Diabetic or not, Alaine still had a sweet tooth. He knew he shouldn't be drowning his food, especially since the male only had regular syrup to offer. But he didn't care, if it bit him in the but later, at least he could say that he ate a good meal that morning. As he slowly ate his food, he could feel the males eyes upon him, knowing he was likely to disapprove of his choice but choosing right to not say anything. He took a few more bites, sipping on his milk, smirking at the males reply. Though his lack of response made him curious as to what kind of payment would be demanded of him. He could think of maybe one thing the male might use for payment, but anything else, he hadn't the foggiest. Looking back down at his plate, he ate contently, thinking about what they might do today and if he wanted to even go in for work today. Even though he was scheduled, he'd done more work the other day than he'd done in the past six months and was completely up to date with all his paperwork and chores.

"It didn't take long before Liam was finished with his breakfast. He stood up grabbing his plate and cup as well. Liam stepped away from the table and went into the kitchen. There was still a mess he needed to clean up, so he figured it was better to clean it not than wait later. He turned on the faucet letting the water heat up as he gathered everything and set it int the sink. Liam started on washing the dishes and setting them in the strainer. After he was finished with the dishes, he dried everything off and put it away. Now that his kitchen was clean for the moment, he returned to the table and sat down. Elsie wandered over to the table and sat before him. He smiled down at her, as he petted her head as he sat there. Liam didn't have much planned for the day, he wondered if Alaine would head into work. He hoped not after all he didn't want to see him leave. Liam looked over at Elsie as she remained sitting before him. He needed to take her outside for a walk, he normally did it every day but sometimes he forgot. Perhaps once Alaine was done they could go for a walk. "

Alaine was in absolutely no rush, so he took his time as he ate. Resuming his meal,he looked up when the male finished his own meal minutes later. He would have gone in there to help as he heard the male clanking around and looked over his shoulder to see him cleaning up. But since the male didn't ask and he didn't want to let his food go cold after having the male go through the trouble of making it, he remained seated. By the time the male came back, he was down to his last few bites and a few gulps away from cleaning off his drink. He looked down as he felt something pass by him that wasn't any body part belonging to Liam, spotting Elsie by her masters feet. Alaine smiled and went back to eating, soon finishing and washing down the last of his milk. Taking the items in hand, he rose from his seat and wandered into the kitchen, cleaning them off and setting them in the sink, not sure where else he should put them. Coming back , he walked around the table and behind the male. Leaning down, he draped his arms around his shoulders, pressing a soft kiss to the males' cheek. "Thanks for the meal." he murmured before pulling away. Now that he'd eaten something, time for the lovely truth on how much overkill he'd done to himself. Passing by, Alaine gave Elsie a light pat on the head and moved back to the males bedroom. There he pulled out all his supplies, going through the old ritual, grimancing and being careful not to get any blood on anything other than himself. It was okay if he got blood on the carpet or something while at home, but he didn't wanna mess up Liam's place with the ick factor that came with treating himself. Once done, he recapped the needle, put away all the supplies and pill bottles, zipping up his bag and walking back out to the kitchen to throw away the needle. "So, anything on the agenda today?" he asked, leaning against the door frame after disposing his trash.

"As he sat here playing with Elsie, he glanced over at Alaine seeing he was almost finished. He smiled down at her as she sat before him, Elsie moved away from him as she walked over to her toys. She grabbed a small tennis ball and returned to him. Liam grabbed the tennis ball from her, and threw it across the room. He watched as Alaine went into the kitchen and set his plate into the sink. Elsie returned with the ball, and Liam threw it again for her. Liam felt Alaine come up behind him, putting his arms around him, and kissing his cheek. He looked up at the male and smiled, "Your welcome." Liam spoke as the male drifted away to his bedroom. He knew the male was most likely giving himself his injections. Liam continued to play with Elsie until Alaine returned into the room. He stood up and walked over to the male. Liam smiled up at him, as he wrapped his arms around his waist. He leaned up and kissed the male on the lips before pulling away. Liam released the male, "I don't know yet. I need to walk Elsie first." He spoke as he stepped away from Alaine and walked toward his bedroom. "

Leaning against the frame, he couldn't help but smile watching the male play with Elsie. It was so cute, it almost made him wish he had a camera. When Liam stood, he arched an eyebrow curiously, his arms instinctively wrapping around the male as leaned up for a kiss. He kissed him back, dragging it out for a nice little minute before the pulled away. He sighed and let go as Liam stepped away from him, really not wanting to let him go just yet, but knew his responsibilities came first. "Hmm, sounds fun." he said, pealing himself away from the wall and following the male but not going into his room so he could give him some privacy. "Want me to come with you?" he asked. Alaine knew he ought to, not that he was going to steal anything, but it was the polite thing to do. Also, he just didn't feel like being alone in his boyfriends home. He wasn't that comfortable in staying alone in someone else's home, like with people, it took him time to adjust. Alaine stood outside the males door awaiting his answer, and giving him his privacy. As he waited, Elsie came up the hall, her tail high and wagging as he came towards him. He momentarily tensed, relaxing as the dog nudged his hand and licked his fingers, petting her head and lightly scratching her behind the ears.

