and so it begins. the start of his very first pokemon journey. Kyouji knew more or less how to use pokemon in battle, thanks to the fight with Shinx and the Rhyhorn. Still, that whole fight was very scary and more or less traumatizing to him. As the trainers were called up one by one to get their starters along with being assigned to a team as well as guide, it made him think if he could ever live up to either his father, mother, or even that strange man who he saw on TV just clearing through the leagues and challenging champions like they were just random trainers off the streets. Either way, Kyouji aspired to be like them all. These guys were really great gym leaders so he definitely had to bring his A-game. as one of the people went and got their starter, it seemed Kyouji was up next. Well, here goes. Kyouji would walk up on stage and would look at the table where people had chosen their pokemon and some had even been left. Just like the Cyndaquil that was scurrying around, Kyouji looked through the selections and would sigh as he would pick the pokeball up. Releasing whatever was inside, it turned out to be Piplup. A water type penguin pokemon. The small pokemon was happily jumping at the sight of Kyouji as the little blue pokemon was chosen. Heheh, Hello there. My name's Kyouji. Let's be best of friends. He said to Piplup as in response the pokemon would puff up his chest in pride with a confident look of assurance. Now for the stage introduction. With the microphone in hand, he let off a sigh. Uhh... Hi everyone. M-my name's Kyouji Kuzunoha. I'm from New Bark City in the Johto Region, living with my aunt... Uhh, I can't wait to be a Pokemon Detective and help the people in need. Kyouji said nervously before stepping down while being given applause and cheers.
Hiding out from the rest of the crowds, the young lad decided to just sit back and somewhat list to what was going on. He'd found himself swept up by the metaphorical current that was present in the air. It seemed that a bunch of people were all gathering here to set out and traverse around these foreign lands. While it sounded interesting to some, he was far more focused on his own thoughts about his own ambitions.
He had wrote down that he wanted to go find his siblings, which might have been a bit different than what other kids wanted. No, it was very different, but did he care? Not at all. He just wanted to get back together with them and maybe, just maybe one of them would have been able to help him get out of here and get back on track. He had to at least be hopeful of that possibility.
Hearing a very faint growl, followed by something tugging on his sleeve, his eyes narrowed. Turning to face what was beside him, he looked at the somewhat familiar Pokemon that was beside him. It wasn't one of his own, considering he only had Kenshi, but he had seen one before back in Orre. Turning the volume down on his cassette player. "Ya want sumthin'?" He asked somewhat softly, uncertain of what the little Pokemon wanted from him.
As their paw left his sleeve, he could see what looked to be some sticky substance left upon him. Looking at the Pokemon for a bit, he was quick to touch the substance and then sniff his fingers. It was a strangely sweet aroma, but he didn't recognize it at all. Glancing back at the Pokemon, he watched as they began to smear the sweet smelling substance all along the side of the tent. "Wut'rya doin'?" He asked them as his Aron started to watched the very questionable scene unfolding.
Alright, this kid wasn't that useless if he at least knew what a pokeball was, even going as far as to show off a rather beat up looking greatball that must have been where his Aron spent some of it's time. Shrugging her shoulders, she just accepted that enough for her right now. Besides, it seemed like something else was going on as Caius was approached by another unknown face. Raising her eyebrow as she watched the two converse, Ari didn't pay attention to what they could be talking about until the older man was standing up from his table and pulling on the backpack that his Glaceon had been very protective over.
”Well, it seems that a trip to the Lab in unnecessary, however, young trainers, would you like to see it anyhow before the main festivities?”
Slowly tilting her head when she picked up on 'main festivities', Ari didn't like the idea of going to somewhere more crowded. Wasn't this town already going to the extreme by this whole festival setup? But, she couldn't help her gaze from slowly drifting over to eye the Citran Noctowl with a gleam of excitement at the possibility of getting to examine the regional Pokemon closer when they would be taken over to the Lab. "Yeah, okay. Let's go." She answered with a nonchalant shrug of her shoulders.
Having to make sure that Newt was safely tucked into her jacket, Ari looked back to Ryouta but didn't say anything to the boy as she approached the Ice / Ghost type Pokemon. She stopped to stand before it, hands folding behind her as she waited for Caius to instruct the two kids on how to carefully get situated onto the bird without hurting it.
