Oh my goodness, I do believe you just said "one hundred", although there is a better word for that (hyaku).

"watashi wa hatachi desu" is the best way to say "I am twenty years old", but twenty is a special case. To say "twenty one years old" would be "ni jyuu ichi sai desu", or "two tens one years old". The Japanese count by tens, then ones. I hope this makes it a little clearer.

I think you mean "watashi ha jyuu go sai desu". Make sure you add the counter for years (sai) ! biggrin

I thought jyuu was spelled juu..that's what my book said..
