The tongue would pull against Rala over Keiko for a bit before letting go, giving up pretty quickly as it tongue treated and whatever owned said tongue fled deeper into the grass as it rustled.

After Keiko regained her senses she would see why the creature fled in such a hurry, a Metagross owned by a certain ex-Snagem floating over head. "You okay, yo?" The trainer asked Keiko.

"Yeah, ran off like a Torchic sprayed with a water bottle, yo." Toren said with a smile. "Wonder why it only ran when Atax came out and not when Rala stepped up to the plate." The man wondered as he recalled his Metagross. "Oh well, don't matter none cuz, you're safe now. What kind of Pokemon has a long tongue though, yo? And why would it attack you?" He continued to ponder as he got up on his bike. "You okay to keep moving?"

Toren wouldn't say anything, instead he chose to push off and begin to ride his bike up onto Route 119, passing through small gorge separating the two routes.

Route 119 was just as pleasant as the last, a nice little zigzagging path through thickets of trees, up a few hills, over some wooden bridges, and all along a pristine river.

The pair would just make it up their first two sets of hills and right before they got to their first wooden bridge a woman dressed in a long sleeved vest and super short shorts came out of nowhere with a lasso clutched in her hand.

"You two! Have you seen a Pokemon with a long tongue anywhere!?" She demanded to know.

"You're contaminated! We must quarantine you!" The woman shrieked as she whipped her lasso out at Keiko, deftly binding her up in it. What is with all the bondage Keiko is going through today?

"Hey! Back off!" Toren shouted as he released Titan, the Empoleon using a Metal Claw (flipper?) to cut through the rope.

"What are you doing!? You have no idea what danger you're putting us all in...unless, you're contaminated too! I must restrain you both!" With that said the woman released two Pokemon, a Breloom and a Cacturne.

"Looks like it's a fight yo." Toren said with a smile.

"Breloom, Sky Uppercut to counter! Cacturne, use Needle Arm on the Empoleon!" The Pokemon Ranger ordered.

As the Heracross closed in the Breloom would wait for the right moment, crotching down in wait. Once near the Pokemon would spring up and uppercut the beetle's horn, hopefully sending it flipping into the air. That said Breloom's hand would sting a bit after that so it didn't make it out unscathed either.

The Cacturne in the mean time would move right away, rushing for the Empoleon, swinging its now glowing spiky arms wildly at the noble penguin who was doing its best to shield its more vulnerable areas with its flippers; its metal body wasn't saving it from these blows.

"Titan, cool it down with an Ice Beam, yo!" Toren ordered, the penguin not having to be told twice as it blasted and froze solid one of the cactus's arms.

The Breloom cried out in pain as the needles bombarded it, its ally Cacturne panicking its self as one of its arms was frozen solid.

With new orders from the Pokemon Ranger the Cacturne would disappear in a flash as Toren ordered a Metal Claw, the cactus Pokemon reappearing behind the penguin as it Sucker Punched it with its frozen arm.

As for Breloom it was ordered to rush Hera and hit it with a Thunder Punch, the Grass type now closing in on the Heracross with an electrical punch.

The Thunderpunch connected by the Breloom would not like the retaliation as it took the Aerial Ace and hard, the poor little mushroom critter succumbing to the attack it just crippled over, knocked out.

By the time Keiko paid attention to Toren and Titan she would see that the Empoleon had taken care of its opponent too, the Cacturne now fully frozen from head to toe. The Pokemon Ranger was defeated.

"No! You both don't know the danger you are putting us all in!" She cried.

"I'm sorry but your Pokemon, they could be infected." The woman explained, Toren just giving Keiko a confused look as if expecting her to know what she was talking about. "Please! Put them back in their Pokeballs immediately!" She continued to plead.