Time Skip
Their trip to the Lab had been a short one, but Ari didn't care much about that anyways. After the flight over, she was trying to jot down in her brain everything about the Pokemon that had carried them over to the building. It wasn't until she was sure she had everything that she needed, that she finally began to fill in any blanks that Caius left out as he began to explain the information that Ryouta would have needed about the Pokemon Lab.
As the Gym Leader lead them towards where the main event was taking place, the three went on their separate ways. That was fine with Ari, she didn't need to be sticking with a group of men anyway. But, now it left her maneuvering around others as the previous Champion - another freakin' man - introduced himself to the crowd and began to distribute out Pokemon to some of the Trainers. Ari had taken a glance at the choices, but she really had little interest in what was being narrowed down. She'd stick with Newt for now, maybe she'd be lucky enough to catch something more eye catching to her once she began her travels.
Wandering her way slowly over to a tent, she raised an eyebrow as she watched some other Trainers inside filling out forms. When she asked one of the event coordinators what the forms were for, she was informed that they were to be filled out by Trainers who had no experience with the harsh weathers and the dangers of Citra.
Blue eyes rolling, she was about to ignore that tent completely. She didn't need to fill out some stupid form, she could do this on her own. But, the coordinator that she was talking with pointed out to Ari that if she didn't, there were chances that they wouldn't let her out of Tosach Town. So, with a small growl of frustration she stomped inside of the tent to fill the form out. The whole entire time she was thinking to herself, 'this is so stupid!'
With that nonsense out of the way, Ari stepped out of the tent, eyes squinting as she looked up at the stage. A boy was speaking, introducing himself and explaining that he'd come from Johto. At least she wasn't up there.
Paying more attention to what was going on up ahead, Ari was making a fool of herself as she stumbled straight into another figure. A small 'ompf!' came from the thirteen year old as she almost went stumbling right back onto her a**. "C'mon, you can't go standing in-!" She began to yell, but as she finally took in the appearance of the slightly taller girl, she could see the look of what could be panic on her face. Was something wrong? Holding her tongue from whatever else she was about to yell at the other girl, Ari huffed and crossed her arms. "Hey, what's wrong?"

"Teddy! Teddy?!" no matter how she called into the crowd her young Teddiursa didn't respond, Bea fluttered overhead around the tent catching sight of the furry troublemaker smearing honey along the side of the tent.
Tempted to fly down and attack the little bear, to scold it for it's actions the butterfly Pokemon hear a commotion, a tiny noise of surprise from her trainer followed by a raised voice sending a flurry of colorful wings flying over as Himeko turned to face the other and the situation seemed less confrontational. For now she fluttered close overhead of her trainer, Himeko unaware of her return.
For the brunette however the yelling hadn't seemed to get a reaction outside of wide eyed confusion and a quick step back. Too lost in her own concern for her Pokemon replying didn't really seem to cross her mind at first even when the other girl had asked what was wrong.
A quick prod from Russ to the top of her head seemed to jump start her brain, less anxiety visible in her features but worry still riddling her. "My...My Teddiursa wandered off, I'm not sure which way he went and I can't really tel---" a cry from behind alerting her finally to Bea's presence. "Bea?! Did you see him?!" she spun suddenly as the Beautifly nodded moving around the side of the tent.
Himeko was quick to move after her Pokemon spinning around once to look at the girl she had just bumped into. "Sorry about earlier! I really need to find Teddy!" she turned back rounding the corner of the nearby tent. Sure enough there was Teddy causing trouble, making things sticky.
"Teddy! Look what you've done now!" Himeko began to scold the bear, it's attention turning to her as she ran over grabbing the little creature before it could make more of a mess. "You shouldn't make trouble for me, what am I going to do with you..." a groan left her eyes finally traveling over to the strange boy with the Aron nearby. Her head tilted slightly, the little bear in her arms doing the same mimicking her actions as Bea let out another impatient noise.
"Ah, right! Sorry about Teddy, he's still just a baby." the little bear looked up at her, wide eyes trying to look cute, to appeal to it's trainer. Himeko however pulled a Pokeball from her pocket. "A baby who belongs in his Pokeball." she added, a flash of red light and a whine of protest leaving the Teddiursa as she pocketed it's ball again with a sigh, Russ scrambling from atop her head to her shoulder now.

