But the dates of their shows coincide with the BDO dates. Also, if they were only doing 2 shows why would they leave a week between them?

Well, why not. Let the fans get into position at another venue.
I mean, look, there's 4 BDO's on the eastern coast, if they were playing them, they'd perform at all of them, not just 2. That's my reasoning.

Okay, the Sydney date is smack bang in between the Gold Coast and Sydney BDOs and the Melbourne date is likewise between the Melbourne and Adelaide BDOs.

You gave me the impression that they were only playing two shows.
Anyway, it's possible then.
Sideshows normally only have 2 or so outside of the BDO. It's very possible I guess.

I just hope that this years line up is not as pop as it was last year- the beastie boys sucked hard on there on egos. I hate them. They preformed You Got To Fight For Your Right To Party twice and both times it sucked. And if they were to get Slipknot again, which I doubt, they have to play a longer set and at night!
Ok, that was my rant, I feel better now.

I would have liked to see Beastie Boys. They were upset because they wanted to bring their performing dog troupe with them, but they would have had to be quarentined for ages. Could care less about Slipknot.
But yeah, 2 days till announcement. WoooOo.

Does anyone know if there's any truth in the rumour that the Dresden Dolls are going to join the list of bands? Because that would be sweet, and I would pretty much die if that were true. And then I would have to steal someone's money so I could go.

GAH- I want to be sick from one of the bands on the line up- YOUTH GROUP. Last year when I saw THE MUSIC at the Enmore threate, they opened and sucked hardcore. I am just glad that The Music is one of the best live bands other wise I would have killed some thing.
Also, woot for Iggy Pop- can it get any better then Iggy. AFI is cool, as is The Living End, woot for Franz Ferdinand and Kings Of Leon. But I hate The White Stripes. I wish that some one heavier was in their place.

That will be them. True that there is nothing special musically about them, but they are hot. Hot! Hot!
On another line of thought- the Bloodhound Gangs new album Hefty Fine is ******** fantastic. One song- Ralph- takes quotes from Ralph Wiggum, mixes them around and creates a somg that is both entertaining and funny.
