Description: My favorite use of red + green together has always been a tradition plaid so using that as my jumping off point my brain immediately thought of 1. school girl chic and 2. scottish kilts? So this outfit is basically my attempt at a marriage of those two ideas in a going on a cool college field trip kinda way.
Pictured here is my model taking a scroll through some scenic castle ruins as a part of her walking tour of the highlands! For the background I knew I wanted something more neutral so the jacket would pop so I opted for a some pretty fantasy ruins combined with a more pastoral grassy foreground to make it feel like a nature-based tourist stop. I also liked how the funky colors of the map managed to pull the plaid pattern out of the picture more.
As for the outfit, I kind of enjoyed how hard the coat is to layer with most clothing items? It definitely made getting it right feel very satisfying, and I'm pleased about the stylish turtleneck I was able to fit in as it cut the neckline into a cuter softer shape. For the bottoms I could not find a long plaid kilt like I was originally envisioning but the miniskirt with ripped tights combo is very Talia and the skirt had the perfect amount of yellow to tie all the pieces of the outfit together.
For the accessories I opted for neutral browns and warm black tones again so the jacket would really stand out and I am proud of the chic and constructed yet punk vibe the final look gives!

The Season of Sword and Sorrow
Designer: Haji Demon Model: Maritza
Description
In tumultuous times, people look for the return of the legendary dragon warrior. He was supposed to be reincarnated in time of China's greatest need and establish centuries of peace. To their surprise, the reincarnation is a woman! Jun's fame as an undefeated warrior, brilliant mind and great artist spread like wildfire, she invented her own martial arts style of gentle water roaring dragon and established a school. The peace that was promised didnt come from conquest, but from education and inner strength
I was mostly inspired by Xuanhuan novel covers, tried to give it that legendary figure/ larger than life look. I am not certain if the lighting was the best choice, but I liked how it looks like an old book cover with it. I really like how I was able to layer the water-dragons with 2 different colors. Coat was tough to work with though. Mostly cause Its green and green has so many shades that its hard to find matching stuff. Like even with pine scheme itself the colors wont always match properly, so I gave up on matching things with coat and worked with colors that would enhance the coat. I also dont like that I ended up covering most of the cute hat
════ ⋆★⋆ ════ ╰┈➤Status: Complete ╰┈➤Designer: smol bab ╰┈➤Theme: Is This a Form of Torture? ╰┈➤Model: Amren
════ ⋆★⋆ ════ ╰┈➤Title: Same place as usual? ╰┈➤Description: I'm sure this was a weird prompt for everyone but.. I think I actually like this jacket. It would be better if there were more sleeve arm mods that could go with that color but I digress. I first thought about covering up the majority of the coat with a shawl or poncho but ultimately I decided it would be the forefront of the design instead. In this setting Amren is waiting on her date, they meet up in the same place as always. She's standing with her coffee and croissant ready to share with her lover. Honestly the first thing I thought of was watermelon when I saw this color scheme so that's what I decided to build off of. When you look up these red and green colors obviously two things pop up, christmas and watermelon items. Building this look I just decided it would be a more eccentric style, her cute little beanie, ripped tights, watermelon purse, even some cute boots. I felt like the colors didn't work the best with her skintone but I couldn't find a color I would like with them. The tights, gloves, and scarf are offblack so I could atleast incorporate her hair color and even it out a bit. I think the plaid scarf really brings a bit more life and texture into it, I also just love the watermelon bag in general. I don't have much more to say about this look, thank you for the challenge. ❤

"Little Storms"
Lulu Designer - ICLite
Desc This jacket was certainly,,, interesting to work with. Originally I was lost, debating between an autumnal look or a festive one, however, I realized just how similar the jacket looked to a children's raincoat! oversized and boxy as if you haven't grown into it, I've put Lulu in an outfit entirely different than what you'd expect her in! The whole theme was more childish and silly, instead of going for a realistic type of scenery and instead opting for simpler, cuter backgrounds to compliment her. the outfit itself is meant to look oversized, with a large hat over large earrings, shorts barely visible out of the raincoat, and colourful bandaids used as the finishing touch. not forgetting to mention the adorable Stormcloud bag, I almost want one for myself!

