Already down to about 49 and suppose to get colder. gonk
Lucky for me, I live near water 'cuz "they" said that "inland" is suppose to get near or just below freezing (32).
Better get ready for snow...

Wa-onderer_1 gonk That is why I changed the Update Settings to "Let Me choose when to download & install updates' ". stare Hope for the best! emotion_hug emotion_brofist  =^_^= Yea, the new windows doesn't let you do that. Microsoft made it so it automatically pushes updates to you. Only get to choose when to restart not what updates to download/install which is soooo stupid! yep, have that problem....the update crashed the log in, so i couldn't use the computer at all........... what we did, crash it by unplug it, poof, no power, then in the power reboot screen we pick start in safe mode, then in safe mode (they use default log in) we did a "dump fix" recall thing...(can't remember the long 12+ letter name), and that undid the update, so the computer works again...... (is not sure if they fixed the update or if their was just a new one, but computer still works....) sorry we been gone some....

No snow here but did get down to around 33 degrees. ^^;

So 2 people from my team got let go today at work...manager wasn't happy about HR and parent company's decision but at least they said that it would be the only layoffs...though not sure if they'll change their mind next year if the economy is still slow. At least I have job security for a while. Here's a happy seal to make myself feel better.
