Appearance:
Larger than the average Ela'wadiyian female due to her pridelander blood from her mother, Eeva is a well-built and beautiful female. Her dark brown coat is swirled with pale brown tattoos, describing the events in her life that have led up to her becoming an adult. She has a pale brown stomach and maw, with darker brown ears and hair between her ears. Her eyes are a bright blue and always kindly. Her tail-tuft is tipped with white, the only white upon her form. An orange ear clasp hangs from her left ear and she wears the traditional embellishments of a Ela'wadiyi female.

Personality:
Rebellious and mischievous as a youth, Eeva has managed to rise above expectations and tame that energy into becoming a wonderful leader. She is welcoming to all, so long as they mean well, and spends a lot of time teaching the clan many things. Her focus is to lead and to guide and to teach and ensure that those in the clan look up to her as someone dependable. She is still playful and childlike around her own siblings, but she tries to hide this side from others, unless they know her well enough. She will always offer an ear to those in need and is extremely understanding, not at all judgemental.She is a great master of stealth and a wonderful huntress, just as her mother was before her, and knows the importance in a strong family unit.

History
Eeva was the first born child and daughter of Ona'raha and Rehema Subiani, and, as such was deemed the heir at birth, following the tradition of a female clan leader being in charge. As she grew it became clear that she was becoming somewhat rebellious and was often running off in search of adventures with her friends from other clans. Her behaviour distressed her parents and they wondered whether they were being cruel in forcing the crown of leadership on this somewhat untameable daughter. However, Eeva was determined to take on the role and prove that she was able to do it, and, as she hit adolescence she settled into learning the role from her father - who had been the stand-in until she was ready. Already an able huntress, Eeva learned to put her selfish adventures aside and focus on the good of the clan. It took a lot of getting used to and sometimes it saddens her that she never got to leave the lands to see the world before becoming leader. She also began to grow close to a young cloud-marked male by the name of Wingu, in another pride. However, her time with him dwindled as she made more and more time for her lessons.

Upon reaching adulthood and with younger siblings running around her paws, Eeva became the Alu'nadi of the Shadow Clan, wearing the wreath of leaves upon her head and celebrating with the growing clan. And, as time passed, it was clear that she had been well-placed in leadership, even if it did seem a strain at times. She thrived on teaching others and helping raise her younger brothers and sisters, teaching them to paint tattoos and to hunt and move with stealth. And, when her parents had their first litter which produced an adventurous little cub - just like she had been - Eeva encouraged her to follow her heart and convinced her parents to let her go exploring with a rogue friend. Eeva perhaps is trying to live her own life through Laka, but not through force. She is simply doing all she can to make sure her siblings do not live with regret.

Appearance:
A scruffy looking hyena with a thin waist revealing the lines of his ribs. Not exactly starving, his body certainly shows signs of the wanderer life, only eating when a carcass makes itself apparent. He has dark fur with a white stomach and white rimmed eyes, leading into 'tear' marks edged with purple. He also has purple splotches on his shoulders and vivid purple eyes.

Personality:
Marakl is your typical hyena. He is overly friendly, always up for a laugh and a prankster. He is part of a pack that consists of a lion and some wild-dogs, whom he has been with since a pup. Because of this he holds no prejudices, and sees everyone as an equal, not judging anyone. He obsesses over food and is always seen smiling. Marakl likes nothing more than a good banter, although his conversation is far from intelligent. This tends to mean that no matter how wide his smile is, he can be a bit of an irritant, sort of like a puppy you can never get rid of. Loyal to his friends, he adores teasing others, particularly Atreyu. Wherever Marakl is, you know trouble is soon to follow.

History
Abandoned by his mother as a pup, Marakl was taken in by the wilddog Marzi and her lion companion Atreyu. Here he was raised in an odd little family group and viewed the two more as brother and sister. They were literally inseparable, spending time scavenging together and playing pranks on one another. The pranks were usually focused on Atreyu and it was clear that Marzi and Marakl would make a good team.

