Do the people of Halloween actually celebrate Christmas? I know they've got Christmas-ey stuff going on at the maul, but have they developed their own traditions for celebrating the holiday like mistletoes and such?

They have Christmastival, which is less about celebrating Christmas and more about celebrating the meeting of Sandy Claws and Jack. Sandy Claws and Jack merchandise, paraphernalia, and costumes are all over the place. Traditions involve present giving, decorating, and lots of singing. Any other traditions? Feel free to come up with some that would go along well with the holiday ~

two questions!

1) During a battle, if you stop rolling dice part way through to create a determined ending (for rp results), does it still count for +2 growth points? Aka bob and sally are rolling, and part way through, we decide to stop so sally can die tragically, scarring bob forever and ever. still 2 growth points?

2) Since the owner's list has been moved to the minisite, are we still to post the growth/icon update in the my student is missing from the front page~ thread? Just wanna make sure for future reference! <3

During the meta, are quest students year1 basic attack rolls since Fear abilities have yet to be approved?

If your character took both FEARhealing Tools and Emergency Aid, can they heal twice as nice - idk, twice with 1d4 OR singly with 1d8?

(expecting not, but hey, doesn't hurt to check lol. I checked and there's two students who've done both, Malodore and Temes. XD)


edit: Also this is a suggestion, but it might be helpful to include info for quest characters in battle for the meta in one of the meta stickies. C: Such as no FEAR abilities for questies, yada yada, making it as clear as possible~

ICLY, about how much time does it take for a FEAR to refresh under normal conditions? Just so we know for our own battles since I have a feeling some may happen too closely to one another to be able to use FEAR in every single fight.

If a character happened to devour part of a JOY creature, would there be IC effects? Say, high levels of happiness, maybe the effects of a slightly tipsy happy drunk? Or would they maybe feel sick?

blade: ICly I'm going to leave that up to you guys, since this is their home under assault a certain amount of leeway can be given over to the FEAR equivalent of adrenaline, and maybe they'll just crash something fierce after the dust settles. OOCly, just stick to the battle system rules ~
