“Can anyone here me out there. The names Barney and I’m broadcasting on all frequencies. Got into nasty dance while back and I’ve been drifting ever since. Practically a space hobo now so if you get this message come say hi. I’ll make you a sandwich, maybe have some scotch, then would you kindly get me off this God forsaken garbage heap of metal. Thanks…..over and out.”

Giget you shouldn’t have. No you didn’t! Aww Giget you do care. The radar scans show a fast moving something a few clicks away. They will be here in no time ready to pick us up. I just don’t get it though. If you knew how to get a hold of someone this whole time why wouldn’t ya just have told me. We could have been back home by now swimming in samiches. No, no, no, now Giget don’t look at me like that. I am happy you got5 something for me. I just wish you cared more. Ahh what do you know, your just a wrench.

Looks like it’s time to suit up. If we are ever going to get out of here I am going to have to rebuild the docking extension. What, you don’t think that will work? What do you mean the incoming blob on the radar is moving to fast to dock on? They are just happy to see us that’s all. Come on now, where is your sense of understanding. That thing would have to be a hyper rocketed missile for something to not slow down and pick us up. It had to get my outgoing message.

Fine I’ll try communicating with it!

“Hey you, speedy ship. The name is Barney and well we could use your help. Over and out.”

Oh shut up with that I told you so. What is the plan now? If it’s a rocket then it could just zip past us and we will never get out of this cosmos. Hmm that is crazy enough to work, crazy enough for me at least. I am not sure how safe it is to fire a gravity harpoon at a rocket but it just might work. Get over here Giget and help me make a few adjustments to this gun.

I don’t like testing my aim but this may be our only chance so it has to work. Just got to line up my sights and…BAMM! Got it Giget. YEEEHA I got me a rocket. This is the best birthday ever!!!!

Alright Giget you didn’t tell me I would have to climb aboard the rocket and play around with its insides. I feel dirty for getting under a missiles skirt and giving it the day and time. Fortunately I did though. The poor girl was headed for death. Image all of the uses of a missile and all people ever want to do with them is blow them up. The nerve, killing innocent metal. I saved her though. She was set to crash into Narith system. Last I checked it was just a planet of back water pirates and farmers.

That’s right Giget, good point. We did send that thug man to the planet for his big job. I can’t image all he wants is money. I mean what can a credited fake number do for someone anyway. I could make his account say any number I want and that isn’t good enough.

Well getting to that planet is a start. Might as well manually take control of the missile and fly it around until I figure something out. Get ready Giget, this is going to be a fun ride. WEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

-s**t Tozzar, there has been a strange interruption with the rocket. We lost control of it and then contact. There is a very powerful missile in the dark headed your way. Good luck soldier- Dowser said with regret lingering heavily in his voice.

"Is anything going my way today?" Tozzar muttered as the two mech suits speed through the war torn streets of the once industrious city. Switching to his com to his channel with Troyce he called out, "Troyce I'm still linked with the Telth army's com system. They are about some missile that they have heading this way. We should, you know, get the hell out of here like immediately. Tozzar fired his machine gun up at a squad of Telth swat team members that were firing some rifles down at them. The rifles weren't strong enough to penetrate the armor of the mech suits they were wearing so the two made short work of the Telth.

-Well that shoots our chance at scraping a ship. We seem to have terrible luck my friend. You know, strange things have been happening ever since we picked you up in the hive.- Troyce conveyed with a distant feeling to his thought. It was as if he was trying to connect all of the events to some kind of illusive source. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it and in the presence of uncertainty, placed it to the back of his mind. The urgency now was to get out of the city.

-The remote terrain around this city is desert for the most part. The planet isn’t much more then mineral waiting to be harvested. With our mechs we should be able to get to a safe location outside the city. From there we can push toward another city. I could draw intel from a few sources and see what they know about country lodging. There has to be more ships somewhere on this forsaken planet. Any chance we try and take a ship from these cor mongers.- Troyce asked.
PostPosted: Tue Jun 14, 2011 12:26 am
"Hmmmm I don't know Troyce, wouldn't the other cities be sending reinforcements to help break the Cor attack here, unless they were under attack themselves." Tozzar said as Troyce blasted a hole in the outer wall of the city with his heavier mech's missiles. The two turned out of the city and started to speed across the desert.

They were making good time going out of the city, unfortunately Tozzar had no map of the planet so he had to follow wherever Troyce decided to lead them. So far they hadn't had any contact with Cor or Telth soldiers. Finally something was going in their favor. Tozzar needed to get off of the planet quickly. The UA should be sending him more help; Tozzar had the only copy to priceless data, data that Tozzar figured the UA would be more interested in getting their hands on. If things were going better for him he might take a second to look through some of the data himself, but he hadn't exactly had a moment to himself in a while to shift through it. UA or no UA Tozzar's first priority was to get off the planet and into some safe zone. Where that safe zone was he had no idea.

