Name: Kesi
Name Meaning: "Born at time of great trouble for father."
Personality: Kesi is like a game of twenty questions with no set object in mind - long winded, a little annoying, incessantly curious and plenty of fun. Due to the fact that she was shielded from much of the harshness of their parents, Kesi is extremely naive and trusting of those around her, so she's caused her fair share of problems for her sister. Kesi tries to keep her cub-like nature in check, but sometimes it just gets the most of her and she annoys those around her with her immaturity. Despite all of her downfalls she is an extremely kind and affectionate lioness, Kesi especially fawns on her sister, looking up to her and trying to brighten her days.

Prompt Response: Kesi's paws ached as her long, limber ivory limbs stretched out in front of her devouring less and less distance as her once full belly cried out in want of food that it'd been deprived of for far too long. The night was drawing in and she was quite exhausted from the frantic journey to warn those that came into her path about the approaching storm. It felt like she'd been running for months, though she doubted it had been nearly half that long.
Aanga ran at her side and for once, Kesi was aware of what all the hardship her sister must have gone through to make her life easier. As always, she was enormously proud of her sister, but now she realized the sacrifices the older lioness must have made. Though she knew her journey was nowhere near over, Kesi felt proud that for once she was doing something that her sister, while not exactly approving of, had agreed to do readily enough.
It hadn't been easy giving up the first place that had truly felt like home, but having seen the lives stolen away from members of her pride Kesi was given a purpose in life and damned if she wasn't going to do it! Though she was weary, her journey wasn't over and it wouldn't be until she knew for sure that every lion, lioness or cub she came across was safe. With her mind fully focused on her plans Kesi smiled at her sister and pushed herself a little harder knowing that, in the end, every life saved was worth the discomfort she was feeling now.

-should add that up front- It is possible to enter any contest, so long as you qualify for it. You can only win one, though. The only exception is the advertising contest.
