While the crowd loved the sudden appearance of the clones as they danced around the mists, though Roxie and Muk were less taken back by it and instead amused. "Ordinarily that might slow our beat down but fortunately we got a note up our sleeve to rattle them all at once! Muk, use Sludge Wave!"

With a deep gulp the Muk would begin to rapidly inflate as it built up and stored a vast amount of sludge inside its gut. The sludge wouldn't remain inside for long as Muk puke it all up into the form of a violent wave of sludge which flowed outward from every direction around it with the Pokemon its self at the center. Instead of aiming for just one and hoping for the best why not hit them all at once?

Roxie would smile as the command was giving, the woman strumming a harsh cord before giving her own order. "Acid Armor! Now you see uuus!" She shrieked. Brunor's attack would hit true, Muk grunting in pain, however a split second upon impact the Muk's resistance would give away as it just splattered into soupy goo on the floor, washing away into cracks and crevices as the Poison type used Acid Armor to increase its defense upon impact and then turn into a liquid afterwards. "And now you don't! Where is my bud!?" The gym leader laughed.

"Sitting there and amp-ing up won't win you this battle! We got plenty of rhythm to keep this song going so you better come up with a better plan and quick! Muk, keep chillaxing and hit me up with a Shadow Sneak!" Roxie commanded.

Muk would not reappear after that command, the living glob of sludge remaining somewhere under the stage. However, a towering shadow that belonged to the Pokemon would quickly rising up from behind Brunor and slug it in the back with a ghostly punch. If Muk could just attack from its hiding spot that could be trouble for Terashi, hopefully though he could figure something out.

Roxie would just stand there strumming on her guitar as Brunor chased down the shadow, slashing away at the stage and cutting straight through it to reveal the mostly empty space underneath. The gym leader just smiled as her stage was being trashed, pleased for some reason or another. Eventually Brunor would discover where Muk had been hiding as it slashed open a section of the stage to reveal the sludge Pokemon lying in wait, its Psycho Cut ready to cut into its goopy body.

"Now, Muk! Give it a Giga Drain hug!" Roxie shouted with one loud strum.

Brunor's Psycho Cut would hit true as it went through the creature's body, causing it to moan in pain, however the earlier Acid Armor did help it with the pain thanks to the Defense increase, though mostly balancing things out thanks to his foe's Swords Dance. However, while Brunor managed to hit it did leave the Gallade wide open as Muk expanded its malleable body and arms out wide, wrapping its arms around Brunor several times before pulling it into an embrace to allow some of its body its self to wrap around him like a blanket.

With Brunor secured the Muk would rise back up on top of the stage, its body giving off a green aura as it started to drain the life force out of its captured prey.

The Bulldoze would shake the Muk to its core, causing it to cry out in pain, its grip on Brunor completely dropping as it let go of the Gallade so that it could steady its self. Once released the living pile of sludge would shoot the Psychic and exhausted glare. While it had regained some health from its Giga Drain that Bulldoze was super effective and did not feel so good.

"Harsh but I have a feeling your Gallade isn't hanging around for the next verse. Shadow Punch!" Roxie commanded.

With much glee the Muk would throw a punch directly at the Gallade, its arm extending far out but stopping several feet short of contact with Brunor, instead a shadowy version of its fist shot out of it and extended the rest of the way to slug the Psychic in the jaw.

"A Klefki? It might by Steel but we're gonna rock that Fairy's world!" Roxie shouted. "Muk, use Pain Split!" She commanded, strumming a 'spooky' beat on her guitar to set the atmosphere for Muk's next attack.

Let out a cry the Muk would throw its hands up and fire off from the center of its forehead a beam of red light which would threaten to hit Klefki. Upon contact the two would briefly be connected 'spiritually', their life force combined. Then all the sudden Muk would slice the beam of energy in half with a 'karate chop' and Klefki would find its self far more exhausted than it was before while Muk was a little more invigorated as their healthy was equalized. Terashi needed to put down this Muk already, it had hung around for too long.

The quick reaction to Muk's Pain Split would save Kefka and prevent Roxie from giving her sludge creature even more staying power as the Heal Block negated the Pain Split entirely, the Muk left sitting there with a confused look on its face as it was denied the energy boost it had expected.

"Ouch, you took us out of rhythm! I guess we need to go into the final verse! Muk, hock one up, use Mud Bomb!" Roxie ordered.

After making a choking noise the Muk would literally 'hock up' a goopy ball of brown mud, spitting it at Kefka with violently and intentionally explosive force. It may have a Light Screen up but they intended to do what damage they could and obscure the Fairy's vision with a dirty coat of mud.

The Psychic power would bear down on Muk's mind, causing it intense pain as it froze briefly before gripping its 'head' in agony with both hands, swaying and wailing in pain before it passed out completely, the sentient goop losing most of its form as it reverted to a puddle of poisonous slop on the stage. The crowd would gasp as the Muk was felled, having convinced themselves that Terashi had lost this battle a long time ago.

"Nice! Not everyone makes it to the third and final verse of this beat! Let's hope you can still keep up as we turn up the tempo!" Roxie declared after returning Muk. Before sending out another Pokemon she began to rock out a harsh, loud, and very fast song with her band mates, the crowd going absolutely wild as the lights dimmed further and lasers began to flash across the stage. Reaching up to the top of her bass guitar she would thumb a button on the top which would cause a compartment to open at the bottom of it which launched a Pokeball out of the guitar and onto the field.

"Pede!" Roared the Scolipede as it appeared from the ball.

"It's down to the wire now! Let's see if we can't make this a bombastic finish! Scolipede, Screech!" Roxie commanded.

With a thrash of the lower section of its body followed by stretching up high the Scolipede would let out an ear piercing Screech to lower the Klefki's defense. The crowd however seemed to actually enjoy the horrible noise. Weird people.