“Tauk, there has been a breach in the cities walls. I have already dispatched a team but from quick scans it seems like the city thinks it was an explosion from the inside the initiated it. Something or someone has just ran town. It’s either that or reinforcements from the other cities are here.” Gab spoke of as he hovered over his superior. Tauk was slaving over the beacon data, hopping to understand it further. There was no use. He didn’t know how to uncover the data and make it relevant. He would need there blasted engineer back to do any of that work.

“I can’t believe I am going to have to go running back to Barney. This is ridiculous. I banished that idiot for a reason.” Tauk swelled with anger. His heated gestures and body language showed no sine of relief. Gab’s words only complicated things more.

“Well sir this actually may give us a lead. If I am correct I do remember the initial scan and camera evidence showed an unidentified mech fighter and a RED ghost mech. I think it was those two who fled. Maybe they saw the data. They could be running because they know just how important that information is. If we chase them and catch them, all is well”

“I guess that makes sense. Send out a team and hmmm….why don’t you go with them; this is strictly a hunting recon team. Don’t let tem find you.” Tauk ordered and it was done.

-Toblin, it looks like if we head more north west from here we will hit another settlement. My source describes it as a pirates camp that operates outside of the city to get by the telth regulations. There will be ships there.- Troyce instructed while changing his course. The two moved in that direction for a few hours. It wouldn’t be long before they reached the pirate settlement.

-Tozzar, now that you moved out of the cities location and safely away from the oncoming destruction we will attempt to extract you. Undercover UA enforcement will come. We will treat your target as a friend and dispose of him later. The city still needs to be destroyed so no one goes looking into it later. Unfortunately, as mentioned earlier the missile has gone dark. We think it may have exploded to early. When you meet up with the UA squads your next assignment is to assist them in destroying the city. They will investigate the other factions involved while you are escorted here.- Dowser instructed promptly once you had left the hot zone. This told you they knew your location at all times.

“Under direct orders of the Prime Corporation you are now in the complete custody of United Arms. Your full cooperation is required as all rights are subject to evaluation and elimination. You are found wanted for conspiracy against United Arms and will be escorted to the headquarters immediately for questioning.” A scrawny undercover UA Telthisian agent said promptly to Troyce’s entering of the ship. Disgust filled every inch of Troyce’s being. Bulging veins ran along his tentacles until residing in clenched fists that balled up. The shock threw him back a bit. He knew there was someone Tozzar was communicating with but he didn’t know he was a traitor and signed on with the UA. He felt sick. With no choice but to comply, Troyce brought his tentacles together in round as a UA agent wrapped them in specially designed cuffs that molded in as tight as possible around Troyce’s 6 parts. As soon as they had him cuffed he was dragged to a vault on one of the lower levels. Once everything was taken care of and the ship had lifted off the UA human agents came out of hiding.

The vessel was composed of 20 UA employees. 12 made up the recon squad who were apart of your same department and the other 8 made up the ship crew. Most were human, curious humans at that. Once they got the chance they had to greet you. Each one attempted a good first impression. Others thought they were infinitely better then you because they were human. They didn’t leave their post.

“So this is the Tozzar I have heard about?” A healthy distribution of metal, wires, and flesh asked with high interest lingering back behind the question. The cyborg wore a colorful uniform, decorated in many awards and badges. There was no telling how much of him was robotics but it had to at least be 50% with both his left arm and leg replaced with mechanics of all sorts. It was obvious he knew the answer but difficult to say what he meant by it. “My name is Dasberg. This is my vessel. Here, I am God. You are an asset and all precious cargo will be accounted for. Dowser had a considerable amount of respect and trust for you. I see it as you got lucky and now you head is worth more then you can carry. So I am going to carry it for you. Stay out of our way and things will run smoothly. Do I make myself clear?” He adds sternly and without waiting for an answer turns back to the control chair to positions himself in it. You are finally on your way to UA.

“You have to be kidding me!!!” -Tauk we may have a problem. It has defiantly been confirmed that those two Telthisian know what was in that pub. We located them in a remote pirate settlement but things got really hairy. Tithlitel got involved after a sudden riot broke lose within the town. Then a rocket hits the Tithlitel’s star ship and takes it out of the air. There is rubble and destruction everywhere. I have just been informed that tailing that rocket was Barney. If the Tithlitel links this back to us we are done for. I think it is time to leave. – Gab projects to Tauk in a puff of anxiety. His shrill and quick pace only amplifies his fear.

-Round up everything there, especially Barney, and get back here immediately. We leave in 2 hours. There is something very strange about these two Telthisians we have discovered and I want answers. We are going to follow their vessles tracks.- Tauk replies. His orders were clear. Gab got to work.

