The Onix took the Aura Sphere and roared in pain, quickly retaliating by smacking several large rocks off the ground with its tail, sending a Rock Throw at the Togekiss. As for an exit there was one all the way across the room, easily visible from here.

The Swellow looked back just once after it hit the Dragonite and saw it in pursuit. The bird attempted to out fly the dragon but it was no good, the bird was hit and went spirally through the air. "Big Bird! Get payback! Use Mirror Move!" The boy shouted, the bird soon regaining its position in the sky as it then darts towards the Dragonite. Once near it would rear back to expose its talons as they gave off a blue-ish green glow, the bird attempting to swipe at the Dragonite with its own move.

Once near it would rear back to expose its talons as they gave off a blue-ish green glow, the bird attempting to swipe at the Dragonite with its own move. "Wait what!?" Tristen spoke up. Didn't see that one coming. "Dragonite, watch out, here he comes!" Dragonite tried to fly away from the oncoming attack, only for it to get slashed by its own attack. "AARRO!" Dragonite fell out of the sky and slammed upon the battlefield floor. "Arrroo." "Dragonite, can you get up?" Tristen asked. Dragonite tried to sit back up to stand back up, only to fall back flat on the ground. He was hurting way too much after that one. "Dragonite, its okay. Return." He said, recalling the dragon back to the ball. He didn't expect that Mirror Move and it may have costed him. All he had left was Natu. Here goes something... "Natu!" he shouted. "Go!" He tossed out the Pokeball and out came the tiny bird, ready to go. "Natu natu natu!" The Natu looked up, seeing the big looming bird. Tristen looked at the giant bird. He was tempted to Power Swap this bird, but he didn't want to chance it, not with Mirror Move in that Swellow's arsenal. It would accomplish nothing. Guard swap would be a similar situation. His big two play maker moves are rather moot. The boy shook his head again, then thought. What else did this tiny bird have that he might be able to do something with. There was one that came to mind, though even THAT was a risk because of Mirror Move. "Natu! Confuse Ray!" he shouted. "Natu natuuuuu!" The birds eyes started to shine and a flash of light fell down upon the bird.

Leslie narrowed her eyes at the small purple gem she could spy on the Sandshrew. "Eviolite. Interesting." She muttered, quietly spraying Lacuna down with the Full Restore before motioning her to stand across from the Sandshrew. Now, she remembered one thing that a Mawile could do from when they had that minor interdimensional incident. Her future self had Magnet Rise."Magnet Rise, Lacuna. Rise up and use Sweet Scent." She commanded, watching as the Mawile slowly began to go into the air and released a sweet-smelling musk as she did so. hmm, this could be interesting.

SubonicXP Amaranth's next opponent would soon take the stage. She was a blonde hair blue eyed woman wearing a heavy fur coat and hat, despite being on a tropical island. "Tam comrade." She said with a thick accent. "Ready for battle, da?" The woman said with a smile as she withdrew an Ultra Ball. "The next battle will be against Amaranth and Katenka. You may both begin." The ref declared, Katenka wasting no time to throw her ball out onto the ground below, releasing her Beartic into the pit. If it hadn't been for the question that followed, Amaranth would've been asking what on earth was said to her. The accent still made it hard to understand Katenka, however. "I'm ready. Kangaskhan, come!" Quickly throwing a ball over the balcony, she apparently decided to start the same way as before. Feeling quite a bit better than before thanks to the berries, she looked ready to get into the fight again compared to earlier.

The Swellow took the Confuse Ray, the bright flash of light dazzling and disorienting the bird. "Big bird? You okay?" The kid said, concerned for his Pokemon. "You like to flash lights in peoples' eyes? Flash it back Big Bird! Mirror Move!" The kid ordered but his bird was not able to obey the command, instead it decided to execute a Quick Attack...right into the ground. The crowd had a good laugh at this.

The Sandshrew watched as the Mawile rose up and just as the Sweet Scent was about to be emitted its trainer gave an order. "Aww! How pretty! Too bad you have to come back down...Gyro Ball!" She said with a giggle. The Sandshrew would curl up into a ball as the Sweet Scent came down, rapidly spinning in place as it created a vortex to pull in all near it. The Sweet Scent would be inhaled but for right now the Sandshrew would spin, it would have to relax in the aroma later.