Well, that just happened... How are the older people just so calm and relaxed when talking to a big crowd like that? Kyouji asked, as he stepped out of the tent. Looking at his trainer license and badge case, he somewhat smiled. Pokemon trainer, huh? Bet mom would flip about this... yeah. Kyouji muttered with a sad sigh. Soon enough Byakko the Shinx came out of his pokeball, rubbing his cheek against Kyouji's leg. Kyouji got down to pet his small fuzzy head as Byakko enjoyed it. That was until Piplup also released himself and would jump up asking for pets too. Smiling, he'd pet the two. Aren't you guys supposed to come out when I call you? He would ask the two. They didn't answer and just kept cuddling. Seth and Leah, huh? Wonder what they're like... hm? Kyouji looked over, and saw three other kids around the same age as them. Two girls and one boy. Shrugging a bit, Kyouji returned the two pokemon back to their balls and would approach the three. Hey guys, what's up? What's that sticky thing on the tent? Kyouji asked, seeing the blob of honey.
Ugh..there was way too many people here, being around these large crowds was bound to set off her anxiety. Leah couldn't wait for any announcements, so she began to tiptoe and squeeze through people to move towards the back, however she stopped in place when she heard a boy speaking over the mic. Turning around and peering up, she saw him, watching as he spoke pretty nervously. The fact he even had the courage to step up there and talk about himself..she gave him mad props for that. What intrigued her most, was the fact he wanted to be a Pokemon detective. She wondered how good he could be on such a skill set..she could really use a great detective to find her missing villainous parents. Maybe..he could help one day? When his skills were better, per say. Since he was aiming for that! Although, he didn't know her, she didn't know him. And she felt too weirded out to meet by asking something like that sooo, yeah no it wasn't going to happen. Andddd now that he was finished, time to dip away from the crowds of people.
Leah managed to squish her way through, gazing around, just taking in all of the gorgeous views and happy people talking amonst themselves. Peanut poked her head outside the bookbag, seeing a trainer leaning against the wall. He didn't seem to be with anyone, so she took her chance to give company, and without Leah's consent for the most part. Hopping out of the bag, she dashed towards Seth, clinging onto his leg. For whatever reason, she seemed to like him. It took a few moments of Leah's gazing to realize Peanut wasn't at her side, or in her bag. Crap, where did she go??? She's always running off somewhere. "Peanut?? Where'd you go??" She called out, beginning to worry when out of the corner of her eye, she saw her clinging to another trainers leg. She ran up to him, quickly bowing in apology. "I'm so sorry! I hope she didn't bother you." Reaching down, she picked the pachirisu up and back in the bag before staring into his eyes. "Whoaa..um..hi there! What's your name?" She questioned, he was certainly quite the handsome looker. Anddd like this always happens, Hades popped out of his ball with no warning, the gengar appearing creepily behind Set with his tongue hanging out trying to poke him with it. He was a prankster, and a damn sneaky one at that. Leah almost went white in the face watching that take place, "Hades, get over here now! Don't you dare!" She spoke sternly, but he wasn't giving in to his pranking ways.

Seth paced around a bit as he waited. He never was one to sit still for very long. That said he wasn't being impatient, he just liked to move around and keep the blood pumping. The rare occasions where he would sit still for long periods of time would be if he was asleep or gazing at the stars. He wondered about the trainers that were assigned to him. How would they get along? And not just them with him, what if they didn't get along with each other and Seth would have to break up fights all the time? He wasn't sure he knew how to do that. With his first time as guide trainer, there came a lot of responsibilities which only now really dawned on him. He was confident with his Pokemon knowledge, but he never had to watch over trainers and there Pokemon before.
He sighed a bit and looked at the bag that was leaning against a tree. He had already dried where needed and packed his tent since he was up early. That was a standard for him. Get up early, eat something, clear dew of the tent if applicable and pack up to move on. Seth looked around once more if he could see the trainers he was supposed to guide but they still seemed to be elsewhere so he returned to the wall. He was all for giving people the time to go at their own pace. Though if they weren't here yet in a few hours he would have to go actively search for them. The male took out a pokeball and though he preferred not to bother Noct at daytime he could now really use their eye sight. Of course it was unrivaled by night, but they still had keen eyes even on daytime.
