Blizzard120 "Twelve years?" I said, looking back. "God, as far as I know, he always had that Pidgeot. Then again, I don't really keep up with Falkner, or Jackie, too much. Just barely enough to stay in the know, which just one of those reasons why we have those White City conferences every year. Generally though, the Mahogany Gym...center of focus and nothing more." I said. I then looked back once more, staring at Ryan and Aden. "Oh come on. Being with me can't be THAT bad, can it?" I asked. "I think Whitney's Miltank, whatever horror that thing's supposed to be, might be my easiest fight." Aden commented.

"No. being WITH you is not the issue. working with you is actually very enjoyable. Having to deal with other who know OF you on our own...THAT is the issue." Ryan clarifies.

"You may regret those words, Aden." I said to him. "Anyways, I guess I tend to bring that out in a lot of people. Hey, can't help it if I try to excel in whatever. It's what teacher taught." I said.

It's what teacher taught." I said. "And you do that to a T." Ryan says. "Also, Aden, you will most definitely regret those words. there is a reason Whitney's Miltank is called the "Cow of Doom" even to this day. It was legendary amongst trainers when I fought her." Ryan adds.

If Aden's face could form words by itself, it would've been best summed as "oh crap". "Cow. Of Doom. What?" Something told him that fight was going to suck a lot more than he thought.

"Yea, its basically at that point, trainers finally realize the gloves are off." I said. "They got to go through Whitney, then Morty, then you may have a bit of a easy time with Chuck, but then pressure's on again with Jasmine, then my teacher, then Clair, not counting any apprentices in between hand mind you." I said to him.

"And you're well past that "cow of doom". Ah crap." Aden didn't have any other words in mind.

"It's intimidating now, and you surely will hear those horror stories of gym battles, but go in like you would any other gym. Give it your all and take it to them. Do not back down." I said.

"I didn't say I planned to. But it'd be like you challenging Pryce for his badge." Aden said. It was the best analogy he could think of, though very unlikely to ever happen.

"Unlikely it may be, you just gotta have a stronger resolve. and also train your pokemon so they get stronger as well. no good if you get stronger and they don't. That is usually gets a good portion of the trainers who get flattened by Whitney's Miltank. They rush through Falkner and Bugsy. But when they hit Goldenrod, they are woefully unprepared for Whitney. You, will not be one of those trainers whether it be by your own resolve or Blizz and I teaching you such." Ryan explains.

"Resolve isn't too much of a problem now." Aden said. "It's going in a way that makes the impossible look weak. I'm almost afraid to find out how it'll get when they find out you're here too." He looked at Ryan with that last word, already aware of everything. "They all probably know that I'm with Blizz. A pulled punch isn't happening."

"I don't think I'd want to try that. I'm with Blizz, now you too, and get through Johto's gyms? Kanto's might fear the others weren't trying hard enough." Aden still wasn't going to back down by any means. But he was certainly noting the newfound difficulty.

"I wouldn't imagine so, actually, Ryan." I said to him. "Not the Kanto leaders, anyways. When years ago, when Johto trainers started stepping over the border to go after the Kanto leaders on a more than constant basis with trained Pokemon from Johto, they stepped up the A-game nearly ten-fold. At least the leaders themselves." I said to him. "Though, I can't say I'm too pleased who they got to fill in the Viridian City spot after the last gym leader got exposed to being a crime boss. That emo...p***k..." I said, crossing my arms.

Ryan cringes on that last part. "I remember that guy. emo is the nicest word I would call him." Ryan says.
