How do you handle hugs?

I am alright with hugs from a few close friends but thats about it. Everyone else like family, classmates, etc. I dont let them touch me.

Anoo... personally... I can only handle them if they are from close friends or family... otherwise I get weirded out.... sweatdrop

Up until now (my freshman year), I was a major schizoid. Wouldn't talk to people let alone let them touch me.. I have a TON more female friends now that apparently are all hug addicts and it doesn't bother me anymore, I just respond.. akwardly to say the least. [I suck at returning them? I guess that works]

I'm a hugger. When I first meet someone--I hug. Passing someone I know---I hug. Saying goodbye---I hug.

I used to like hugs until my friend squeezed me so hard that I heard a crack in three different places, now i try to avoid them. But I do give hugs every once in a while. (its rare) My friend now tells people that I just dont like physical contact. (if i tell people the real reason that would make me seem scrawny) I still like small hugs though.

Occasional hugs are ok, I guess. I hug my g/f, three friends, and my mom(she's the nice one), but no one else.

My family doesn't hug much unless like there really happy or raelly sad...

So I guess I'm ok with hugs.

I love hugs, I never used to but since I have met my band mates things have changed. I never ever hugged guys I was like.. Er... No! but now it don't bother me.
Big, strong hugs are great and they have to be big stong hugs as I'm 6"0 and a big guy xd
I will never complain of girls hugging me, I'm a hug hound like that but it makes me laugh when they hug me and they think its hard and I don't even feel it.. lol

Depends on who it is, why they are hugging me and how well I know them.

Annoying kids trying to be random, running up and hugging me, usually get a face full of concrete. After all they could be after my wallet. twisted

if it's an aquaintence, I'll hug back but fel akward.

I only hug my dad or my sister. Well, almost all of my sisters friend piledrive me to the ground when they see me with "hugs". I like giving them, but get them more often then a healthy number.
