Sibyl doesn't have a watch, but she makes as if to check one anyway before rolling her eyes at herself. There's a clock across the room; she looks to that instead. "Sure," she says, crossing her legs at the ankles. She's very elegant. "What is it?..."
Her attention is drawn, not to Zac, but to Mika. "If we stopped every time our 'spidey senses'--" she didn't actually make air quotes, but they were obvious in her voice "--went off, we'd never get anything done. We'll begin on time, as planned."
The air starts to grow heavy again, the pressure bearing down on the assembled time-travelers.

Liam snaps out of whatever the ******** kind of tonic-water induced trance he's been in. The soda gun falls from his hands and begins to spurt orange fanta all over the counter. "The ********?!" he asks, turning towards Temperance. "The fukc?!"
He points to Zac. "Was that one of the kids?" he demands, and then his hands whip through the air again, crackling with speed and electricity as he draws power and forms it into a shining ward that he presses onto the bar. The light travels along the bar like power running through a circuit, and then it wraps around each of the patrons in contact with the bar before disappearing.
"Come with me," he says to Temperance, and vaults the bar. He crosses the room towards Sibyl, skirting the rift entirely by chance.
"Sibyl," he says, pushing Zac aside. "We got a problem."
He looks at Temperance. "Tell her what you told me."

A sigh of relief caught in Jamie's throat, choking him. Sibyl had agreed to hear him out a moment longer, giving them all that precious few seconds to try and figure out what to do. On the other hand, the atmosphere grew heavy, oppressive. Time was slipping away from him quicker than he'd thought.
He turned to Shiloh, squeezing his hand and harshly whispering, "We have to do something." What, though, he didn't know. His eyes caught Jeremiah, still tumbling through the void unsaved. There was that for one. And Jamie couldn't help with protection spells, he didn't know any, he'd never been taught. It would probably look just as out of place to add to Temperance's lie. Saying he'd seen the same nondescript somebodies was out of the question.
Still... if all of them were having bad feelings, one after the other lining up to speak to Sibyl, would she give in and listen?
"T-That sounds bad..." he muttered, "Wouldn't it be safer for everyone here to a-assume the worst?"

He supposed he did answer his own question. A low hum as he thought, Marcus wasn't given much chance to dwell on what little he'd learned.
Because Jeremiah was currently trapped in an infinite free fall that was the gaping void in the center of the room.
"...well s**t." He was stunned as he watched it happen, finishing off the tonic water eventually, the pressure began to build. Not just in the room, but in the air, under the skin.
Just like before.
Marcus remained fixed on his seat, tense and his mind racing as his anxiety and worry rose.
Zac's yell was what broke him of his train of thought.
He panicked and looking towards the door-
He felt something click in the back of his head. Like a trigger without the need of his hand. The next thing he knew, a bang with light on a much smaller scale was where he'd been looking, and it caused him to fall directly out of his seat.
Unknowingly, he caused a small explosion by the entryway.
He was suddenly quite terrified of what was going on.
"Almasih eisaa."

Sibyl looks puzzled, and then she looks pissed. Her pretty face screws up around the eyes with offense, and she says, "You think I would--" The very idea that she would ever cause harm to Andromache or its patrons seems to infuriate her, but she's swiftly distracted by Liam's intervention--
and by the explosion of light and sound by the door.
She snatches up the microphone nearest her. "Everyone, remain calm," she says. Her voice is amplified, not by technology but by magic. "Come towards the center of the room. If you've a spell for barriers, throw it. If you've detection, come up by me."
She kneels down to speak to Liam. "Babe, that explosion came from the entryway," she says. "Have you seen Jerry?--He's left his booth. I think we need the key from under the bar."
