I glared in Smoke's general direction, then quickly stopped and pushed Skyler off of me, singeing his shirt slightly. I felt it burn under my touch. "Sorry Skyler...its not personal i dont want to hurt you so you might want to wait till i cool down a little...literally..." I sighed. I pushed myself into one of the corners of Smoke's cart and curled up, keeping my distance so i didnt burn anyone.

Smoke felt like a terd, but she knew what they had to do.. finally. She ran in silence and was invisible. She didnt want them to see the tears that stung her eyes for doing this to them all.
Skyler rolled his eyes and sat next to Kurai, "I told you... there's plants in this world that can withstand huge heats. The white rangulet is one of them. I will be fine Kurai. my cloths might not, but i will." he proved it by holding her hand. some steam came up because he made his hand as cold as the coldest plant. It cooled her hand a bit.

*dont cry Smoke..you know i get angery easily so dont take it personally...*I thought. then i looked up at Skyler with my blank eyes.
"You never know...one day you may not be able to protect yourself.....or anyone else..." I said, the coldness in my voice blunt. "Sometimes things just get too hot to handle.....and i dont want anyone there..." I said. the coldness was still there but it was sad.

Skyler grunted, "I'll still be there..." he squeezed her hand slightly, "no matter how hot your temperature gets... I'll be there to hold you." he looked into her blank eyes and wished she could see the seriousness in his expression.Smoke put up a mind barrier and kept on running. They had lost Cleopatra, Tirain and the army... for now. Smoke then asked *Nile, how much further till we reach the actual Nile River?* nile appeared next to her and he thouht back *about 15 miles. Go a little north, there's a bend and-* Smoke cut in and thouht of the image in the spell book *Where is this place Nile?* he was silent then he whispered *It is 150 miles south of us... towards the army and the two crazies... but past them... to the beginning of the river... where Cleopatra was born* Smoke blinked, *thanks...* she kept running towards the bend in the river. She decided on going there and resting, then leaving after everyone was rested.

I sighed "Its your fault if you get burnt you know..." I said squeezing his hand. "Smoke!!! Can you stop for just a second..." I shouted to the front of the cart were she was...even if she was invisible.

I used my powers to phase though the cart letting go of Skyler's hand, and i stood on solid ground. "Thank you Smoke...just leave me here, I need to go take care of something personal, i will meet up with you when im finished.." I said then i turned and started to walk away from them to the west.

Smoke sighed, "Be careful Kurai... Do you need anyone to go with you? nile?"
"Wait! Kurai! Gah!" Skyler jumped out of the cart and bended some sand up so he wouldn't get hurt. He grabbed her by the shoulder, "Youre not going alone..."

I whipped around as he grabbed my shoulder "Yes i am!!!" I yelled. I brushed his hand off my shoulder ."Just because i cant see doesnt mean i cant do things by myself.." I nearly shouted. then i hugged him "Dont hate me for this" I whispered in his ear. I turned to Smoke "I wont need Nile...its not like im going to look for Cleo and her man-toy..." I said.
I turned back to Skyler " I almost forgot to give this to you" I said stuffing my hand in my pocket and pulling out a pendent that was identical to the four pointed star made of ice, fire and darkness that i had made for myself and the others. I quickly tied it around his neck with my darkness. I turned around "Now you wont forget..." I said as i fell into one of my portals and closed it over the top of me.

miera watched this all with impartial eyes, her heart aching behind her emotionless mask for the relations these people all had
*moves up next to smoke, still on her shadowboard* "hey....i can tell you're stewing up a plan in yor noggin'....care to share?" miera said, kinda jokingly as she waited for a response

Smoke said with a slight worried look on her face, "Yeah,.. i'll share it when we get to the river. it's just 15 miles north. It won't take me very long, maybe 5 minutes to get us all there." She watched Kurai dissappear.
"Dang it Kurai!" Skyler grabbed the air but she was already gone. He then looked down at the necklace and sighed, "I'll be waiting for you..."

"huh....i know you're strong and everything, but want some help?" miera offered, gliding backwards in front of smoke, keeping about a foot's distance from her
"we could just hook up my shadowboard.....it has, like, over 500 hp.....no joke" miera said, smiling

Smoke grinned, "Nice... I'll have to take you up on that offer. Maybe it'll inhance my running ability." She moved so Miera could hook it up to the cart.
Skyler grumbled as he bended some sand that took him back to the cart. He plopped down and started to mumble to himself angrily.
