"Huh? I have no problems with it..." Aden found it a little odd, sure, but he found this to be just as much Blizzard's call. He certainly had no issues with anyone else coming as well, except for maybe his sister.

Hurry up if you want to see a bit of action. We're starting a battle now." I said to him. "Alright. be there in a few seconds." Ryan says. and he is good on his word. Just a few seconds later, Ryan and his Gardevoir teleport in. He recalls his pokemon.

Aden just found himself blinking. "That... was kinda fast." Ryan wasted no time, it seemed.

"Joys of psychic Pokemon. Alright, are we going to get this battle going or what?" I asked.
"We were just waiting on you two. Now since it seems that you have gotten yourselves composed...go! Quagsire!" Called one fisherman.
"Psyduck! Come on out!" The other one called out.
The Pokeballs was tossed upon the bridge and out came the Pokemon, ready for a fight.

"Sorry for that. Things like that can happen." Aden spoke up, looking back to the two. Psyduck and Quagsire.. not too bad, he had figured. He wasn't fully certain of just what Zangoose knew, or what would be effective.
In an effort to find that out, he nodded and looked to his Nidoran. Waters needed to be tested here. "Let's see how we can make this work... Nidoran, Horn Attack! Keep your sights on Psyduck!" He called, with the Pokemon quick to comply.

He wasn't fully certain of just what Zangoose knew, or what would be effective. In an effort to find that out, he nodded and looked to his Nidoran. Waters needed to be tested here. "Let's see how we can make this work... Nidoran, Horn Attack! Keep your sights on Psyduck!" He called, with the Pokemon quick to comply. "Hmm..." I looked over. Aden was after the Psyduck. "Zangoose! After the Quagsire!" I shouted. "Go!" "Zangoose!" The Zangoose rushed forth down the bridge after the Quagsire. "Slash attack!" I shouted. With quick feet and quicker claws, Zangoose struck down the Quagsire, causing quite a considerable amount of damage upon it. The Horn Attack on the Psyduck connected as well, causing some damage to it. "Looks like we got a couple of toughies." "We might have to kick things up." "Psyduck! Use Water Gun on Quagsire!" "Wait, wha?" I spoke up. The Psyduck blasted the Quagsire, and almost instantly, the Quagsire felt a bit better. "Water Absorb. Figured." I said. "Quagsire! Use Mud Shot on the Nidoran!" The Quagsire then fired off a massive glob of mud towards Aden's Nidoran.

This was something Aden could say he wasn't fully prepared for, with Nidoran finding himself hit hard by the mud. It wasn't enough to send him packing by any means, but it certainly left a mark. "Oh no. Nidoran, are you alright?" His answer didn't take long, what with mud being ahaken off and all.
It was then that he had a crazy idea. Something he was oddly curious about. "That's how it is? Okay... Nidoran, just bear with me. Captivate!" He was still focused on Psyduck, though Nidoran wondered what the heck was going through his mind now.
Finding it not all that different from Flatter, though, he tried to muster up a little charm towards the Psyduck... even if he'd rather await evolution and drag the Pokemon through the dirt afterward. Maybe take that Quagsire along for the ride.

The Zangoose then started to lay it on thick, drawing attention to itself and ticking off its opposition. Can anyone say nasty distraction? "Psyduck! Try uh. Fury Swipes!" The Psyduck trainer shouted. "Quagsire! Use Water Gun!" The two Pokemon rushed for Zangoose. Zangoose braced himself, getting blasted by the Water Gun, only to get followed up with Fury Swipes. I looked over towards Aden.

Aden had half a mind to comment on Nidoran's... tastes when it came to these kinds of comments. Figuring such a notion would result in getting a horn jabbed into his ankle, he decided not to. It could've been worse.
The taunt, however, was a welcome addition. Get the heat on something else, while an assault could be taken otherwise. He had something in mind, but it still didn't involve Quagsire much. Except for dealing with his support, anyway.
Either way, it gave ample time for Aden to have Nidoran charge up. "I think you might have other concerns. Nidoran, now! Shock Wave at Psyduck!"
It also gave ample time for the electrical discharge to fly out, straight for its target.

The Zangoose hopped over the Quagsire with an electrified claw then struck down the Psyduck, putting it out of commission. It was just only two on one now. "Well. That went...rough." The Psyduck trainer said. "Its not over yet. Quagsire, use Mud Bomb!" he shouted. "Go for the Nidoran!" "QUAAAAG!" The Quagsire then fired off a huge glob of mud off towards Nidoran.

I couldn't blame Aden too much for wanting to call back his Nidoran like that, despite it could fight maybe a minute more. Fact of the matter was, with what I had in mind, it would only take about that long. "Zangoose, hang back a second." "Getting scared now of my Quagsire?" The fisherman asked. "Hardly." "Well let's just see! Quagsire! Use Iron Tail!" He shouted. "Quaaaaag!" Of course he would put a odd trick or two on that Quagsire. A trick he will soon regret. "Zangoose! Brace yourself!" I shouted. Zangoose stood its ground and the Iron Tail smashed hard into Zangoose. Zangoose winced hard from the attack. "Counter!" The Zangoose grabbed the Quagsire by the tail and spun him around hard. After a couple of spins out of the Quagsire, it found itself facing Zangoose, only for it to take one hard claw shot, smashing it off the bridge and landing in the water with a huge splash to follow. The Quagsire would soon float to the top of the water, knocked out. "Ow." The fisherman said, rubbing his jaw. Even that made him cringe. "Looks like the match is ours." I said.

Ryan even flinches from that last move. Yikes. He knew Blizz was a tough fight, but that hurt just watching it. He was now very glad he missed having to fight him all those years ago.

Aden found himself cringing from what he just witnessed, suddenly glad he wasn't the one on the receiving end of that. If he didn't have enough of a reason to fear facing him proper one of these days, this was enough to fulfill it. "...Ow." He didn't have much more to say on the matter.
