He smiled at her as he lifted his head, his face turning red. "Morning."

"Good morning," she replied, watching him. She wondered what her father was doing after being knocked over by Matt.

He smiled softly as he laid his head back down. "I wonder how your dad's doing..."

At that exact moment, a loud pounding was at the door. "GET OUT OF HERE YOU!" The booming voice of Alice's father yelled.
Alice quivered a bit, shrinking at the voice.

Matthew slid his hand into his pocket as he got up and picked her up setting her in his bed room he locked the door then walked out and opend the door to his appartment. "She's not here.."

"Where else would she be?" the man growled.

Alice curled up under the covers, hoping that her father wouldn't do anything.

"Oh how the ******** should I know, I'm not a god damn baby sitter.."

The father stepped back, "If she isn't home tonight, I'm coming back for you," he growled, leaving.

"Go ahead fat a**!" He called down the hall with a grin as he shut the door and walked into his room, laying on her. "******** WHERE IS SHE!?" he said chuckling.

Alice squeaked, moving out from under him. "Is he gone?"

"Yup yup yup!" He said with a soft smile.

She hugged him, smiling. "Thanks."

He laughed softly as he hugged her back. "He'll never hurt you again as long as I'm here.." He mutterd out of shear hatred

"Thank you, you're the nicest guy I've ever met," she whispered.

"I'm debating wether that's a complement or not, seeing as you don't know many guy's.."
