Personality: Quite, but not shy. Nahiko is a thinker, and is often taking in more than he is letting out. Growing up with his mother and subconsciously drawing on her stealthy and subtle ways, Nahiko has learned to keep thoughts to himself and speak them only when it matters most. Despite his sometimes quite tendencies, he is very devoted to his pride and fellow members. He would love to have every chance to protect them, especially his mother and the girl of his dreams. His wit allows him to decipher the smallest goings on, and his determination and common sense allow for survival skills. He may not be the fastest thinker, but you can count on him catching on sooner rather than later.

Prompt Response: It has been four days since Nahiko's mother had a strange visitor in the night. Ever since then..... she hasn't quite right. Her mind seemed to be in other places than upon her duties and this worried the pastel cheetah greatly. He had a great respect for his mother, though it was clear the rest of their family did not. However, it ate him alive seeing her like this. Pacing back and forth, wearing the ground down beneath her very paws. She had something very important to tell him, he knew that much. But that was all she was able to get out of her mouth. And time was wasting fast.
"We have to leave, my son." her words rang in his ears, and they played over and over like a broken record. We have to leave. We have to leave. We have to.....leave. Leave?!? Leave the family?! But why? Where? When? How? Nahiko had so many questions, so little time, and he was getting so few answers. And he had just proposed to the girl of his dreams no less! They were going to start a family. He hated the thought of having to leave her behind....after they had shared their hopes and dreams. He was to be her mate, and she to bare him cubs that would be raised to serve the family to the best of their ability. But now those hopes and dreams seemed to crumble beneath his very paws.
Paws that had trained to become the best fighter he could be, to protect his mom and his love.... but now he knew why his mother never pushed him to pursue a rank within the pride. They were leaving. She had to have known it was true from the very start. But why? Why would she keep secrets from him? He told her everything...but it was clear that she did not do the same. And yet still..... he felt a certain loyalty to her more than anyone else. He loved his mother...he truly did. That would not stop him from finding out the truth however. He would get to the bottom of it.
It was hard, but Nahiko had made up his mind. There was no changing it now. It was obvious to him that danger lurked around the corner, though for what reason, he had yet to fully deduce. All he knew was that they had to act swiftly. His mother was serious, and he had felt many times that she was all he had. He couldn't leave her. Not now. He would accompany her.....even if it meant leaving his heart behind. Perhaps it would be safer that way.....
