Considering what day it is... I am going to kind of not take anything anyone says seriously.

I can honestly say, I hate this day with a passion. Light hearted tricks and pranks are fine, as long as not intentional harm is done, but in the past, I've known and experienced some awful things as a result of this day. What makes people think that it's okay to utterly humiliate someone just because of a day like this?

Unless something else happened? neutral

When I was younger, guys used to pretend to like me and ask me out and then laugh at me and tell their friends they made me believe someone liked me =/

Last year, some girl came up to me at school and, in front of twenty or so people, loudly asked when I was going to start paying child support. I was horrified. I had never met this girl, nor had ever had sex with her (like I would WANT to......yuck). She then pointed at me and laughed heartily. I wanted to crawl underneath a rock and just cry a little.

Yeah, but do you know how damaging to self esteem it is when someone asks you out and then laughs and the entire class makes fun of you? e.e I was only 13

Actually, while both of those are downright mean, I'd have to say Tolera's is a good bit worse, at least in my opinion. The child support gag was just stupid, and you could have probably turned it around against them if ya wanted, but nyeh. Not saying it wasn't worth being upset over, I can imagine it must've been pretty darn embarassing. Just, I imagine what they did to Tolera was a lot more hurtful.
Again, though, that wasn't a nice thing to do to either of ya. *hugs and nuzzles both of them* >-<

man april fools day pranks suck. I had the same thing happen to me as Tolera back in grade 7, and I really wasn't liked by many people then. As for you Fog that would have been a perfect chance to make a scene and do something rediculus right back, man you could counter child support with so many things. Something like "I'm sorry but I am already having trouble paying the other 4 people who have my kid." and see what teh person says back.

hehe my ex-boyfriend and one of our schools well known lesbians had a really funny conversation about that on the bus one day. They were both like 5 or 6 seats apart and were yelling at each other about child care bills and who should be paying what. It was really funny mostly because they are both homosexuals of the opposite sex.

Although this didn't happen during April's 'Fools' day, it hurt me.
A girl asked me when I was young and not very smart (towards girls), if I would go out with her, I said no but then her friend took me aside and talk to me until I accepted. It only lasted 3 months, and every time I look at what happened, I feel like I was a fool for ever being talked into it. This has also had the affect that the girl I want to ask out.... well.... I'm scared to ask her out for a few reasons... but what happened is one of them.
But during these years after the event happened, I have turned down a lot of girls... and the ones I liked... have luckily never asked me sweatdrop