Later on, Marakl met up with Marzi's sister, Kalpana, and the two have become firm friends. They occassionally take their leave of their 'pack' to go and cause mischief in the rogue lands, seeking adventure and rainbows as they go.

Appearance:
A brige orange lion, Rap has white toes and a thick, white mane. His eyes are a fiery yellow and rimmed with white that makes them stand out in his wide-set face. Like most Firekin, Rap is a huge, fierce looking lion with a great stature and the body of a fighter. He carries his mother's markings on his face, two dark stripes beneath each eye. And, more proudly, he bears her flaming tail-tuft, a sign of his elite heritage.

Personality:
Rap is an accidental bad boy. He does everything in an attempt to right wrongs or to punish wrongdoers, but he goes about it the wrong way and can often cause distress or heartbreak in the process.

Deeply affected by his mother's death, he has been left bitter and angry towards those that he believe killed her, though this anger is misplaced he does not realise it until it is too late. Even still, he is desperately trying to strive the beauty that his mother found in her last moments. He desperately wants to save someone, change lives, just as his mother sacrificed herself to save her son.

Rap is a loud lion, always happy to talk and very open about his emotions. This firekin would just as easily burst into tears as he would erupt into a rage. Not ashamed of showing his grief or his anger or his joy, his actions usually outrageously reflect this. In joy he might grab someone in a tight embrace. In his rage he might strike out and draw blood. However, quick to anger as he may be, he is also quick to calm, somewhat like an uncontrollable storm. However, this uncontrollability also makes him predictable and it is easy to provoke and soothe him if someone knows him well enough. Not the smartest lion, he thinks with his heart and emotion, which can sometimes make it seem that he lacks common sense. In Rap’s mind everything he does makes sense, even if it is madness to others. (Such as throwing himself recklessly into danger or teasing a crocodile with his tail).

Rap believes that a great destiny waits for him.

History
Born to elderly parents as part of a big litter, Rap doesn’t have many memories of his mother. She died at an early age trying to save Rap’s unnatural coloured brother. All he remembers is her voice and sections of a story she would tell them when they were bound to the den.

When she died, Rap was filled with a deep sense of vengeance, and thinking it was the traitors - the Simo - who had killed her, vowed to make them pay for what they had taken from him. He encouraged another young Firekin by the name of Rowtag to join his cause - which he did for his own reasons - and the two agreed to plan to strike a blow against them. Not long after, however, Finar-Si made an appearance and bade her children into the world. Rap took to the rogue lands whilst Rowtag went with his family to the Simo to work from the inside. Both agreed to meet as adults to make their move.

Rap ventured out, spending some time with his siblings before striking off alone. Shortly after, he bumped into a veteran warrior called Hakan'mawasii and, after some convincing, apprenticed to him. His talent for fighting was undeniable and he learned swiftly under Hakan's teachings. The two grew close and, as Rap reached adulthood, realised that Hakan had become a father to him. The feeling was returned, Hakan thinking of Rap as a son. The two sparred and taught one another, however, it was clear that Rap would not give up his plan of vengeance. Hakan, knowing that Rap would most likely be walking to his death, vowed to go with him when the time came and aid his cause.

Time passed and as Rap reached his full growth, the two made plans to go to the Firekin lands and strike out at them. As they drew closer, however, they bumped into a female by the name of Kinagiri and Rap watched as Hakan and she grew closer. By the time he realised just how much, it was too late, and Rap felt guilty as he parted the two with his quest for revenge.

Upon reaching the lands, Rap called to Rowtag who tried to put them off an attack. However, Rap would not listen and eventually he convinced the Firekin to lead them to the dens so that they could kill the rulers of the pride. However, when they got there, the Regents were not there and a fight broke out with the General and a trusted friend of the Regent. In this fight Hakan lost his life protecting Rap and, using this as a distraction, Rap fled into the desert, badly wounded and knowing he would not get far. However, by chance, the lions who were sent to chase him down were close relatives and they saw mercy to set him free, returning to their leaders to proclaim him dead.