Challenge #5 Is This A Form Of Torture? Feedback
Top Designer: Haji Demon — Maritza • All of the Judges were stunned, and left damn near speechless. Your approach was completely unique, and you hit this out of the park. What you did with the Pine Peacoat was completely transformative. Maritza has never looked this great! • The biggest gripe on the styling was Maritza's make-up. In a few entries thus far, her blush has made her complexion look a little red.
smol bab — Amren • The watermelon theme was something cute that hasn't been seen before, and the colour matching was on point. Also, you did well in your description, letting the Judges know exactly where you were heading with your look. • The red fringe and the boot style is a little bit off compared to the rest of the outfit.
HELLPRIEST — Seren • The inspiration received from your description was absolutely realized! You were 100% right when you hoped the crew would all feel the nostalgia of an earlier Gaia. What you delivered was perfectly on point for the goal you set out to achieve. • The Judges could have used even more bluntness in your design. The overall look read way more 'Gaia 2005' than it did 'grunnies'.
clowniing — Rhiannon • You really shone bright when it came to making the setting. The background and frame really bring the picture to life, and the sparkles on Rhiannon's cheeks are the perfect accent to tie the scene together. • The theme was a basic one. It was a predictable direction to take the coat, however, you were the first to do it, and it was done well.
ICLite — Lulu • Your description really sold the childlike aspect that you were going for, and the Judges completely bought it. You executed the mismatched colours to great effect. • There were a couple style choices that were questionable, such as the oversized hat and bandaids. It was also suggested that you could have gone all out with the background to make it even more playful.
BloodAngel95 — Bryce • This is a solid entry that really feels as though it was ripped from a real moment in time. It's cute. and relatable, and Bryce plays the part well. • Because Bryce's hair matches the pins on the Pine Peacoat so perfectly, the Judges had hoped to get a matchy-matchy look, instead of a safe one. This feels like a missed opportunity where you could have used your Model's hair to your advantage, and just go all out.
Ultrabord — Esther • Esther looks simply adorable in this clear representation of your motif. The colours are balanced nicely, and most of the details are welcome additions. • For a Designer who's always given us awesome descriptions, this one is 'meh' at best. An explanation was desperately needed for the ghosts, as not a single Judge understood that choice.
Dickjoke — Talia • This is a solid entry that refreshingly shows Talia's cuter side, and there are a handful of nice elements used, like the background. Though, where your entry really soared was in the description. • The Judges expect big things from you, and this falls short of your previous efforts. It comes across as simple (or even boring) coming from our only 2- time challenge winner.
mythological irony — Sumati • This is a chic look, and the way it's set up with the background veranda and foreground foliage is just darling. You really know how to set a scene. • There were a handful of small details that the Judges weren't sold on, and there was nothing in your description to explain them. In the future, you might want to explore your thoughts and feelings more.
Neapolitangirl — Ava • All of the Judges gave this exquisite description a perfect 10! This perfectly written design journey included funny anecdotes, item advocacy, motif/ scene setting, and was the perfect length; A true masterclass in what a description should look like. • The overall design wasn't the best look for Ava, and certain fashion choices (like the skirt) weren't the best fit to enhance her silhouette. Ava's distinct features seem to be a struggle for you to style.
Detrimentum — Helena • Overall, this is a well-styled look, that gives Helena an adorable babydoll silhouette. Also, the cute nods made to 'The Grinch' were wise, as it set this apart from the other Christmas themed looks. • Your biggest transgression was hiding the coat, rather than working with it. Yeah, it's ugly, but it's supposed to be the focal point of the challenge, and the Pine Peacoat is barely visible.