When he felt something cling around his leg however he looked down and blinked a bit at seeing the unknown Pachirisu clinging to him. "Why hello there." he said and chuckled after the initial surprise. It didn't take long for a girl to come running up to him and taking the Pachrisu off his leg though. "It's alright, nothing wrong with a hug now and then." he said his hand up slightly as she didn't need to apologize. But when he had a better look at her she looked familiar. The young man thought to himself for a moment his hand on his chin until he was interrupted by another call of the young lady. It caused him to turn around and face the Gengar behind him. He knew well their pranking ways but it seemed the pokemon wasn't doing anything now.
"Hello to you too. Let's keep that sticky tongue where it is now huh?" he joked and grinned at the Ghost pokemon. He liked them, they had humor, but he never did get to adding one in his team. With that he turned back to the girl and then he remembered where he had seen her. "Oi, your name wouldn't happen to be Leah would it?" he asked and looked at her. She looked like the picture but then one could never be to certain. "My name is Seth, I'm the guide for Leah and Kyouji. Oh right." he said after a small pause once introducing himself, he took out a paper and a pen, scribbled quickly and he looked at the pokeball in his hand and remembered he was about to let it search for his wayward charges. Though only one now it seemed. Seth threw the pokeball in the air and his Noctowl appeared with a cry before looking around and then upon seeing the trainer dived down quickly, landed and rubbed up on Seth.
The young man smiled and petted the bird's head. "It's good to see you too my friend." he said to his first and loyal partner pokemon. Noct had been with him since he was a small kid after all. "I'm sorry to bother you while it is day out, but I need your help. Could you find this person for me?" he asked as he picked up the cards he was given to identify his protegees and showed the one of Kyouji to Noct. Noct looked at the card and then took it in his beak before nodding and kicking off commencing his search from the sky. "That should do it." he said and smiled turning back to Leah. "Sorry about that, I was in the middle of something and got all distracted." he admitted and would talk with Leah while they waited for Noct to find Kyouji. Noct flew through the sky above the plaza, his eyes scanning the people below him. After a moment he noticed the trainer with a few other people around the tents and made his descent landing near the boy and chirped holding up the card with note that Seth gave him.
'If you are looking for your group, follow the Noctowl. We'll be waiting for you! I look forward to our journey together, Kyouji.' it read and Noctowl was set to guide the boy when ready.

Watching as the blonde gave the region his introduction after taking the Elekid, Dylan and the crowd began to clap. This guy was a bit of an interesting one. Making one's own path as a goal? That was pretty deep and quite intriguing. To hear that someone who had to be ten years younger than himself was up to such a curious adventure brought a smile to his face.
When Preston walked up, he was about to head over to the microphone until someine else stepped onto the stage. Quick to act, the new boy immediately chose a Pokemon took it and introduced themselves to the crowd. Stating he came from Johto and wanted to be a detective, the crowd began to clap in an uproar. "Now that one is a real go getter," Dylan stated as the crowd calmed down a little.
Not too long after that, the Cyndaquil that was on stage began to squeal as a familar face stepped onto the stage. As it climbed up him, it held up a Pokeball to his face. This one belonged to someone, but it was reacting to...what was her face? Qiyana? Right? Last time he saw her, she was quite a bit younger. Rather silently telling him that the Pokemon belonged to someone starting that day, he picked them up and handed the little one to her. "Just make sure they don't lose this one again and maybe get them to go introduce themselves to the crowd," He said in something of a whisper, right before she left.
After that, they were now down to just two Pokemon left. With Smoochum and Chespin still on stage, he sighed. "Alright! We still have these two Pokemon! If no one comes up here, I'm going to call out some names from the registry," He announced, looking around the crowd. There had to be someone who would take them, right?

Quiet as he received no response from the Pokemon, he wasn't sure what to do. This little one wasn't his Pokemon, so he didn't do anything. Instead he merely watched them for the time being. Teddiursa, wasn't it? Yeah, that was whar it was called! They were the basic stage of Ursaring, right? The resemblance was definitely there, but he didn't know a lot about them.
Before long, there was a loud sound from above. Lifting his head up, he could see an unfamiliar bug type flying around. The colors on its wings were rather pretty, but he wasn't too interested in it. No, he had something else to focus on right then. His eyes darting to the Teddiursa, he felt somewhat wary of those sticky paws it had.