It took many weeks before he managed to return to Kinagiri - who had been waiting - where he broke the news to her. Discovering then, that she was a seer, and pregnant, Rap is now determined to do something good with his life and help raise his father's offspring.

Appearance:
A bright yellow-pelted lion (looked down on in the Firekin society) with a white mane, stomach and tips of paws. He has a streak of red in the front of his mane - taken from the same shade as the pelt of his mother. He has his father's bright green eyes. Uddhava is smaller than your average Firekin and certainly not bearing the build of a fighter. In fact, unless he told you, you'd never guess he came from that pride at all.

Personality:
A little unsure of himself, Uddhava is not one to put himself at the centre of attention. Being told his fate early from childhood he has grown up accepting that he will not fit in at home and was both sad and happy to be leaving it behind him.

He bottles it up, but Uddhava has a lot of sadness inside of him. He regrets that his birth brought his mother’s death, and that he is a failure as a Firekin. He can’t understand the purpose of his being, though he has deep hopes that he’ll find that purpose outside of the lands, away from the scrutiny of his own kind.

He is, however, an intelligent young lad, eager to learn about the outside world. Well-spoken and kindly it would be odd of him to ever bear his claws upon another and is generally very timid and shy.

History
Born unnatural in the eyes of the Firekin, his mother tried to protect him by stealing him away in secret so that he might live in safety within the lands of the Simo. However, on the way they bumped into a couple of vengeful rogues. Uddhava was hidden by the sand, but was drawn to the sounds of fighting and appeared to see his mother covered in blood. His appearance startled the rogues who fled and his mother - injured as she was - carried him to Simo borders where she called to the Firekin and gave her son to them. She died with his name on her lips.

He grew up under the care of a nanny and his brother, Azarax, until the time came for him to leave. As an adolescent, he left the lands and journeyed out alone. Desperately lonely and sad, he perhaps would have perished if it were not for a travelling family. He accompanied them to the Tuiat'tekam lands where he spent a bit of time before wandering whether that was where he truly belonged.

Appearance:
A lion who is completely red, except for the whites of his eyes. Azar's red pelt is covered with splotches of lighter red and he even has red eyes. It should be noted that he is extremely proud of his red pelt. Azar'bijan has a good and sturdy build, making him perfect for defensive stances.

Personality:
Azar'bijan is not the smartest lion in the pride. He acts first and thinks later, often landing him in trouble. He likes nothing more than to shoot his mouth off and, despite his mixed heritage, looks down at those of an odd pelt colour or those with no red on their pelt. A bit of a bully as a youth, he's mellowed out a little since then, but not much. Still always up for a brawl and liking to press other's buttons often sees him involved in little spats. Often he acts defensively and talks out without thinking, hurting others and himself. He is very proud and, as such, never likes to apologise or admit that he was wrong. However, despite that, he has a very good heart, though often most don't realise it. His behaviour, unsurprisingly seems to alienate himself from others.

Azar is a typical male in that responsibility and getting tied down scare him, and though he's accepted he needs to take care of his family and realise that he does love the mother of his children, it still scares him a lot to think too much on it.

This lion, despite all of his faults, is a very hard worker, putting one hundred percent into his training, and despite his thick-skulled temperament, he is a wonderful and dependable guard.

History
Azar'bijan was a bit of a mummy's boy as a youth, not really looking up to or respecting his father much seeing as he was never really around. Perhaps this can account for the reasoning behind some of his behaviour. Bullying other cubs, particularly huria cubs, as a youth seemed to bring him some amusement but - not surprisingly - few friends. However, one female did see something of a friend in him, despite the fact that she was the butt of many insults. Her name was Ursa and she was a pretty female indeed, who eventually came to have a crush and thus fall in love with Azar. However, come adolescence, Azar was too busy crushing on his teacher, Uuo, to notice how much he was hurting her. In fact, he didn't realise just how much he cared for Ursa until it came to light that she'd had a one-night stand with his brother. Angry and jealous, in a fit of idiocy, they, too, shared a night together and, soon after, Ursa discovered she was pregnant, though she did not know who the father of the cubs was.