"Da, good!" The woman smiled as she watched her bear immediately begin the fight, charging towards the Kangashkan as it prepared to hack and slash away at it with Fury Swipes.

The kid ordered, and this time his bird actually obeyed, the Swellow kicking off the ground and ramming into the Natu in a blink of an eye.

The Sweet Scent would quickly get swept up in the rapidly spinning ball that the Sandshrew had become, eliminating any effectiveness it may have had as a audience pleaser and an aid for the moment. "Fine. Guess I just need to make sure you can take some of what you give. Fairy Wind!" Leslie commanded, her second mouth flipping over her shoulder to snap at the trainer. From her position above the Sandshrew, Lacuna would quickly gather up and blow out a pink wind at the Gyro Ball-ed Sandshrew, aiming to use the vortex as an easy guide for the damaging wind to hit the Ground type.

The bird shrilled out as it was smashed into by the Quick Attack. "Natu! No!" Tristen spoke up. The bird hit the ground and tumbled quite a bit. Unlike Dragonite and Galvantula before it, Natu didn't have that great assault power yet. Sure he had some pretty game changer moves and all, but he usually ended up having to rely on those moves more often than not just for Natu to do his damage. "Natu, can you still go!?" "Natu..." The bird sat back up and got back on its feet, shaking his head, rather its whole body essentially, trying to keep on its feet after taking a rather powerful shot like that. It was up, but really, it didn't need to be rocked like that again. Tristen didn't know what to do at this point. This Swellow screwed up everything with that Mirror Move attack. He took a breath then decided to take the risk. It was confused for right now; there's still the chance this could work, but only a small one. "Natu! Use Power Swap!" he shouted. "Natu!" The bird spoke up, training itself on the Swellow to steal its strength.

Kangaskhan saw the surious, fast paced slashing at once, Beartic charging at her. Meeting it with a charge like her previous battle, she met the fast paced slashes with fast paced punches, using Comet Punch to fight back. Noticing this, Amaranth began to wonder about Kangaskhan's fighting style.

The Fairy Wind would be sucked in by the Sandshrew's Gyro Ball, damaging it as the mouse squealed but it did not stop spinning. "You call that pretty? It was cute but not pretty! Try this on...Swift baby!" The girl giggled. The Sandshrew would continue its spin and send flying a flurry of stars but they did not hit Mawhile, in fact they all missed.
Instead the stars turned around and came down on Mawile from above, attempting to smack her into the spinning ball of death.

Moaned Swellow as it was hit by the Power Swap, the instant loss in strength causing it to lose its loft and fall to the ground and to make matters worse the bird couldn't even get up on its feet thanks to its continued confusion. "My birdie! He broke my birdie!" The kid cried, literally.

The bear rared fiercely as it took the blows in stride, striking back with an upward Slash against the Kangaskhan.

"My birdie! He broke my birdie!" The kid cried, literally. "Natu natu!" The Natu chirped up, feeling a bit more invigorated from its newfound strength. That said, Tristen just looked over towards the kid from across the battlefield. He was crying? This kid was still young, perhaps spoiled, inexperienced in this battle considering he was calling out attacks that weren't their proper names. "Natu, finish this battle. Steel Wing. I think I might need to talk to him over there." Tristen said. "Natu!" While the bird is still in its confusion, Natu teleported up and reappeared above the Swellow, then came down with wings shining bright to finally bring an end to this battle.

The bird fluttered back down toward Tristen's feet, Tristen simply picked the bird up, only to prompt Natu to flutter up to the top of Tristen's head. "Of course." he said. Tristen walked over across the battlefield, heading towards his opponent as he was tending to his fallen Swellow. "You were real good in that battle." Tristen said rather truthfully and, if anything, to console the kid. "You shouldn't really cry like that; you and your Pokemon battled really hard. That's nothing to cry over."

Lacuna would laugh raucously at the failed Swift, almost unable to control herself from the laughter. Which made avoiding the Swift returning to send her flying at the Gyro Ball all but impossible. Now going towards the Sandshrew at high velocity, Lacuna did what came naturally and began to harden her skin with Iron Defense in preparation for this impact. "Nothing is quite as pretty as a shiny piece of armor or weaponry." Leslie told the girl, watching as her Mawile turned to a metallic sheen. This was going to be an interesting collision.