"As Liam walked into his room, he knew the male was standing outside his door. He didn't mind really if the male came in, after all it wasn't as if he had much to hide. Liam knew the male was simply just giving him his privacy. He walked over to his closet, as he heard the male speak. "Sure, I don't mind." Liam spoke happy that the male would join him. He opened the closet doors and grabbed the first thing he saw. Quickly getting dressed in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Liam grabbed a clean pair of socks slipping them on as well. He stepped out of his room and went into the bathroom, stepping past the male seeing him petting Elsie. Liam grabbed his brush and started to tame his hair. Once down, he brushed his teeth and left the bathroom. He walked past Alaine and into the living room. Liam grabbed his shoes slipping them on. He glanced over at Alaine, "Ready to go?" Liam asked curiously as he grabbed Elsie's leash. She quickly came over to him, and allowed him to hook the leash onto her collar. "

Alaine grinned at the males answer, still petting Elsie while waiting on the male. He'd already taken care of brushing and was being lazy about changing clothes. He wasn't too concerned and wasn't trying to impress anyone, he would change later. When the male came out of one room and into another, he pealed away from the wall to go pull on his shoes and grab his jacket, pulling up the hood and nodding to the male, waiting for him to hook up Elsie. When they were both ready, he stepped through the door and walked along side the male with his hands in his pockets, smiling at the glorious sunshine shine, the fresh air,it'd been awhile since he'd gotten out for some fresh air.

"Seeing that Alaine was ready, he followed the male toward the door. He lead Elsie outside, and locked the door behind them. Liam walked along side the male, as Elsie walked before them. She sniffed the ground and the air, looking around her at the different people. He glanced over at Alaine seeing his hands inside his pockets as they walked. Liam smiled seeing that the male was enjoying the outside air as well. He held onto the leash as Elsie pulled him along. "So since I took you out yesterday, perhaps you can take me to some where you like?" Liam asked Alaine suggesting something they could do. After all he wanted to see what the male liked, or at least places he went. "

Walking with the male was nice. The air was clear, the day was gorgeous, and he was just all around happy. Last night had been brilliant, so walking around helped loosen up the muscles that screamed at him when he woke up. He looked over at the male as he spoke, grinning when the male suggested another date. He'd been thinking of a few places he'd wanted to take the male since they got back last night, but since he had been unsure if the male even wanted a second date so he kept his mouth shut. He walked a bit ahead of the male, turning to walk backwards, "You're not allergic to anything are you?" he asked, curiously so he could try and come up with an idea on where they could go to eat. He already had a few ideas of where he wanted to take the male, and knew the male was open minded enough to at least give them a try. He glanced over at Elsie as he felt her bump beside him, laughing to himself at her enthusiasm about being outside. She really was a cute little dog, and seeing her like this only made her only cuter.

"Liam saw no reason to not go on a second date. He liked being with the male and perhaps going on another date wouldn't be such a good idea. Liam watched as the male moved away from him, and started to walk backwards. He smiled up at the male as he spoke, glad he wasn't the only one just thinking about some where else to go. Liam shook his head as the male spoke, he didn't think he was allergic to anything. "No, why?" He asked curiously as he walked in front of the male hoping he wouldn't trip on anything. Liam watched as Alaine laughed, he liked his laughter it was amusing and happy. He smiled seeing Elsie as she was excited about being outside. She wagged her tail happily as she walked along side Alaine. Liam chuckled, he was happy that Elsie liked Alaine but then again she liked everyone. He liked her careless ways it was amusing to him. Elsie stopped for a few seconds and took her time to smell a bush. Liam stopped as he turned away to give her privacy. Once she was finished, he started moving again walking down the sidewalk. "

Alaine smirked over at the male when he questioned him. "Just making sure." he replied, not giving away any details. If Liam could hold his secrets, then Alaine would do the same. Though he doubted the male would be as curious as he was when he was trying to find out when and where all they would go. "So when do you feel like going out?" he asked, wanting to go ahead and set a date. He had a few things buzzing around in his brain for ideas, but in order to come up with some solid, he wanted a date first. Call it OCD or just good planning, but that was just the way his mind worked. In order to get a good plan going, he needed to know dates and times and all that other good stuff. He knew it was impossible to make a date perfect, but he could always try. Besides there were so many places he could think of right now that he wanted to take the male to that it was hard to decide. Giving him a time and date could help him plan better, rule out some places he knew closed by certain times. He stood beside the male, lost in thought as they waited on Elsie to take care of business, when they started to move again, he looked over at the male, smiling down at him.

