Reply: Ular-Pahlawan had heard about the breeder who was kicked out of the pride because he abused his cheetahs. Personally Ular-Pahlawan didn't think that the punishment fit the crime. He thought the breeder deserved worse. He wasn't entirely knew to being a breeder, as he was born in the pride. During his time as a breeder, he had witnessed many different methods that breeders used to get the results they wanted. Ular-Pahlawan enjoyed playing matchmaker and seeing how his matches played out, however he would never force one of his cheetahs to mate with another cheetah they had no interest in. He wanted his cheetahs to be happy more than anything else.

"Of course not. To do such a thing is absolutely--it's unthinkable, that's what it is!" the lion proclaimed, wrinkling his nose to show his distaste. "I'm not their grand overlord, you know. I don't get to decide if they get harmed or not--and I wouldn't want to, for your information. My cheetahs aren't objects to be broken as I will." His indignation having been made clear, Shukri flicked his tail, ears pinning flat to his skull as he leveled a baleful glare down his snout at his questioner.
"I feel absolutely no sympathy for that breeder. He deserved exactly what he got and then some, if you ask me. Why, somebody should've put his eyes out or--or something! Throw him to the crocodiles, that sort of thing!" With a short growl, the male dug his claws into the ground, not entirely realizing that he was making a scene. He wouldn't have minded much anyway, really. "I would never abuse mine. Never, you hear me? And anybody who thinks that such a barbaric thing should be allowed can go join our 'friend' out in the rogue lands. Quickly, at that." The way he spat out the word 'friend' made it very clear that Shukri was utilizing as much sarcasm as he could muster, and his questioner was soon treated to another withering glance.
It wasn't much longer before the lion launched off onto a rant about how well he treated his cheetahs, much to the dismay of anyone around him. It was a known fact that Shukri tended towards histrionics, and now was most certainly one of those times--if only somebody could get him to shut up.
