Uhm, I'm looking at Mutate Digivolve right now and it says nothing about not being able to Digivolve regularly.
*Include the digimon you wish your digimon to mutant digivolve into when purchasing this item.
*If digimon has 2 attributes, you can just choose 1 of them.
*You can use this item one time only per digimon you have and not per tamer.
*Even though your digimon is already a restricted digimon, you still cannot mutant digivolve it into another restricted digimon.
*Even though your digimon is already a limited digimon, you still cannot mutant digivolve it into another lmited digimon.
*Can be used to transform your limited/restricted/special into normal form but not Vice versa and this cannot be undone.
*I've updated this since the mutant digivolve item is quite abused for some reason.

I argued that to, but if you look in the Q&A area then you'll find Liger's resoning. That's why I cannot just digivolve my Myotismon...

Uhm... Liger put up the rules for Unexpected Digivolve. I only Mutated so I'm pretty sure that I can digivolve normally.

Uhm... Liger put up the rules for Unexpected Digivolve. I only Mutated so I'm pretty sure that I can digivolve normally.

Also, I found your answer. You Unexpected first before you Mutated, cutting off all basic forms of Digivolution.
