Ah... Lazar. An all too familiar face. No matter what the Cappadocians said or did, Claudius knew very well what was expected of him. What was expected of them all, to be more precise. "Lazar," he said in greeting, as he had greeted Constancia. Not that he expected either of them to care about niceties. They never had before, why would that start now? He did not tighten his grip on Vinny's hand, his gaze steadily on Constancia. Listening to her every word, no matter how unhinged she might seem. Appearances could be deceiving, after all. He gave no indication whatsoever that anything she said rankled him.
She probably already knew upon what terms he and Ambrogino were on. It hardly bore repeating. Nor was it the business of this Cappadocian woman what stood between himself and his half-brother. There was so much that he did not dignify with and answer. She wasn't finished speaking, after all. It was rude to interrupt. He did not take away from her the satisfaction of whatever this little diatribe might be.
At last, she stopped speaking, but it was on a note that was decidedly unwelcome. "Ah, Constancia, I very much doubt that anyone knows where my darling brother is. You know him. Always so independent. If he wanted his whereabouts known they already would be." His children she could leave alone, for although Claudius would not break the rules of Elysium himself, he certainly had ways to deal with matters such as this one. He'd noticed Ambrosius's arrival, as well as his own father's. When there had been only one of his children present, and that one in another room, things had been fairly under control.
Now... well, one never knew what a Cappadocian would do, did they? He thought he heard his youngest child's voice from outside, but gave absolutely no indication of it. No, he would not endanger his children by pointing them out to Constancia or Lazar. As far as he was concerned, it was far better that they focus on him. Even upon Vinny, for Vinny was much more prepared to take care of himself than a handful of barely grown children. Claudius smiled at Vinny's words, his mask of politeness firmly in place. She would not have the satisfaction of having them make a mistake. Not in such company. Not when his own father was present.

To have come across someone that did not immediately rile the Beast within was a feat in and of itself. What had started as mere intrigue for the unfamiliar song carried on the wind in the wilderness had become something more. Much more, for it was Delilah who brought to him a sense of serenity, a calm in the storm not often felt by one such as himself. At every reasonable opportunity, he stole a glance to look upon her under the dazzling light of the chandeliers above. This was a delight in which he could not ignore. With the subtle glow that she currently possessed, she reminded him of a wildflower, plucked free from the edges of the woods and placed gently on his arm. Truly, he was but the beast to her beauty, ever so fortunate for this public affirmation of their devotion. There would definitely be at least one dance on the agenda for the evening. Although he still felt the urges of the animal, as if pacing wildly from within, his choice to restrain himself seemed easier with her by his side.
And yet, the noise of the crowd was not lost on Enoch. Voices carried throughout the great hall, reaching his sensitive ears like rain in the forest. The rise and fall of assorted greetings, joyous merriment, and hushed whispers continuously flooded the room. This, to name but one of many, was a reason he generally avoided these types of gatherings. The amount of dialogue alone was, to him, a constant buzz in the background that echoed off of high walls and higher ceilings. Despite his capability to remain visibly focused on Delilah and Lorelei, he was also keenly aware of their surroundings and the varied Kindred within. Although he could not discern each of the words spoken, he speculated on the tones heard, listening for any sign of cause for concern.
But the gentle squeeze and the mellow voice of his love immersed him back into the conversation at hand. Another unusual feeling came over him as she talked of sharing their news. Was it... pride? Happiness? Perhaps a mix of the two, though these trickles of emotions still felt a bit foreign to him with little experience in either for a long, long while. "Lorelei," he repeated with a subtle smile. "How could I forget?" Whether it was recent discussions with Delilah or memories of a different time that suddenly clicked in his mind, he couldn't be sure. But to Lorelei's words, he listened intently, noting all the possible meanings behind them. "To be fair, if I may..." he gazed at Delilah as he continued. "It was but the call of a siren within the woods that aided me in finding my way." Enoch turned back to Lorelei, still maintaining his small smile, which was more than most would generally receive. In truth, he was pleased for this opportunity to speak with her, even if it wasn't overly apparent in his expression. It was inevitable, he supposed, that the two Disciples should have much to discuss. "I shall take that as an invitation. To that, I am pleased to accept. Please inform me of when it would be to your convenience, of course."
It was then that his golden eyes peered just past Lorelei, not meant as disrespect, but a response to the hint of a greeting that entered his mind. Assuming that she had received a similar acknowledgement, he used his own brief pause as an opening to give a slight nod to their Deity in return. Whether Grendel noticed had yet to be seen, but there was something to be said for their God who chose to walk among them, to be present and seemingly sharing in the festivities in his own way. Yet another reason for Enoch to hold their Deity in high regard. In that same moment, he noticed that the God was not alone. A well-dressed, dark haired figure stood close by his side that was at first unrecognizable to him at a glance. However, something about him seemed somewhat... familiar... though not necessarily on a positive note.
The realization that it was indeed Ravnos caused a slight furrow of his brow, though only as a flash upon his features. So, the rumors that made their way across the lands were in fact true. Who was he to doubt the truth of his little birds? Enoch refrained from outwardly shifting his expression any further, though their Deity would likely be able to read him as easily as an open book should he so choose. It was no secret that the clans of Gangrel and Ravnos retained a rivalry through the ages. There were many rather bloody stories to be told from both sides on such matters. Recently, however, he could not recall hearing any whispers of direct conflict between them from his clan. Perhaps the pairing of God and Disciple had occupied the mind of the latter, keeping the Gangrel out of his thoughts more often than not. With respect for Grendel, and an understanding of potential demise depending on his own actions, the Disciple would let sleeping dogs lie as long as the quiet would last.
Just a moment had passed in which these thoughts swirled around his mind, but it was long enough that his darling may have noticed. Surely, there was a matter of great importance here to attend to. Enoch refocused his gaze and attention, clearing his throat and carefully wrapping an arm around Delilah. He beamed at his delicate flower, then let his smile soften as he addressed both her and Lorelei once more. "Personally, I have no fear about this information being shared here, if that is any consolation to either of you."