Soon enough a brunette had arrived and begun to scold her Pokemon. Apologizing for their actions, he gave her a small nod. Not making much noise, he merely sat there and watched her from under tinted lenses for a bit. "Hmmm... It wazznta big'un," He told her somewhat softly, before he began to catch sight of someone familiar not far behind her.
Ah! It was that red headed girl! Now what was her name again? Did she even tell him? Seemed like all she ever did when they met was ask him odd questions and react to things he said. Was she with this girl right then? Her friend perhaps? Friends, huh? That was a novel concept...
When another person joined the gathering, he could feel himself becoming a bit nervous. Were they going to react the same as those others from before? Thinking about it for a bit, there was a rather loud growl that practically snapped him out of it. Looking to his side, he found himself staring at the Aron who was glaring at the other kids. Was he annoyed by them or was he wanting a fight...?

It seemed that she must have lost the older woman, glancing back to see that she had either decided not to follow after Gray and Alpha, or the crowd had split them up. Oh well, her Lycanroc was easy to spot and easily gained attention from his actions. Reaching down to gently brush her fingers along his fur, Gray shot a glance towards the stage as she made her way over towards one of the tents. She might as well get herself signed up. While she was sure she could handle going off on her own, she was more worried about her large pup running off and getting himself into a situation where she wouldn't be sure how to get them out of it.
Glancing down at Alpha, she couldn't help give an eyeroll at his appearance. Tongue lolling out of the side of his mouth, head twisting this way and that as he tried to take in everything going on around them. A majority of his attention kept jumping towards the man standing on the stage, watching the different Trainers who made their way up there to take one of the starter Pokemon being distributed out.
While Gray ducked into the tent so that she could get herself signed up, Alpha sat outside of the tent. He wasn't bothered by that, enjoying the random pats he got from people who passed by. Enjoying the attention, he was content with watching what was going on up on the stage.
Upon hearing a familiar voice, the Lycanroc perked up when he watched Preston introduced himself and his new Pokemon. Watching him carefully as the boy and the Elekid climbed down from the stage, Alpha took a glance back towards the tent, before he rose up onto his feets. Before Gray was even stepping foot outside, her Pokemon was already using his nose to sniff out the blonde male. Catching sight of his tail as he moved away from her, the woman let out a groan of exasperation. This is probably why she should have returned him to his pokeball, his constant wandering off making her sometimes regret allowing him out. "Alpha!" She called after the Lycanroc as she quickly followed after him.
Making it to the group before his Trainer, the Lycanroc quickly went over to greet Preston and Scrap as if they were old friends being reunited. Bouncing at the male's feet, Alpha gave the Tyrogue a couple of very slobbery licks before he finally seemed to take notice of the unfamiliar faces that were accompanying Preston and his Pokemon. Quickly, Alpha moved over to Usui first, taking deep sniffs of the red headed male before moving over to inspect his sister next. Approving of the two of them rather quickly, Alpha laid his chin down onto Kana's lap, giving soft whines as he begged to be petted.
Approaching the scene, Gray gave a long sigh, her hands coming to rest on her hips. She looked to Preston first, giving the boy a nod in silent greeting before she looked to where her Pokemon was impatiently waiting for Kana to pet him. "Excuse him, Alpha sometimes doesn't understand personal space." She informed them, receiving just a short glance from her Lycanroc. He clearly didn't assume he was in trouble for his behavior, probably thinking that he would be quickly forgiven by acting cute.

Arys put a hand up against the wall of the tent after disembarking the stage. As more trainers introduced themselves on the microphone, Arys gave a sigh. Looking down to the two pokémon chattering with each other, he gave a smile and take another look around the tent, which at this point was filling with people wanting to observe the ceremonies. A few passing members of the audience patted him on the back and shouted words of encouragement, earning nervous nods and gestures from the teen.
His Mawile and the newly-enrolled Magby excitedly followed, struggling momentarily to push past the crowd. Arys noticed and brought them back to the side of the stage. Kneeling down, he patted them both on the head and shared a laugh with them. "You know - Jaws, Ignis? Perhaps you guys should rest in these..." he began, pulling from his pockets two poké balls. The Magby tilted his head at the new nickname but gave a small smile. He looked over at Jaws, who looked a little pensive at the idea of going into a poké ball. "It's just temporary, Jaws, promise," Arys began, turning the dial-meets-button at the front of the device and recalling Ignis inside via a flash of blue energy. Pocketing the capsule, he returned to Jaws: "just until we're around less people. Gives you a chance to rest, too. Okay?" After a hesitant but defeated nod, Arys drew Mawile into the second poké ball.