-Good work Tozzar. I am pleased to hear you are finally on your way to UA. I can’t wait to personally shake your hand. It’s great news to hear you did end up catching the other telth scum. We will want to question him once he gets here. Just keep an eye on him. Oh by the way, before I forget, you have been paid. Check your account in your con station and you can order anything you can afford. If there is something you want outside of Prime equipment then order that separately and we will transfer it. Keep in touch.- Dowser said with an astounding voice. He was very excited for your success.

“Tozzar we are preparing to make a quick stop to pick up a few parts on another planet in the Narrith system. This is the cheapest some of the Cor equipment gets. We are already going to stop so you might as well check out their rates on a few products. Feel free to buy something and we will pick it up for you.” Dasberg mentioned while making a few adjustments to the ships course. A few clicking noises and then the faint shift in the ships direction followed in his finger pressing. He turned to you to hand the catalog over. The tiny USB disk made contact with your hand and then slid into your palm to connect with your conL. You could access the whole catalogue from your brain now. Dasberg smirked and then brought himself back to his seat. “Just let me know if you don’t want to get anything. There is plenty to get and you should have a decent amount of money already.”

“Sir the ship has successfully been hacked. Someone just got information of everyone on board and our current course. Our undercover identities are all they picked up so they have no idea that we are UA or human.” One of the pilots announced with a quick turn. His face, pale from the news, showed clear stress marks all down and around his wrinkles.

“Great. Change course immediately, we land now! I can’t believe that b*****d would try anything. Tozzar, go check on our guest and see what he is up to. He could have contacted anyone. We will just have to pressure more energy to shield s and jammers rather then speed.” Dasberg roared. He continued dialing while everyone got to work. A blue light went off that called for a few men to get on the ship’s guns.

Tozzar scanned through the items that were being offered for sale and thought carefully. He had a bit of money, but in the scheme of things it would run out quick. Mechs and stuff like that were to expensive and he could request them from the UA on a need basis. He needed to spend his money on stuff he would in a variety of situations and that wouldn't be readily from the UA.

He selected the grenade wrist sling, hacker pro, and jet pack shoulder. These would go good with the upgrades he already had in his armor, and tools that could be vitale to his type of work.

Tozzar looked at the alarms went off and cursed, "Why does nothing ever go smoothly? Can't the UA get one person to their terroirity without fighting planet by planet?"

Tozzar moved to the brig and found the bonded Troyce, "So yeah we are being hacked by an unknown source, wouldn't know anythought about that would you?"
PostPosted: Tue Jul 19, 2011 6:27 pm
“You’re an idiot and your going to get us all killed. I know everything about it but I don’t know any more then you do you dim whit.” Troyce growled from his bondage. There was no struggle in his tone or movement. The telthisian simply hung in the brig in a sulking manner of disapproval and annoyance.

His puzzling words made dealing with him difficult but it was the most you would get out of him. You could tell though that he knew more, as if he was stuck in this position simply because there was no other choice. It was strange to think but going along with everything may be the better choice out of his options. He was a schemer and his brain was ticking away.

-Well this jammer is child’s play. I’ll have it hacked in minutes. Just get us closer boss.- Barney said while ripping away along his massive computer board. The sounds of his typing sounded like the rain during a storm. “Come now Giget, this is all just fun. What do you mean hacking them is a bad idea?” Barney spoke abruptly to the wrench beside his computer desk along the deck of their space ship.

-The information here says they are trying to land on another planet in the Narrith system. It looks like they have put in an items request with Tuktar. We won’t be able to catch them in time before they land. We will try to get close Barney but I have another plan. Ruk, put me through to TSow. I have a business proposition for them.- Tauk said in reply with a grin. He was worried for his targets. They were very frigle and carried some of the most expensive information in the entire galaxy but all risks had to be made. Better them dead then safely in the wrong hands. TSow is another Telthisian company known for its ability to obtain and or assassinate targets of interest. Tauk had them on speed dial, aka, the com link number to management in the assault department. Tauk knew TSow would be a good choice because there was almost a guarantee there would be a few units present within this part of the Narrith system.

-Pulling up the call number now. You’re in sir- Ruk, another brute by size and character said.

-Tyzcion, it has been to long. How are you friend?- Tauk began with his form of a friendly greeting. His words were short but lingering with a happy tone.

-Tauk you’re happy, what’s wrong?- Tyzcion replied in a similar fashion only in a much high pitch voice. The difference in pitch between a cordeck and telthisian was very apparent.