Delilah beamed as Enoch spoke of her calling to him, of the way that they had found each other. It was not a typical meet cute, but for the two of them it had been perfect. It would have been so easy to fall into recounting that meeting, but she doubted that even Lorelei would want to hear it retold in full. She paid no mind to the buzz of conversation in the hall, focused as she was on Lorelei and Enoch. It was merely background noise for the siren, who leaned against her mate with pleasure. "I'm so glad that you will be meeting at the Manor," she said, tucking in against Enoch's side.
Truth be told, Delilah was fair full to bursting with her good news. Which had of course been first shared with her dear twin sister. Dahlia first, but certainly not Lorelei last. She sensed that her darling Enoch was a trifle preoccupied, but did not remark upon it. There were several other Disciples present at the party, not to mention the god of vampires himself. It was reasonable that he might have some distractions to pull his focus away from their current conversation. Though Delilah did give his hand a little squeeze just to remind him of the here and now. And of the fantastic news that they had to share. To see her Disciple and her love getting along so famously made the elder ever so happy.
"As Enoch has said, there is nothing in what I have to share that listening ears could not hear." Although Delilah was excited, she certainly was no fool. If she'd thought it dangerous for others to know about their news, she would not have broached the subject in such a public place. But with Enoch affirming that he felt there was no harm in it, she did not hold back. After all, he was a formidable creature and anyone who decided to anger him did so at their own risk.
He was also so handsome that she could hardly bear it. Wearing nicely tailored clothes and even shoes, he made quite the picture. Whether he knew it or not. She smiled up at him, and then glanced over at her Disciple. "I'm pleased to announce that Enoch and I are expecting. We are to be parents." And in fact, something of her own personal glow was owing to that very thing. New blood for their clans could only be a good thing, but all she could focus on was how happy this new journey made her. To be a first time mother, after all these years, and with such an attentive future father for her children was truly wonderful.

Lorelei was perhaps even less aware of individual voices in the din then Enoch, with her own internal music playing as an undercurrent to everything. But she didn’t miss the brush of her Diety against her mind and took a moment to locate him in the room. There. With, as rumors spoke, Ravnos. Well, well. Nice to have that confirmed. She sent him a sunny smile and a mental belated congratulations. Whether he got it or not, who could tell? With her attention back on Enoch and Delilah, beamed as he accepted her invitation and confirmed that the news was eavesdropper approved. Then, when Delilah shared Lorelei squealed. “This is marvelous. Congratulations to you both. Oh, I can’t wait to see the little ones. I do hope they want to join one of our clans. They will be the most precious little beings.” While she would like to lay claim to the babies right now, she knew that there were both politics and personal preferences to consider. Plus the whole gender thing. She was still hunting down those rumors of male Daughters hiding away. Maybe, just maybe, their clan will soon not be completely one sided. Lorelei wondered how the rest of the clan would react to her bringing home males. But she wasn’t going to reject them if they did exist.

