Tails sank down to his belly, gnawing on the berry. At this moment, it was the best, most crisp berry he'd ever put in his mouth. He lost himself for a moment, only making such sounds as 'gnyah-gnyah-gnyah-.'

With only the stem left, Tails rolled onto his side pulled himself closer and began to gnaw at Blizz's ankle. At this point he was only playing it up.

Grinning, Tails rolled onto his back, hands and feet folded over in the air. "Maybe," he said. "It's been awhile. It kinda feels good toward the end."

That grin grew wider to show all his teeth now. "I think I can tell what it takes to use confuse ray now," he said. Without warning, the boy's eyes flashed a faint blue and with them the vague aftertaste of coke.

"Yes!" cheered Tails, and he rolled out of Blizz's hands to go roll around in celebration. That he -could- pull something like that was enough for him. Maybe Confuse Ray -was- small time compared to Hex. It was still the case that Will-o-wisp was small time compared to Confuse Ray. As anyone that has lived long enough in the wild knew: any improvement was great improvement.

Reno felt around where Sub was looking before managing to unveil the bare minimum of eyebrow that was there. Cursing silently, he looked back to Sub, "So what are you up to?"

Meeting the disapproving look Sub was giving him, Reno glared back before uttering, "Im not sorry and you've caused worse here before." Letting Sub continue, Tesei chirped in again. "We forgot the wanton mayhem and destruction today? Ah, hell. Guess I need to go cause some havoc." Tesei told him, smirking slightly.

"You mean we need to go cause some havoc, or rather you must first march upstairs and receive a peace disturbance permit from myself, I hear talk that I'm quit the bureaucrat though, so make sure you have all your papers handy." Sub said smarmy, waving a finger.

Reno let out a small sigh before muttering, "F it, you win. So what are we gonna wreck to make things exciting around here?" Reno questioned, still wondering what kind of havoc could be caused around here.

With the day upon us, I sat there upon the couch. Tristen sat, bundled up in the jacket that was given to him a couple of years ago; the one that used to be Mikey's. He started to notice that he seemed to fit in it a bit better now. Probably a testament to how much he grew over the past year. He sat next to Freth, staring down at the floor, thinking a bit. I on the other hand wasn't with the two. I was in my room, making one final touch to Tails's and Tristen's Christmas present for this year...