"Surprises were something Liam liked though with Alaine he was curious. He couldn't help but be curious as to where Alaine would take him. Liam knew he wasn't going to give him any hints, especially as to where he could take him. He liked the male's idea of pay back it was amusing and yet annoying at the same time. Liam could understand how Alaine wanted information last night. He looked up at Alaine as he spoke, "Whenever you want. I have nothing else to do today." Liam spoke wondering if Alaine would take him some where today, or perhaps another. He reached out and took the male's hand as they walked. Liam wanted to know where Alaine would take him, but he would just have to wait and see. "

Alaine looked down once more as he felt his hand being taken from the warmth of his jacket pocket, squeezing the males hand lightly. "Hmm, I'll have to see. Even though I'm caught up on paper work, the warhorse still has me scheduled for tonight." he replied, though he was already planning on calling in and refusing to come in. Hell, he was caught up, worked all his other post, what else was there for him to do this week? When they'd invested in this business, the deal was, so long as he kept up with his work, he could work as much or less as he wanted. Well he was finally caught up for a change and wanted nothing more than to take the day off. "If not today, when is your next day off?" he asked curiously, just so he could have a back up plan in case his plans of playing hooky became a flop. Knowing Sam the way he did, saying something like he wanted to take the day off because he had a date, wouldn't go over well. If anything, he would be working hard to just get Sam to let him off. The man wasn't the easiest person to work with and he didn't like excuses. He was going to have to prove that all was well caught up and missing one day wasn't going to hurt the business. They may be best friends, but as soon as they stepped inside the building, the friendship ended and everything was nothing but business.

"Liam smiled as Alaine squeezed his hand as he took it. He nodded as the male spoke, knowing he had to work tonight, but he wished he didn't. Liam knew the male had obligations to Sam especially since he was co-owner of the club as well. He didn't mind going on another day when they both had off. Liam continued to walk, as they walked around the block heading back toward his apartment. He looked up at Alaine he spoke, "Wednesday is my next day off." Liam spoke, it was Saturday, so his next day off would be in four days. He watched as Elsie moved toward the door of the apartment. Liam opened the door and lead Alaine inside. He walked up the stairs, and unlocked the door. Liam released Alaine's hand as he unhooked Elsie from her leash. She immediately went to get a drink out of her bowl. Liam closed the door behind them, as he walked over to the couch to sit down. "

He knew that he had work and it was important, it was part of being responsible. But hearing the male speak, he wasn't sure he could wait that long. He was already reluctant about just going home today, could he really hold out for four days? He didn't think so. Rounding the block, the males apartment came into view once, he looked down at the ground in thought trying to think what to do. He definitely wanted to spend the day with the male, and he was more than ready to go on another date with him. Going back inside the building and into the apartment, Alaine went to the males bedroom, retrieving his phone, press the first button on speed dial.

In just two rings, Sam picked up the phone. "Hey Laney." the male said, a hint of amusement to his voice. Alaine growled at the nickname, the male knowing him to hate it with a boiling passion. "Don't call me Laney, you b*****d." he said with utter detest. Sam whined on the other end of the line, followed by a small sigh. A sign that he would quit, for now and for Alaine to go ahead to say what he had to see. "Alright so how's today looking?" he asked curiously, needing to know what workload awaited him. Awaiting his reply, he heard papers scrambling around on the other end for a few moments. "Um.....nothing really. Everything's clear for that bar mitzvah next month, the bills are all paid, you've put in more hours than needed this week. You're actually good for about week." Alaine raised an eyebrow. Was he serious? Was had he really done all the much in the last few days? He knew he'd been working like he had nothing else better to do, but he hadn't realized he'd done that much. If that was the case, he might as well go ahead to take that time for himself. Or at least a few days, which he proceeded to tell Sam. Two days off for now and the other five could just be held for sick and personal days until he felt he needed them. Sam kindly agreed to his terms, which surprised the hell out of him. Normally Sam would never comply so easily, it made him wonder why the man was being so understand. Was this a test? Either way, he didn't stress too much and soon thanked him and hung up the phone, slipping it into his back pocket and shedding his jack. Wandering through the apartment, he went into the living room, plopping down on the couch beside the male, and grinning over at him. "How do you feel about German food?" he asked, leaning back into the cushion.