Shadows seemed to bleed from pale eyes as Lazar stood there. A stoic, marble statue. He did not shift even when Constancia pressed up against him. Merely glanced down at her, catching a faint glimpse of her beautiful face from beneath her hood. Something stirred within him but before he could say more she had inches away from him. So he merely stood there in silence, his gaze flickering up towards the Giovanni only when he said his name. The only real recognition he would give him. There were many things he could do if it were not for Elysium in that moment. But by being here and observing it was an agreement not to break it and he didn’t feel like being thrown out. There were other places. Other times. Let the Giovanni break it first, the look on his face practically dared them too. He held no leash when it came to Constancia. He was not her keeper nor did he claim to be in any capacity. She could run her mouth as much as she liked and there was nothing any of them could do. Lazar was not there to “handle his woman”. Not for them, not for Elysium, not even for himself. No, in fact this whole interaction bored him. That was until Constancia mentioned children and his gaze narrowed just the tiniest bit at the pair before them. Watching with quiet contemplation, the corner of pale lips rising and falling briefly. “My, my. How…..sweet.” The tone in his voice was saccharine as he glanced about the room. As if trying to sus out if their children were here and who they might be. They would put on a show. To try and distract from this train of questioning. Either way would confirm or deny. And if they were any kind of caring parents they would fall right for it one way or another. As long as the pair were here, as long as there was a chance that their children would approach them they would be putting their progenies unlives in danger in that very instant. —- It was, of course, in that very exact moment that Radu chose to act. A stocky figure bumping wildly into both Claudius and Vinny at the same time. Gold ringed fingers grasping at any and all fabric as he spun around. “Ahhhh-HA I found you you saucy minx!” The voice was deep, gruff and sounded quite drunk. Radu paused as he looked up at Claudius. “Oh, oh dear. Brrrt. Sir, ma’am, puppy, sir tell me have you seen my beloved Leandra?” His hands went to work, groping at the Giovanni here and there as he swayed unsteady on his feet as if trying to use Claudius to steady himself. “She is a scullery maid here in the mansion with flaxen hair, curves that would make a grown man weep WEEP! And huge…..” Ge finally released Claudius to hold his hands up to his chest to simulate breasts. “Tracks of land you just want to smash your face into and go pbtbtbtbtbtbtbtbtbtbtbtbtbtbbttbtbtbbtbtbt. No?” Radu paused, blinking at the four of them curiously before he made a gesture with his hands that spoke to their uselessness before he spun around on the heel of his boot and began to make his way through the crowd. “Leandra! LEANDRA IT IS I YOUR FAITHFUL RADU WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN MEEEEEEEE!!!!” Perhaps the Ravnos jingled just a little bit more than usual as he made his way up to the bar.

Llwellyn laughed again. “Indeed. I don’t think they would know a good time if it stepped on their foot.” The tip of his tongue pressed Jed out from the corner of his mouth in amusement. The young vampire had minimal contact with the other clans. His knowledge was steeped heavily in Ravnos culture and lore. He was born into it and, even though he wasn’t an official member of the clan, he observed it as well. It was all he’d ever really known. Not that he had been stifled from learning about the other clans it was just a hard fact to escape when you were surrounded by it night in and night out. His gaze lingered a little longer on the group at the door when there was a sudden great commotion from that direction now. It seemed his cousin Radu was causing a bit of mischief and he couldn’t help but smile at that. The Ancilla had always been good for it. “I’m glad to hear it then.” He tilted his head for the briefest of moments as Vano’s hand moved then stopped. Curious but he brought no real attention to it. “What is your Kumpania like, Vano? I know each is different so I am curious to know more about your’s.” He was curious, indeed. There was Durga Syn’s smaller Kumpania full of musicians and Chandraputra’s cat Kumpania but what about f Vano’s? What made his special?