However, during this time, Azar was caught up in a plot of murder with a group of joining rogues. Being one of the main suspects put a lot of pressure on him and, when one of his closest brothers, Vlam, became victim to the murderer, left badly wounded, Azar seemed to be deeply affected by this. When the murderer was discovered, however, all was well and the two could focus on attempting their shaky relationship for the good of their cubs.

Appearance:
A lion of bold and traditional Firekin colours. A deep red, but vibrant pelt with dark red socks, white-tipped paws and back. He has a black-striped tail, tufted in black, also, and a black mane and stomach. His face is striped with white and black and set with fierce, cold blue eyes. An anchor marking is set on his forehead. His pelt is also riddled with scars from past fierce fights.

Personality:
Rowtag has always been a fiery lion acting on the 'act now think later' way of life, but without too much thinking afterwards. If you annoy him expect to get a claw's out slap across the face. Fiery and volatile and enjoying the thrill of a fight, Rowtag's actions often lead him down dangerous paths. More recently, having been exiled from his homeland, he's gone into a mental decline. Living in a sort of 'dream-world' where he has shut out the pain of what he has done and trying to pretend that it doesn't exist.

History
Born as part of a large litter to Queen Kenna of the Safi, Rowtag was a typical hot-headed, mightier-than-thou prince who threw his weight around and cared little for the consequences. Angered that they had to eventually return to the Simo to be able to continue on living in the desert of their ancestors, Rowtag foolishly agreed to help another young male, Rap, to get revenge on the Simo. This brash decision came back to haunt the male in his adulthood. A soldier and involved in a budding romance with the daughter of the Regent, Zii'moto, Rowtag tried to find a way to get out of his promise made as a youngster. However, sadly, his plans to stay out of the fray failed. He broke Zii's heart and, though not killed for his part in the plot to kill the ruling Regents, was exiled and never allowed to return. This broke his heart and mind and now he travels all alone, dangling on the edge of insanity and waiting for death to take him.

Appearance:
A dark grey pelt set with brilliant vibrant red markings. The markings band her tail and embellish the front of her neck, where her collarbones are. Her eyes are banded with red that flow down her cheeks, mimicking tears and her ears are also tipped with the same shade of red. Her bi-coloured eyes take a shade from each of her parents. One olive - from her father - and one of them glass-green - from her mother. She has an identical twin whose only difference is the inverted eye colour.

Personality:
Fia is a rebellious youth who likes nothing more than an adventure and to break a rule or two. She is fiercely loyal to her family and to her pride, though she is not one for romance or settling down to have cubs. In fact, the very idea of it holds little interest and she has made a vow that she would sooner die than becoming the swooning mate of another lion, no matter how fierce or wonderful he might be. Her fierce independence has led her to being a strong lioness and, despite not being a soldier, she has always had a natural talent for battle.

Close to her twin and to her parents, Fia remains somewhat aloof of her other family members, though she does - at times - like to get involved in their affairs.

Currently, in the time of peace, Fia is wishing and hoping for some major event to happen so that she might get the chance to record a piece of history that will be remembered forever as something grand.

History
The eldest child of the lone litter of Kidondo and No, Fia was glad that the monarchy was given up for an elected council who would rule the lands. She spent her childhood rebelling and causing mischief, not wanting to conform to anything until the last moment. Then she met her teacher, Mzaa, and decided to apprentice herself to her, learning the art of becoming a Historian.

She grew quickly and turned into a beautiful young female who, despite her heritage, has no wish for grandeur or power. She is now a fully-fledged historian, though currently single and planning for it to always be that way, though she would not deny herself the opportunity to flirt whenever it may arise.