Arys stood up and gave straightened his hat, looking over to see the guide trainers start to move and look for their teams. Arys looked up as Dylan announced the remaining starters available for grabs. Arys gave a smile to the two remaining as a sign of good luck, and noticed Hayate waiting by the stage as well. Arys walked over and gave a cough. "Hello again; sorry for walking off earlier. Guess I lost you in the excitement and fond myself signed up as a trainer. I guess I'm on your team, then? Do you know who else?"
For a stranger, this person was rather kind and generous. Were people always like that? But Titanya couldn’t complain considering that the woman made sure the brunette was proper and in good health before drifting off to the stores. It felt as if she had been swept up by this “gym leader’s” energy. But riding with the flow didn’t mean Titanya would stop thinking for herself. Learning that there were different varieties of Gyms in the region was a real surprise. Honestly, it was like this green-eyed girl popped out of the ground without a single trace of Pokemon knowledge. This really was going to be a long journey for the two.
’Are all Gym Leaders like this?’ The thought was quietly pondered to herself as the two went around on a shopping spree. Well, “going out with a random stranger to shop for clothes” was certainly going to be one item written on her Strangest Experience list. But hey! This was an experience she could only experience right now! What was wrong with seeing how things went? Absolutely nothing! And it would seem to pan out in the end as Qiyanna introduced her to some Pokemon 101. They talked about Gym Leaders, Pokemon, the journey that awaited her… ”Wow! This is a lot to take in.” She placed a hand on the side of her head and looked like she could succumb from the sheer amount of Pokemon knowledge. ”I’m okay! I’m okay really. I just didn’t think there was more to this Pokemon Journey.” She awkwardly smiled towards herself after realizing that she had grown under a rock nearly her entire life.
When the girls transitioned over to the town’s cafe, an announcement rang around. ”I don’t even know if I lost him...her...oh I don’t know their gender or if they even have one.” Titanya kept looking around but, try as she might, there was no Pokeball to be seen. ”I’m not used to this whole Pokemon business. I don’t even remember getting my starter.” As much as she would make some excuse for her airhead-like behavior, the brunette couldn’t even recall which starter she chose.
Speaking of this lost Cyndaquil, somehow it had wandered towards the center of the hubbub. Who knows how it got there but even as Titanya slowly made her way to the stage, she wouldn’t have recognized the small mouse-like creature as her Pokemon partner. She walked with a completely dumbfounded expression and waited for something to happen. Miraculously, a green-haired male approached the two (before she could get far) and dumped a Pokemon into the Gym Leader’s hands. Her attention shifted back to the copper skinned woman as they began to give Tita a lecture. At the end of that light scold her vision shifted down to the “fire-type” Pokemon.
”This sounds like a lot of responsibility. Maybe I’m not cut out to be a Trainer.” She sounded completely confident in her words as she threw the Pokeball up into the air in a repetitive motion. Cyndaquil seemed intrigued by the action as it followed the ball’s trajectory. ”And then maybe I am? Who knows what the journey is gonna bring!” Now the brunette sounded more chipper as the pair followed after the Gym Leader.
”Say Qiyanna, do Gym Leaders normally guide new Trainers? It sounds like your job is a lot of work and has a TON of responsibility. You sure you shouldn’t go back to your Gym and, oh I don’t know, do Gym stuff?” Qiyanna had mentioned that Gyms were a place to fight and earn a badge. Wait...how was that too different from a regular Gym? If you trained and worked out there then it sure sounded like the place she frequently in January for her New Year’s resolution. Not like she ever accomplished any of those goals but at least she tried. But putting that to the side Titanya continued to follow the bright woman around town.

Gengar was clearly not listening to his trainer, he seemed to be completely untrained. Hades laughed in response to Seth quite histarically after a few moments had passed. Geng geng geng!! Closing his tongue into his mouth, he simply floated behind Leah. Usually when he popped himself out, he did not want to be returned to the ball. He would return himself, and that's how he rolled about it, which is why Leah was allowing him to stay out, with a much heavy sigh to his dismay. Leah's sigh was interrupted when Seth brought up the name Leah, how did he know??? "Snap crackle pop, how did you know my name?? Are you one of those psychics??" She questioned, until he brought up he was looking for Kyuji and Leah for his team. That other name sounded familiar..wasn't he just on stage a moment ago? "That's mee! Ohhh, it's nice to meetcha' Seth!!" She held a hand out to shake with him but would shake with both hands wildly, she liked him already! It turned out perfect that he would be the guide!
