Slate and Nena were walking through the trees, winding their way back to where Kichi and Kaderot were "fighting", but as soon as they emerged from the treeline, she stopped instantly with a soft, "Oh no..."
They had gone the wrong direction, and had arrived not at the area where her comrades were, but at an all-too-familiar stretch of land that was blackened, burnt, and dead, with a sickly yellow and red-smeared sky and sulfurous air.
Her old homeland, where she had been forced to grow up and work as a slave...

Nena looked around, "hum......This place is cool!!!!! Huh Slate?!" She giggled.

Suddenly terrified that the little girl would run off, Slate gripped her hadns tighter, and said, "No. This place is not cool at all. We should head back--" She turned back to the forest, only to find a darkly cloaked figure standing there, blocking her way. Turning back to face the barren landscape, she found more of them had appeared.
Some of her old master's apprentices, who hadn't been at all disturbed by the prospect of torturing her as her master himself had done.

Nena cocked her head to the side, she smiled. He reyes turned red and she jumpped. Driving her teeth into their necks. Her eyes widened as she sucked their blood...
Amu relaxed, she emptyed her mind, as Yoshitsune had said.

Yoshitsune did the same. Meditation was also a great method of healing and rejuvenation, and he felt completely restored each time.

Unfortunately, despite Nena's bravery, the minions were too powerful. Years of remaining loyal to her master had turned them into vastly strong acolytes, and now they jumped forward to drg the girl off of their comrade.
"DON'T TOUCH HER!" Slate screamed as she shoved them away, grabbing Nena and pushing her towards the trees as the acolytes grabbed at her clothes, dragging her baclk and trapping her. "Nena! Go get your mother and Yoshi! RUN!"

Kichi sensed Slate's trouble and immediately called off the match. "Slate needs our help now Destiny. Let's roll Kaderot!" he roared as he took off towards the slavers apprentices.

Amu senced it, she got up and was gone in two seconds flat. She took one of them off of Slate and blased his brains out all over the ground. She turned to more....
Nena didn't listen, she opened her eyes, they where crimson red. She didn't seam herself. She killed five vampires...

Yoshitsune was killing vampire like crazy, his Amahagane making their moves seem clumsy and slow. However, he knew that this was not the main event. These were minions; footsoldiers, of no value whatsoever. There'd be a leader or an elite group hiding in the shadows, ready to emerge when these ones failed... And they'd be much more of a challenge...

Slate staggered as one of the acolytes jumped down in front of her, striking her knees with a sharply edged cudgel. She slashed at it, her claws raking across his face, but as he fell aside, Nena became visible. The girl was in a Bloodfrenzy, an extremely dangerous and highly unstable state of mind that was very hard for half-vampires to attain, while Slate herself was no stranger to it. But what worried her was the fact that Nena obviously didn't recognize her, and that in her rage she was preparing to pounce...

And she was about to, but a gold locket flashed. She blinked, nodded to Slate and kept going....
Amu was covered in blood by the time it was done. She stood there, waiting for the grand fight. She limpped slightly, but focased on the task.

Kuta-san "Hmmph! Like you can boss me around Destiny!" he said offendedly " Besides it's that maniac who attacked me in a highly populated area with THAT attack in the first place, make him vow not to use it until his time comes and let us alone." The destiny dragon looked at him, "be silent " he order and he couldnt open his mouth, "great Armageddon release the child and leave him in control" The dragon looked away, "why i want t be rid of there kinda he said pointing and then facing destiny, "they control our kind and let them do this" Destiny looked at him and sighed, "we dont want another war.. the universe cant handle another one"

Slate straightened up and looked around at her friends. "Are you all okay?" She asked as she tensed up, feeling a slight prickle that meant there was more to come running up her back. She looked at herself, and realized with horror that Benkei's Amahagane was missing. "No! Where is it?!" She hurriedly began looking around for it; she knew she'd had it before the battle...and none of the acolytes had escaped, so what had happened to it?
