vasily suddenly stopped and stared at her dumbly. "uhhhhh ok then" he mumbled feeling a bit unwanted and not noticing the large pack of griffons flying through the sky. he sighed and walked a ways down the path finding a bench of his own he sat down closing his eyes briefly before pulling out the jar of blood he had bought earlier. he smiled a little as he opened the jar and drank about half of its contents, he grinned to himself wiping traces away from his mouth. he felt much better and put the lid back on the jar saving it for night if she wanted it, even if she didnt want his company. he sighed again and closed his eyes relaxing.

Mobius got to town and reformed himself. There stood Vasily, readying a rifle. Above him was the mother griffin, with Night in it's claws! "No! Don't shoot! It only wants the baby!" Mobius cried. Mobius then placed his hands on the ground. I hate to this this in such a public place, but we need to confine the mother until things can be settled." The ground started to rumble and glow with a blue light. "Vasily! Keep the griffin distracted!"

(Durhhh...Tough spot you left me in!) Night looked straight into the beasts eyes. The golden colour of them almost mesmerized her and it was too late when she realized that it wouldn't blink. She avoided being beaked to death by narrowly dodging the creature, but it still wanted to kill her as it swooped past her. Sitting on the back of the bench, it flapped its wings furiously.

vasily now relaxed found it hard to miss the preseance of a few very large griffons less than a hundred feet from him. he opened one of his eyes then bolted to his feet. "holy hell" he shouted realising night was still over there. he started towrds them slowly at first but now almost running as he reached for his rifle.

Night had gone down when she dodged the griffin and the creature now swooped to strike her in the ground. Night rolled away from its beak but the bird made a deep cut in her left cheek. Night turned into mist now, reforming on the griffins back, her hands wrapped around the neck.
"Don't shoot it!"

"I don't know!" The creature had lifted off the ground, trying to shake Night off. But she had an excellent balance, plus she was strong. Griffin made a flip in the air and she still managed to keep her hold. The baby on the bench had come out of the sack. Looking upwards with its big, scared eyes it let out a cry.

vasily looked at the baby then back at the griffin. he suddenly ran over to the bench and picked up the baby making sure the mother noticed it. she immideatly stopped thrashing around and stared at the baby for a moment before making a similar cry, the baby was starting to move in his hands so he put it on the ground where it promptly ran over to the big griffin's leg and started rubbing against it. vasily started making signs to night that she get off the griffin slowly.

Night released her grip of the griffin when it was still in air. She fell on her back on the ground as the griffin mother grabbed her son and flew away. Night shivered on the ground, holding her hand up in front of her. It let out smoke.

"that was not pretty" he murmured "what was with the smoke?" he asked her sounding confused.

She was careful not to touch anything with her burned hand. "That is what silver does to us" she said quietly, trying to recall something distant. She began a poem with a silent voice. "Griffin rider wore silver and so did his mount, they banished together all unpure, Whoever would bloodthirsty vampires haunt Doom by his hand was sure" Night finished the little rhyme, her face now became dark. "The griffin wasn't just some regular beast. Vampire hunters use them"

vasily listened to her his eyes wide open in plain terror. "oh hell" he mutterd not knowing that. he looked at her hand again. "come on" he mutterd pushing past his unpleasnt surprise. he led her to a nearby bench and sat her on it going through his things to find a med kit. as he went through them he pulled out the jar of blood and handed it to her "here" he said sounding a bit rushed. finally finding what he was looking for he put some burn cream on her hand rubbing it in slightly before wrapping her hand gently but firmly with gauze and taping it together. "there" he said looking a bit happier "just keep that hand and bandage dry, and dont take off the bandage for the next few days youll be right as rain" he said trying to cheer her up a bit as he sat next to her not speaking, just looking and watching her.

She looked at the bandage for a while and smiled. Wrapping her healthy arm around him she whispered: "I couldn't survive if it weren't for you" Something warm and wet dropped on his neck.
It started to rain and a distant thunder was heard.