For centuries the pair had been locked in an eternal struggle of cat and mouse. Mithras would steal the cheese and Armistice would persue him. Only pausing in his pursuit when called away to attend to other business. But as soon as it was quickly wrapped he would return with much more fervor and determination. Oh, he had tried to catch his old adversary in many, many traps and tribulations. But the past few years he had really stepped up his game. A Justicar’s position didn’t last very long you see and Mithras would be the jewel upon his illustrious crown of service to the Camarilla when he was finally bade to retire and find a new line of work. Time was running out for them both. But Mithras did not need to know that. Armistice would just need to change his tactics, use something new. He could change his course at the drop of a hat if he so wished but ye had to do it in a way that did not raise too much suspicion. Lest Mithras flee and go to ground for a hundred years or more. And by that point his fate would be out of the Justicar’s hands and in someone else’s. “That room? You make it sound nd as if you have them in multiple rooms.” After that little debaucle he would have sworn Mithras would have given up on those kinds of things but that seemed contrary to popular belief. But he was not surprised. The other Ventrue was as mercurial as a Mallavian sometimes. Reaching over, he placed a gloved hand over top of one of the other male’s that held his glass. “Come now Mithras. Are you not tired of this game yet? I promise to put in a good word for you. The council might even decided to simply lock you away instead of giving you final death. Wouldn’t that be a better alternative than this unlife on borrowed time?” To say what Armistice might do with his time if or when Mithras finally slipped and fell into his clutches was hard to say. He had spent so much time in his pursuit that what came after once he had him had never been something he thought too deeply of. In fact, the thought of it at all made the Ventrue just the slightest bit sad. To think of all that time spent together just suddenly over.

Ignatius gave a little nod, his face turning into a bit of a grimace. "I just would have thought--" he paused for a moment, trying to figure out what he was going to say. Regardless, if Constancia was back, and moving among them, then they'd have to be extra cautious. Cappedocians were no good no matter their rank, but those who rivaled his father for power were something to genuinely fear. "Well, whatever I thought was wrong," he added with a self-deprecating smile, though there was no humor in it.
Gods.
He felt foolish, but there was magic out there more powerful than even he knew. He'd always thought Final Death was final but apparently there were forces out there that were mighty indeed. And if the Cappedocians were crawling back from Oblivion and beyond, he needed to do everything in his power to protect himself and his family. Aureliano had already had a bad encounter with the Cappadocians and getting him back had been no easy feat.
How much worse off would it have been had Iggy been captured? Or one of his siblings?
No.
He had always wanted to become a powerful necromancer due to his own interests in magic and wraiths. But he needed to become a powerful necromancer to keep his family, and the Clan, safe.
Iggy didn't object when he was moved further through the crowd and over to another bar. He did watch Aureliano's face, his dark purple eyes concerned. Aurey might have been tough as nails, but that didn't mean he was okay. He didn't know what exactly he'd gone through at the hands of the Caps but he knew getting him back had been tricky, and it was lucky he'd survived at all. "Here," he offered, hurriedly pulling out a cigarette as requested. He waited for Aurey to put it to his lips, before offering to light it. Once lit, he pulled out and lit a cigarette all his own.
This night had never been one for fun, but right now, it just felt downright unlucky. No Baali vampires had come, though the night was still relatively young. His father's had deigned to make an appearance, around the same time as a high ranking Cappadocian. And Aureliano...well. Iggy wasn't so unaware that he was likely in a bad spot, reliving whatever he might have gone through. Ignatius might not have been some necromancy prodigy, but he'd never wished that on him. Boldly, he slipped his arm a bit tighter around Aurey. He wouldn't say it, but he wouldn't let the Caps get their claws in him again.
"Let's wait it out a little -- give whatever's happening out there time to sort itself out. We can duck out early though, if you'd like," he added, giving a shrug of his shoulders before taking a long drag off his cigarette. Another stupid idea, brought to Aurey by Ignatius. The story of his life. The long running narrative of their marriage. "Maybe things will turn around and we'll get lucky." It was almost said in jest. He didn't believe it, of course, but it was worth saying all the same.

Another of Ravnos's childer was at the party already, melting into the background like she belonged there. Ashke, who was not ancient like some of these others, did not stick out like a sore thumb. Nor did she make much sound as she moved among the crowd. Eventually, she made her way into the club area, spying another Ravnos in the crush of the crowd. She wasn't entirely sure that she knew her name, but she knew she was part of the Kumpania. Which, in and of itself, was still a new word for Ashke. Ashke, who had been brought into Ravnos merely to save her life when Zapathusura had nearly ended it. She was not clan by blood, merely by embrace.
Yet making of it her entire unlife changed things. These nights, Ashke lived and breathed the Ravnos Clan, finding that it fit her in surprising ways. She was comfortable in a way she'd never been before. Before Ravnos, she had been nothing and no one. Alone in the world. There had been no one to care if she came back home at night. Now there was. From the familiar smell of Ravnos's singular blend of cigar smoke to the jingling of coins, she knew it all too well to not recognize a fellow Ravnos when she found her. Ashke approached first, walking up to Ralza where she stood in the crowd. "Hey," she said. "You here alone?"

