Mm.
I say "No" to Will, personally.
S' like everyone's saying.
His character is completely unorigional.
He's hot, yeah, sure, but he's not that great.
In the first movie it was basically,
"Feel bad for me; I love Elizabeth and no one cares about the poor blacksmith."
In the second, it was,
"I got the girl, & we're getting married; Oh, no, we're arrested; Got to go find Jack in the name of love; Oh, hey, Pops, what's up?; I'm going to kill Jones, so piss off, Jack; Norrington, you a**, trying to steal my woman; Oh, Elizabeth is kissing Jack...I'm going to go mope and be pretty now."
Emo Will at Tia Dalma's in the end of DMC.
But overall, I think Will's a general pansy.

Because he's chivalrous and honorable, and works very hard to maintain those qualities despite the fact that his world is literally crumbling around him. I'm a very traditional person, and I like the guys that will go around and open the door for you.
Jack would be a good drinking buddy, but I sure wouldn't do him. He's not about to stick his neck out for anyone, so if I landed my a** in prison, I'd save that phone call for Will. Besides... the hygeine fator is a HUGE turn-off for me. (Jack's teeth are just... ugh.)
Besides, Orlando Bloom, unlike Johnny Depp, is himself a very inspirational person. He fell out of a window, broke his back, and was told he'd never walk again. The next year, he's filming Lord of the Rings and doing most of his own stunts. He continues to do so, as much as he can.
Johnny Depp throws fits if he can't wear a particular set of boots.
And did I mention he's hot? That might be a factor. X3
It's really too bad he's getting type-casted in these "Romeo" roles. Even worse that he's under contract to Disney, now... I mean, his career is over, now. I hope can only hope the same for Johnny Depp... If Orli's going to hell, he needs to take Johnny with him. XD

Tarabizzle wallace100 hey everyone i think that will turner is okay but he is a little bit on the slow side if you know what i mean i mean come "aye avast" thats lame Right, because some kid who likes Braveheart a little too much could do so much better when facing a ship full of armed men who are allowed to fire whenever the hell they see it's necessary. Most people just like him 'cause he's hot. I like him 'cause he's kind of the pirate newbie. It's cute to see how he know's nothing about piracy or obviously Davy Jones. And his stupidity in piracy and love for Elisabeth just adds on to his cute qualities.

palindrome88 Because I can't see much good in him. From my standpoint, he's not attractive and has no personality to speak of. But he's very popular, almost as much as Jack. Why? ninja personally, i do find him hot... especially with his rugged features in PotC compared to his clean-shaven look in LOTR dats y i REALLY like him in PotC... aka eyecandy hihihi then again, everyone has different opinion... some may think he's HOT as hell some may not but acting-wise i really like capt. jack sparrow :3

I think Will's an allright guy.
I mean, he'll never be a Norrington,
and definitly not a Sparrow in my book,
(maybe in other's)
But still, I'd never insult him,
especially not after AWE.
So, who cares if people think he's sexy,
or if people think he's ugly.
Will's never done anything to hurt you.
so don't bash the boy, please.

I like will very much. I liked him from the start. when i saw this movie(as in the first one) i didn't even know who orlando bloom was. He is cliche and kinda stupid but it's funny and cute.

Like other people have said, we know and love him from LOTR so I think that has kinda carried over to POTC. Even I had a huge thing for his character but I changed to liking Jack because he was more developed and was just such an interesting character. Will was just kinda...blah. Even Elizabeth was more indepth than Will it seemed.