Leah watched as he released his noctowl, sending the little birdy off with a note. You could tell the love his pokemon had for him and vice versa, it was very heart warming! Peanut popped out of the bookbag at the sight of Hades, hopping out and started playing with him, chasing after one another. She kept trying to smack him with his bottle, but he was quicker. Once Seth had finished sending out the note, Leah smiled. "No worries! This is sooo exciting!! What kind of pokemon do you got???" She became really excited at the very question, propping her hands to her face and leaning forward in anticipation.

How quaint. Kyouji ended up being that person that brought the awkward silence in the group. As soon as he came in, he realized the group went quiet. At that point, Kyouji wondered if jeed should just go. He's already the awkward guy there, so why not? That was, until a Noctowl came over and was shouting in his language to Kyouji. Apparently he's had a note on it's talon. It said to follow the direction towards where the group is at. At first he was actually about to go, but that was before he heard the low growl of the Aron that was next to the brown haired kid. By the look of the kid who was his trainer, it seemed he was also taken aback by the act. Most likely the two were somewhat nervous around Kyouji being the new guy here. Um.. Seth's Noctowl? Can you go over and tell them I'm outside the tent? I might have to do something real quick. Kyouji told the Noctowl. He would've went, until his overly prideful Piplup summoned himself out and stood out ready with an angry look towards the Aron. What are you doing!? Don't just antagonize somebody you don't know! That's very rude! He said to Piplup. But he seemed to have not cared, as he was ready to make a move. Now Kyouji himself was getting nervous. I swear, what am I gonna do with you? Hey um... wanna have a quick match against your Aron? He asked the kid. I'm Kyouji, by the way. Kuzunoha Kyouji. He introduced himself. If not, he would just return Piplup and that'll be it.
It took a little prodding from the Paras seated on the top of her head for the girl to finally answer, telling Ari that her Teddiursa had wandered off. Frowning, Ari crossed her arms. Part of her almost wanted to remind this girl the responsibility of keeping track of her Pokemon, but, the other girl already seemed troubled with noticing the loss of her Teddiursa. She shouldn't worsen it by scolding the girl. Opening her mouth to offer to help her find her missing Pokemon, Ari was cut off before the words could come out of her mouth, being apologized to before she turned and rounded the corner of the nearby tent.
Shutting her mouth as the girl moved from her view, Ari could have just.. stayed there, but instead, she decided to still help. Arms dropping at her sides, the red head shared a look with her Snivy before following after the brown haired female.
Moving around the corner of the tent, it appeared that the Teddiursa hadn't wandered off too far. Claws covered with some sort of sticky substance, he seemed to have been wiping it all over the tent. Making a face in disgust, Ari looked past the reunited trainer and her companion to spot a familiar face. She'd never gotten the boy's name, but part of her had never been interested to receive it after finding out just how utterly stupid he was when it came to simple things that Trainers their age should have known by now.
Rolling her eyes as she looked away from him, Ari looked back to the girl as she put her Teddiursa back into his pokeball. Well, at least hopefully that would stop him from wandering away from his Trainer. "Does he do that often?" She found herself asking the other girl, as she moved just a little closer to the others.
A small group like this was fine with her, besides, maybe she'd be lucky and the boy and his Aron would leave. But, then another boy was walking over, questioning the mess that the bear Pokemon had wiped all over the tent. Blue eyes shot him a look, but Ari didn't bother to answer his question. Scooting himself forward a tiny inch, Newt peered down at the Aron as the Steel Pokemon began to growl at the group. Was he not thrilled about the small gathering that had formed, or was he attempting to pick a fight with someone?
If it was the latter, he was in luck, as the new arrival brought with him a Piplup who seemed eager to accept the Aron's challenge. While it didn't involve her, and she didn't much care for any of these Trainers or their Pokemon, she did want to see how their two Pokemon fared in a battle. Shrugging her shoulders, she took a small step back, watching to see if the boy with the strange accent would accept the battle or not.