Ralza turned when she heard the voice, her smile brightening. Finally! Someone to talk to that wasn’t a Mulo. Ralza had seen this vampire before, but they’d never talked. Ralza was born into her clan, and she was relatively old, so she wasn’t often found mingling with the newer embraced vampires in the clan. Not that she particularly cared about their status as gypsy or gajo, embraced or born into the clan. Ralza would pretend she did to annoy someone, but she didn’t actually. She was starved for the conversation. She’d noticed some of the much older Ravnos around the party, including their Disciple, but she’d never even talked to them before. As informal as the clan was, it felt odd to address such an elder as a friend. Ashke blended in with the crowd, but Ralza’s brightness pulled her out of that shadow. It was very hard not to be noticed when Ralza was next to you. At least her attire wasn’t as flashy as it could’ve been. She nodded. “Hey! I’m not alone anymore, am I? C’mon girl, dance with me!” Ralza grabbed Ashke’s arm without even waiting for a response, bouncing up and down with the other. She addressed the other as if they had been friend for their entire unlives. If you asked Ralza why, she’d say it’s because life’s too short to ostracize anyone. If you corrected her and said unlife*, she’d tell you to shut up, because you know what she means. They were going to be friends if she had anything to say about it, or at the very least, partners in totally-not-crime. Dancing with the other vampire with no limits, Ralza enjoyed herself immensely. “I don’t know your name. You were embraced, yeah? A bit late, but welcome to the Kumpania!” She practically shouted over the music, incredibly enthusiastically. Cheri Fake it till you make it roleplaying vamps.

Due to a plentiful amount of distractions the Disciple arrived, late. There was a moment where coming at all was in question. Somehow he and his partners were able to get ready and leave their tomb eventually. Abanaub dressed up in more modern wear. A white button up, a black jacket with gold threading through out. Pants, how unheard of but he had them. Though he wore just as much jewelry and bangles as he would any other time he wasn’t attempting to be less conspicuous. He was quite dashing but he would argue he wasn’t the most appealing one stepping in. For part of the distractions he had in arriving were with him. Khemi was watching his younger siblings so they could also escape their needy grasp. “Habiy, where to first, this place is quite, grande” They showed up together, and Abanaub took it all in, there was a lot going on he felt, and he could hear music off in another area. He was still working on reading the room and sensing what was going on, being late was, something he did but also made him want to forgo the whole thing if he could.

Vano laughed. Llewellyn was, of course, right. "Ah, but you're quite correct. I doubt that they would." Of course, no Clan knew how to party like the Ravnos did. They had their own celebrations and rarely were those held inside. Ah, Vano quite preferred to joke and laugh around the fires of his people, to dance and sing and make merry with the rest of the greater Kumpania. It was a singular experience, one he hoped that Llewellyn knew. "There's no party like a Ravnos party," he said, taking a long sip of his drink.
Unfortunately, the commotion Radu made was close to spelling the end of Vano's good time with Llewellyn. Damn it. Did Radu think that such powerful vampires would not notice if he pulled his usual tricks? The ancilla was just that, after all. An ancilla. Older than many in the Kumpania, but not old enough nor powerful enough for such cheap tricks to fool a higher ranking and more powerful vampire. If this caused trouble with the Giovanni clan, it would be up to Vano to solve, not Radu.
Which was very annoying. Already he could see the Giovanni's gaze follow Radu, and took note of the narrowed eyes sent after his clan-sib. "Damn it. I might have to go soon," he told Llewellyn. Ah, why did his job have to get in the way of these quiet moments? But he'd known what he'd signed up for when he'd agreed to be the Antediluvian of the clan. Distracted, he turned his attention back to Llewellyn the next moment. "Ah, my Kumpania? It's quite diverse. We've got tale spinners, fortune tellers, dancers, fire dancers, carpenters, and smiths. Just a variety of different sorts. Musicians, even, and some magicians."
There was no one pattern among his people. They were as varied as one could hope to see in a Kumpania, with no great theme binding them together, except their shared blood and companionship.
Then Radu arrived at the bar. "Radu, you were discovered," Vano said, sensing rather than seeing a pair of eyes on them both. "You couldn't have been more subtle when you decided to rob an Antediluvian of all things? Was it worth it, for all the trouble this is likely to cause me?" To say Vano was irritated to have his nice conversation cut somewhat short was an understatement, but duties were duties. He had to hope that the Giovanni was not the vengeful sort, for even though Radu was boisterous and sometimes obnoxious, he had a fondness for his clan mate. To know that he might have a target on his back did not fill Vano with pleasure, not by a long shot.