-I was visiting your side of Narrith and remembered I had another hit for you. I will pay nicly for this one. Three times the pay as last game.-

-Straight to business. That is more like you. What can I do for you today?-

-The target is moving across the Narrith system in a standard telth assault space craft. The captain and crew are to be killed but their two passengers are needed alive for questioning. I will send over what we have hacked so you can find them. This one is very important Tyzcion so don’t screw it up.-

-Now come on Tauk, when do I ever screw up?-

-That’s what I am worried about.-

-Tozzar I need you to assist us. Jump into a cannon pod. The radar has picked up a squad of Telth fighters. I’ll take care of the snitch on board.- Dasburg cried out through com. Another light had begun to flash witch meant the ship was now being targeted by weapons rather than hacked. Twenty or so small/nimble fighter space ships raced toward the UA undercover ship with blood on their minds.

Tozzar looked at Troyce and cursed, drawing his pistol with a tentacle he put it to Troyce's forhead, "I should kill you now and save my cover. It's a big risk letting you live." He stayed there paused for a second and scowled, "Unfortunately the UA is my only option right now so I can't piss them off." Holstering his gun Tozzar turned from the room and started to walk out, "If I start to think you are even in danger of getting out of here in anyone's hands but the UA's. You will be dead."

Tozzar moved through the ship as it increased speed with ease, that was a plus of being Telth; they had enough arms to stabilize their movement in almost any type of terrain, a rocking ship was nothing. Tozzar made it to the closest cannon and jumped in as it powered up. Without much experience in cannons Tozzar wasn't going to be much help, but it couldn't hurt to have another cannon firing could it?
PostPosted: Tue Aug 23, 2011 7:36 pm
The large group of fighter ships looked to know what they were doing. They resembled the elite of their kind in the aircraft they flew. With flawless flying around craters and dodging the oncoming bullets, there seemed to be no stopping the 20 or so ships. The hit squad was far more trained in what they were doing then the intelligence squad that was forced to abort their mission to save Tozzar. The difference was extremely noticeable on the field. Despite the odds, the cannon fire slowed them down somewhat. Dasburg moved from his spot at the ships cabin and into the brig to shake up what was going on. He had no reason to suspect a third parties involvement so from his standpoint all the blame fell onto Troyce’s shoulders.

Your eye trained on the closest oncoming fighter ship. With every second the cannon would fire, a blast of heat would launch outward, hurling balls of decimating fire at high speeds. You were able to take out a few before your cannon blew up. Not only did that mean you were unable to return fire to the quickly oncoming force but it meant the ships defenses were low enough to take real and possibly permanent damage. As soon as you returned from the extension of the cannon controls you could sense the wild fear. Running along the floors and walls was the panicked state of being each member of the crew shared. They scurried about with all the attempts they could muster to save the ship.

One of the crew members approached you with a very worried scowl. He had been looking for Dasburg when he noticed the brig was wide open. Inside was Dasburg confined where Troyce should have been. He tried his best to explain what he saw while on the way there but it was just too bizarre to understand. Even after seeing it you couldn’t piece together what might have happened. Inside the chains and everything was Dasburg with no signs of Troyce.

“What do we do Tozzar. Troyce is going to want revenge and he has to still be somewhere on the ship.”

-Internal distress detected. This vessel is now in lock down. All escape pods have been locked with out the override command key. Internal distress detected. Engines will shut down in 5…..4…..3…..2…..1- The ships auto computer spoke in it’s slightly British accent. At that moment the ship slowly came to a halt in the middle of space. The only other option was to emergency dock on the nearest planet.

Without the ship in progress the fighter space crafts caught up in seconds and had the vessel surrounded. They attempted to dock but the emergency settings wouldn’t allow it. The hit team decided to take a more direct route and sent drones onto the ship to hack a way in.

-UA form up in the vault room. We can keep them at bay as long as they came in small waves. We cannot afford to lose the precious cargo. Once this vessel is secure we will search for the missing info telth. - The second in command of the squad said. –Tozzar can you get Dasburg out of there and bring him to the vault.-

((another feature or skill that Tozzar is capable of performing is “trap pre-cog.” At any time when you feel as though things may be a bit to fishy you can perform this pre-cog by rolling a dice. Your skill will increase with experience of course but at this point to successfully uncover part of what might be a trap or something harmful planned against you will take a 5 or a 6 on a d6 roll.))

Tozzar nodded and started to undo the cords on Dasburg as fast as he could. He looked down at his waist while he did and saw the pistol strapped to his hip, he hoped he would be able to hold them off long enough to put a hole through Troyce's head. How could he of escaped?

"How did Troyce get the jump on you Dasburg? What the hell happened? How could you let this happen?" Once Tozzar had got Dasburg out of his confines the two started to make their way towards the vault. Sparks flew at them from all directions as damage to the ship was starting to be noticeable from the inside. "I hope your ship can withstand some damage, its about to get some more once those bastards get onboard this ship."

Tozzar and Dasburg were the last ones to make it to the vault. Once the two were inside Tozzar moved towards the door and pulled his pistol to make sure that it was charged, the battery was at 90%; that was going to have to be good enough.
