Only one joke was played on me today. My Dad's wife called and told me a $100 check came in the mail for me. I was more confused as to why it came and why she opened mail that was for me to really be all excited. And when she said "April's Fools!".. I was just... "Huh?" It wasn't really a joke because I didn't care.
EDIT:: I've just got too much drama in my life recently. Between my family, college and now.. well, persona issues.. It's just not worth it.. I'll check on my Gaia daily, because I've got edit-orders and art coming in.. but.. I won't be posting anywhere. This is sort of a goodbye for now.. but, you can always hit me up on my messengers. I've got my archiving turned on for MSN and Yahoo... I'm not sure yet, but if things keep going downhill, I'll just shut down my internet completely. This might last as little as a week, or as long as a few months, I love you all.

Where will we turn when our fathers and mothers, our brothers and sisters, our spouses or significant others, our sons and daughters, cry out from the pain of disease, or the terror of years of slow and agonizing death?
Where, at least, if we discard the biological sciences, our most valuable tool for building treatment strategies?
We could always just shoot the sick and injured, as we might do with a grievously wounded dog.

I have a friend who's seriously ill who lives in England. He's had his entire bowels removed, and he's getting two more operations that MAY cure his cancer. =/