Well, Ashke wasn't going to say no. After all, dancing was sort of expected at a party, and she did know how to dance. It was more fun with a clan mate, though, so it was good that Ralza was willing. "Sure," she said, as the other vampire dragged her along. She wasn't exactly an unwilling participant, though. Ashke had always been the type to stay in the shadows, but she didn't exactly mind being pulled into the light.
"My name's Ashke," she said. "I don't think I caught yours." Already, she was caught up in the dance, her own take on it a little more modern than some of the kindred out there. "Thank you! It's been nice." So far, she felt more at home than she'd ever felt before in her life. She suddenly had a very large and raucous family. A family that liked to shout, just the way Ralza was doing right now. It was easy enough to treat them as such, considering the way she'd been welcomed into the Kumpania with open arms. And another nice thing about being a vampire was that she could dance as much as she wanted to without getting winded. It was the little things in life, wasn't it?

Getting ready in the home of Abanaub was something of a production. Neither Kemat nor Neferu could be trusted to keep their hands off of their mate or each other... and Abanaub was just as likely to fall prey to that weakness himself. They'd had to dress in separate rooms just to get dressed at all. It had taken about as long as the elder had expected, all things considered. Fortunately, Khemi was at home minding the little ones. That left their parents free to attend the party. Fashionably late, of course. Kemat had chosen a crimson silk gown threaded through with golden thread and diamonds, an eye catching number with a back that dipped low. The sort of thing that would have been covered up by Neferu's glorious hair, had he been wearing it, but Kemat's own hair was short enough to make quite a statement of the piece.
She was covered in bangles and armbands, wearing rings on every finger and anklets as well. One had to look the part, after all. As they entered the party, she gave the entranceway a long look. It seemed that some sort of drama was unfolding there. How... quaint. "Perhaps a drink for us all, first?" she asked, leaning against Abanaub's shoulder for a moment. At the far end of the room she spied the God of vampires himself, giving a slight curtsey when she identified him among the crowd. Whether he saw it was another thing, but it was the appropriate thing to be respectful to one's god. No matter that the Followers of Set revere Set even now. She knew well the bond her mate had with Grendel. Enough to make this gesture the right thing to do. "What do you think, Neferu?" she inquired.

There was a bit of a commotion near the front of the room, with a fellow Ravnos making some sort of stir. This, of course, provided Fennix a solid opportunity to retreat further into the crowd. Better still, it appeared as if Vano was equally distracted.
Well.
The dark haired Fennix quickly followed a passing crowd of partially inebriated mortals. He had no intention of pilferi--- okay, that was a lie, but that was all secondary. Being in a home with rooms closed off to him was a siren song to the vampire, and he moved innocently enough through the crowds. All he had to do was get a little lost....
Security was tight this night, but Fennix had a few ideas. There were too many powerful vampires loitering in the room for him to be able to easily use his powers, but that didn't mean he couldn't get creative. With mortals invited, there were likely washrooms and restrooms -- perhaps some with vents, or maybe even windows to slip out of undetected. Instead of breaking in on the inside, maybe scaling the side of the mansion to to slip into a room undetected would be better. He had ideas, but first, he needed to case the joint. Maybe he'd get lucky.
Certainly nobody was paying any attention to him, especially not with Radu's offkey singing...
Perhaps he'd just take a little stroll, and head down this particular corridor, admiring the paintings and elegance. The further away from the higher ups in the main hall he could get, the better. Surely, the Toreador wanted them to admire their lovely mansion in all its resplendence. A feast for the eyes, he'd tell them.... But there were some places that called to him more than the rest.
Would anyone really mind if all he did was peek?
