Song: Together

"Side by side, we'll face the threat...
In this hostile foreign land.
It's the calm before the storm,
The dawn before the battle's won.
It's the mind that cannot sleep.
It's the wish that goes so deep .
Never weary, never quiet...
It's the last night before we...fight!"

eenuh, it's not really my style of music, and it's guitar parts are kinda annoying, but overal it's kinda of nice.

Pick Me [The Booger Song--okay, not really] - The Little Mermaid, Missula Theater Version

So I've been singing this song almost constantly since our show, it's alternating between awesome and annoying, and if I manage to get it out of my head, a different showtune gets stuck in my head.

"So wipe away your tiny tears,
and smile away your thoughts and fears,
of being lonely
."

Ever seen the movie Top Gun? The anthem/main theme is perhaps one of the best movie themes ever.

Proof.

Current song:

Hot Cherie ~ Hardline ~ Double Eclipse

Lyrics:
Been too long since the last rain
Still the stars sizzle hot in the sky
And there undressed in the shadows
Stands my sweet Cherie hiding from July

And all night
You kept me up ... up all night
Hoping that I could make you mine

You're gettin' me hot, Cherie
And I want what you got all over me
Isn't my love strong enough
I'm ready to rock you long and rough

You're gettin' me hot, Cherie
And I want what you got all over me
I'm going crazy

I can't wait for October
When the breeze from the lake; she's blowing cold
Well maybe she'll need me for some shelter
When the campfire dies and the tall tales have been told

And all night
I've been workin' overtime
Hoping that I could make you mine

You're gettin' me hot, Cherie
And I want what you got all over me
Isn't my love strong enough
I'm ready to rock you long and rough

You're gettin' me hot, Cherie
And I want what you got all over me
I'm going crazy

I still love Johnny Gioeli's vocals. More video proof.

I'm not gonna teach your boyfriend how to dance - Black Kids

mm, I really like this song, I first heard it on David Letterman. The music video is weird though, second weirdest ever, the first would have to be one of Santogolds. I think they look more hawaiian but whatever(:
Give 'em a listennn.

Resist ~ Rush ~ R30 Tour.

Originally from Test for Echo, the band turned it to a much slower ballad, to great effect. Lovin' it.

Lyrics
I can learn to resist
Anything but temptation
I can learn to co-exist
With anything but pain

I can learn to compromise
Anything but my desires
I can learn to get along
With all the things I cant explain

I can learn to resist
Anything but frustration
I can learn to persist
With anything but aiming low

I can learn to close my eyes
To anything but injustice
I can learn to get along
With all the things I don't know

You can surrender
Without a prayer
But never really pray
Pray without surrender

You can fight
Without ever winning
But never ever win
Without a fight

Rhythm From a Red Car ~ Hardline ~ Double Eclipse

Lyrics:
Hit like lightnin', and my head stops spinnin' around
I'm caught in a shuffle on the corner of lost and found
Well wait and see truth by me, didn't need to say a word
Her lips did all the talkin', and not a sound was ever heard
Pray, pretty, won't you tell me what's on your mind
She's got a rhythm from a red car, she's got a rhythm from a red car
Here we go baby, takin' a turn for the better
I work your curves, girl, let the road run on forever
Now you're lookin' good in the mirror, then you blind me with your lies
Well you're drivin' me crazy on this road to paradise
Pray, pretty, won't you tell me what's on your mind
She's got a rhythm from a red car, she's got a rhythm from a red car
(In your eyes I see, you're telling me that you want it too)
She's got a rhythm from a red car, she's got a rhythm from a red car
(In your eyes I see, you're telling me that you want it too)
(Solo)
Rhythm from a red car, she's got a rhythm from a red car
(In your eyes I see, you're telling me that you want it too)
She's got a rhythm from a red car, she's got a rhythm from a red car
(In your eyes I see, you're telling me that you want it too)
She's got a rhythm, rhythm
