Johanna bit her lip, then burst out laughing.
"I don't know what makes me believe you, but I sure as hell won't stop you."
Piper laughed, but it was a little uneasy.  

[Aradia Helevorn]

She looked between the two sternly. she was happy that they had found this funny because she didn't. she used a spare hand to pat around in her ceramonial robes. she still had her athemes (a set of ceramonial daggers) and smiled to herself. she never thought that her training would be useful, just a part of her meditation and exercize but it would be useful after all. "Lets find them."

Taryn's steps were measured as she listened with everything she could. somthing was moving quite quickly and she turned to the others, "get ready. i don't know how this is going to go or what they're going to do but stand your ground." she replied being as instructive as possible although it was obvious by her tone that she just liked exersizing the power she had over the others. she really was no battle planner.

"Or we could bring them to us." Johanna said, setting Lillith down on the ground. Piper stood beside her.
"Knock 'em dead." he muttered, winking.

"taryn, i just want her." she replied knowing that she couldn't take them all. she wasn't that stupid or confident. she wasn't about to walk into somthing she couldn't handle. speaking of handle she grabbed one in each hand, on black and one white. she felt kind of bad about using the ceramonial blades, they're never supose to touch blood but they would be saving her life tonight and protecting who she wanted them to.

Taryn paused, their lights ceicing to bounce as she saw three pale faces, two paler than the other. "Lilith." she said under her breath. and began to lead the others forward.

Johanna crouched, a feral growl tearing from her lips, which were curled back over her perfect teeth. Piper mimiced the position, his growls just as fierce.

she stood looking at taryn with a flat, empty expression. taryn used to be her best friend, somone she thought that she cold trust but that was long ago now. obsessed with power as taryn was she forgot all ties to the sisterhood and the creed. "the others have nothing to do with this. this is your judgement not theirs." she spoke icily.

Taryn couldn't beleive what she saw, these vampires were on Lilith's side and also here she walked without no help what so ever, miraculously healed from her own arrow but she obvisouly hadn't been changed. she knew that it was a longer progress and Lilith's eyes were still that eerie amber green that disturbed so many. she scoffed, "my judgement? the others fight with me because i'm their leader." she replied taking the ceramonial sword from her back.

Lilith cringed, she didn't want to cross blades with such a beautiful peice of work but she had to get things done with. "then it is their end as well as yours." she replied and took only a moment to look at her newest comrads. Taryn took that fleeting moment to begin her advance but Lilith was much quicker, parring it with blurring speed, well, for a human. "so mote it be." she replied sadly. and the others charged forward.

Piper and Johanna fell upon the others at the same time, feral screams coming from their throats.

as the other's were easily distroyed taryn and lilith continued to fight violently. but Taryn was getting frustraited by the empty ease that seemed to be on Lilith's face. The former high preistess wasn't even trying. she was toying with taryn to proove a point.

Lilith spun, pushing Taryn away and had one knee pressed into the damp earth, her arms close to her body but still in offenceive position. "I don't need to do this." she replied stiffly. she didn't want to let things get like this. she didn't want to have taryn's blood on her hands but when taryn lunged at her with a reckless scream she knew that she had to end it.

Lilith pushed off with her other foot, ducked beneith the sword and jamed both blades into her abdomen at once. for a second they were both frozen. the blade fell from taryn's hand just before Lilith pulled back, blood gushing more than usuall and then it was obvious that Lilith had aimed for the aeorta, the main artery in the chest even between the ribs. blood was smeared on her robes, her face and her eyes shone like frozen gold in the ending night as Taryn fell unconscience into the ground where she soon lay dead, "may the flights of angels bring thee to thy rest."

Piper blinked several times, opening and closing his mouth like a fish.
Johanna raised an eyebrow at him and shrugged. "You better not make her mad, Pipe." was all she said.

Lilith stood, her eyes still cold as she began to shake. she killed her, she killed taryn, the one who had been her closest friend and as she looked down on her former friend's lifeless body she shook more violently. "what had she become?" she asked. the woman didn't look peiceful, not even in death and all around her was a bloody mess on the untainted earth. a few small tears escaped her eyes, like liquid pearl down her pale face. she had prolonged the fight hoping that taryn would resign but she hadn't. Lilith had to take her life and for the first time there was blood on her hands.

she rubbed them on her robes and turned to the others. "let the animals of the woods have her. it's all that she desurves." she replied coldly. she looked at their shocked faces and sighed. she knew then that they wouldn't be able to look at her the same again.

Johanna swallowed hard, sending a quick glance at Piper.
"Say something." she said, too quiet for anyone else but him to hear.
Piper gave a fractional nod and crossed the space between himself and Lillith in a few quick strides.
"It's over, at least." he said quietly, offering his hand to her.  

[Aradia Helevorn]

she nodded and took a deep breath, "it's over." she took his icy hand and began to walk in a slight daze. she had trouble focusing on what was happening around her. she was going slightly into shock.

Piper rubbed circles on her neck gently.
"'S okay." he muttered. Johanna put her hand on Lillith's shoulder.
"You did good." she offered.

she nodded knowing that she had done well, perhaps too well. but it was nessesary. she had to keep telling herself that. and she needed to beleive it. "i'm ready to go home." she knew for some reason that it wouldn't be her white house in the trees but theirs. she would have to get her things but right at that moment she couldn't think of anything but rest. after all, she would need to be firing on all pistons if she were to figure things out logically.

"Sure." Piper said, pulling Lillith onto his back quickly. They shot off into the trees in a white blur.