ShiroOkazaki — Aubrie • This was one hell of a fun motif, described very well by a thoroughly explained design journey. The concept for this 'odd' outfit was sold to the Judges! • While the idea was phenomenal, the execution wasn't there. The colour matching is a bit off throughout the entire look, and the Judges wanted to see you go all out with a truly MAD design.
Eliminated: Princess Warfare — Summer • The WIP look has cute elements to it. Summer exudes child-like and youthful energy, which is enjoyable to look at. • Only your WIP entry was judged, since you weren't able to submit on time. Had you submitted your completed entry before the due date, the results would've been completely different, and favorable on your part. The Judges would've appreciated a heads-up on your late entry as well.

Status - Finished Entry Sixth Challenge - When You Wish Upon A Star Model - Rhiannon
"A Silent Song" by clowniing
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
Rhiannon's gentle voice floats out above her as a star, shining brightly with her song, until eventually silent air bubbles are the only things that escape her lips. She can't help but cry some silent tears for what she has lost and will never get back...
☆゜・。。・゜゜・。。・゜★
The Little Mermaid is a story about Ariel, a hopeless dreamer, a trait I associate strongly with Rhiannon. For this reason I think Ariel would be one of her favorite princesses, plus with how almost ethereal Rhiannon is, I simply couldn't miss the chance of getting to dress her up as a mermaid! : D
The only things that define Ariel's original mermaid look (apart from her red hair ofc) are her green mermaid tail and her purple bra. Very simple, so I wanted to pretty them up a bit and make them fit more to Rhiannon. The scallop bra I gave her is as delicate as Rhiannon herself, and decorated with pearls, fitting for a princess. I also decided not to go with a green mermaid tail, but rather an almost translucent blue one, to fit with the otherwise mainly blue tones and to make her seem more vulnerable... I also gave her a little starfish hairclip; I physically cannot let Rhiannon walk/swim around with not at LEAST one hair accessory.
I chose to embody Ariel at the very moment her voice is taken. The feeling of losing such an important part of oneself must be terrible. It's something I've thought about ever since I saw the movie for the first time as a child. The original story in general is a very sad tale that ends in tragedy. As with most tragedies, there are no bad guys in this story, not even the sea witch is evil. And since I'm a big fan of the original book rather than the disney-fied story, I didn't want the scene and Rhiannon's surroundings to feel evil either, as an homage to the book. The jellyfish, the glowing starfish, and the dark blue hues that engulf Rhiannon feel otherworldly, alien and potentially dangerous, but not maliciously so. Rhiannon isn't being stolen from, she's willingly giving something up, even though it pains her greatly...
Description: When I saw the challenge description I knew I had to do this is as tribute to a VHS tape I played to death as a kid and one of my all time favorite princesses, Ariel from The Little Mermaid!
Starting out, I have to say that I've always loveeed her mermaid look but I hate her official princess dress! I feel the big poofy pink dress retains none of her official character and doesn't really do Ariel justice, so for this look I definitely wanted it to directly tie into her true princess form as a mermaid over her post-story legged form. I feel like the seafoam skirt I ended up using carries the same vibe as her fish tail while still giving the look a princess silhouette, and the lavender sea bra fit perfectly as a top!
For accessories, Talia is rocking a set of pearl necklace, bracelet, and earrings as a sea princess should and the look is topped off with a purple shell hairclip in place of a crown to really drive home the sea royalty angle. As a bonus I did include a crab bag as a reference to her love of taking home random objects and her friend Sebastian, and after some deliberation I ended up swapping out the red crab for a more orange shade that suited the look more. It also helps tie Talia's ginger hair into the look as Sebastian is typically the exact shade of red as Ariel's hair.
For the background I managed to find a sea background that was a pretty good dupe to the location Ariel was found at after getting her legs, and I decided to have Talia pose there with some light mist added as well for texture.

Challenge #6: When You Wish Upon a Star Status: Complete
Title: For Love Designer: ShiroOkazaki Model: Aubrie
Description: I have a special connection to the movie Aladdin. I'm old enough that I had it on tape, and I wore that tape out, I watched it so many times.
I also feel like Aubrie and Jasmine are similar. Jasmine was fiercely independent, but she wasn't against getting married, she just wanted it to be her choice. Jasmine wanted "it to be for love", and Aubrie strikes me as hopelessly romantic in the same way.
I tried to make an outfit that was reminiscent of Jasmine, while taking some other inspiration from the story's setting and history. This proved a bit difficult as there is some confusion as to where the story actually takes place. It's meant to be "Arabian", but the city of Agrabah appears based on Agra, India (even the palace echoes the look of the Taj Mahal).
I chose to go with the Indian influence and put together a look with those styles. I chose Jasmine’s classic teal and gold, but with a bit more drama. The Lehenga skirt is a departure from her classic pants, but more in keeping with Indian women’s fashion. I gave her several accessories and some extra makeup, which may be a bit more bridal looking, but Jasmine is a princess after all.
While welcoming her new role as the chieftain of her village, Moana still maintains her sense of adventure and often goes out to sea. This scene depicts her returning in evening after a long day of exploring the sea that loves her
This avatar was a bit of a rush-job, not just because of the time limit, but I wanted to get it done before anyone else cosplays her. I would've had to restart with another princess otherwise XD Gaia does lack a lot of cultural items that would help with cosplaying Moana, hell, more items with just patterns would've helped. We dont even have an oar item, so I had to layer a companion and use arm mods in a way that makes the paddle look like its an oars resting against the boat at distance. It also shows that spirit of ocean loves her so that works out, but I had to sacrifice a nice item for top that didnt work with the arm mods. I layered the background a hell lot, to make one side look brighter and other darker as the sun sets and put more elements on beach
After last feedback, I wasnt going to use the blush item, but Moana has a bit of blush on her cheeks so I had to include it and there wasnt a more subtle one that worked with her well. Also, I planned to include different eyebrows, but I decided to not risk it with the rules regarding it.
✦ Designer: Detrimentum ✦ Model: Helena ✦ Challenge: 6 - When You Wish Upon a Star ✦ Outift Title: A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes ✦ Description:
For my entry, I chose to dress Helena up as Cinderella. After all, Helena has some perfect features to cosplay as Cindy - her blonde hair tied in a bun and piercing blue eyes!
My idea was to recreate the moment Cinderella enters the ball — looking radiant, excited and yet overwhelmed by the grandeur.
She's wearing a bright blue dress and an overskirt that adds extra puffiness to her gown. I chose arms with gloves, as they had just the perfect big sleeves.
The frame is an addition to make the background have more dimension and look more stylised (also, the background is perfect but has normally a little weird shape, so the frame is there to hide it).

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☆.* :☆゚. ─── ☆・:.,;*Title: Finding my frog prince ☆・:.,;*Description: Personally my favorite princess is Tiana from The princess and the frog so automatically I think that means it is also my models favorite hehe. I really like her color scheme and I think it fits with Amren pretty well. Taking notes from how Tiana's dress looks like massive layered flower petals in two colors I tried to recreate it in my own way, since there's no petal dresses in the specific colors I was going for I layered different skirts and dresses until I thought it looked puffed out and flower like enough to my liking, you'll also see some white on there which I made sure to have since she does have some glitter on her dress as well. While you can't see her shoes in the original dress images I've put some heels on her that have some vine-like pieces going up the leg since I could not find a good vine belt for the center of her dress, so hopefully that makes up for it a bit. Honestly the headpiece I wish I could have done more on but it frustrated me to not extent and I went with what I could find, I really like the green crown piece but I could not find a yellow color item to go behind it for the life of me so I did what I could to match up what I could. I've accessorized with her blue pearl necklace of course, the gloves as well but I wish I could have found some lighter green colored ones. The background shows a nice swampy scene just like in the movie, you'll also see a frog sitting there....oh wait that's her prince.

Designer: Ultrabord Model: Esther Challenge: When you wish upon a star Outfit Title: Honor to us all
Description:
When I look at Esther, I see a bold, strong independent young woman who's not afraid to fight to defend her friends and family. Several Disney princesses have a bold, fighting personality; in the end, I chose Mulan, because out of all the young ladies featured in classic Disney fairy tale movies, I resonate the most with this character. Plus, the warmer colors and bold, strong build of the traditional armor from the newer live action Mulan movie flatter Esther well. Red symbolizes fire, passion and joy in classic Chinese culture and was the main color the imperial soldiers wore. That's why I chose to go with battle attire, with a traditional chest plate from dynastic China, Eastern-style leather riding boots, and the red hair adornment was the closest decoration I could find to add to the classic Chinese early-medieval-period helmet. The new movie included elements from 400s-600s AD, so it was a challenge to keep the outfit completely period accurate as the original tale would take place during that time, but I wanted to keep it as close to the new Disney remake as possible since it's more historically accurate than some of the animated outfits that were inspired by Tang Dynasty attire from around 600s-early 900s AD.
I completed the look with her horse companion and, of course, Eddie Murphy Mushu the dragon, even though he only appears in the animated movie, as they're the perfect sassy sidekicks for our spirited military princess. The dragon is the one element I added from the animated movie instead of the new remake, as he reflects Mulan's powerful fighting spirit even though he was added for the animated film to give the story a more colorful cast and greater appeal to the modern audience who watched the movie. I completed the look with a barren desert background like the setting from the movie with a few mountains, and the light shining from the brilliant sun. The scenery and her companions also perfectly symbolize Mulan's brilliance, strength and tenacity.

Colors of the Wind mythological irony • Sumati
I definitely think that Pocahontas was the perfect choice for Sumati. Not just because of their similar features, but because I see Sumati as having a strong personality and a free and adventurous spirit, tying back into the Bohemian theme, just like said Disney princess.
As I could not find a fringed top to use, I substituted it with the rough texture of the Leather Tube Top. To mitigate the fact that the top is cropped, I chose to have her arms crossed over her chest and used the shorts from Autumn Mornings to suggest a shadow being cast by her arms.
I kept the makeup simple, opting only for some light eyeshadow to suggest her brows creating shadow and contouring on her cheekbones to emulate the style of Pocahontas more.
I built a warm background to tie in with the overall warmth of Sumati and her outfit. I added leaves and petals blowing around her to reference the song "Colors of the Wind," in addition to the title.
Originally I was going to include her two animal companions, but as this is meant to be Sumati dressed up as Pocahontas and not actually Pocahontas, I opted to leave them out.
Outfit Title:Born to Hunt Designer: bloodangel95 Model: Bryce
Description: Do you know what color Merida main dress is? Dark blue? Teal? Green? It's dark teal- emerald green. lol I was thinking emerald green at first, but looking at the images online maybe teal is a better fit or dark blue. Dark blue or royal blue would be easier to find a nice dress to use, but after searching and searching for a nice dress in any of these colors, the color that called to me was an olive/forest green.
The thing that sets Merida apart from other princesses is that she uses a bow and arrow, having that was a must in Bryce's outfit. Merida is a a free spirit but a very daring one. As she is active a dress with a slit that allows for more mobility was perfect! I paired the dress with a black and brown bodice that reveals some cleavage. The slit in the dress already said sexy, the bodice more sexy. You can't really see much of her foot wear but she is in fact wearing combat boots! Byrce is sexy and powerful.
Merida for most of the move isn't seen wearing a crown, there is only one scene, but she is a princess and Bryce is dressing up as princess so a crown is a must. I thought a simple gold circlet would be a good fit, nothing too fancy because that wouldn't go with wild nature Merida is known for or the look I am going for Byrce.
The scene I created is Byrce in the middle of an adventure from deep within the forest. The tree in the right side show cases the sunlight that is starting to show as she is getting close to an open field. I thought about having her pose with the bow lifted and taking aim as she is seeing a deer in the open field, but having her bow down show cased more of the avi.
