"That's cute." I said.

Tristen though was in his own little world with his own Eevee; scratching it behind the ears, under the mane. The two were just hitting it off. "I wonder how my other Pokemon will like Eevee..." Tristen asked.

"Well, you'll have to introduce them eventually." I said.

"Well, there comes the thing I was trying to emphasize to Aden when I was out with him on his gym tour for that bit." I said. "You got to learn that balance, and not just team building and such like that. Each Pokemon is important; they have feelings, just as you do. They have their likes and dislikes and so on. Tails, you should know this more than anyone." I said to him.

Tristen had a bit of a realization now. Blitzle, who was still young, Natu, Castform, and Mawile that he captured back in Unova. He knew that each one of them we're unique to their species, just like humans and hybrids were. Trying to keep attention to the four of them alone was hard as is. But now, Eevee? Tristen almost grimaced.

"Problems, Tristen?"

"No...at least...I don't...think so."

The Eevee in his lap tilted his head, staring at him in confusion. "Something must be up."

"It's...um...well." Tristen had to think of his words. "Well, how do you do it?"

"What?"

"Keep up with your Pokemon like that?" He asked. "I mean, you got waaaay more than Tails and I have together."

"Well, I'm not going to lie, its not easy, I have to admit, but I keep in mind one other thing too."

"What's that?"

"They're just as much family to me as you, Tails, and Freth are. Incidentally, it kind of goes back to what I was telling you here at day number one when it came to Pokemon training. Do you remember what that is, Tristen?"

"Pokemon depend on you as you depend on them..." Tristen quoted.

"Anyways, boys...have fun, alright?" I told the two of them. "Hey Freth, care to come with me real quick?"

"Hm? Oh yea, sure." She said, getting up and following me.

As we walked off, Tristen also thought about evolving Eevee...part of him didn't care if it evolved though. Eevee was just fine as is as well. "You think I should talk to my Pokemon now?" He asked Tails.

"Well, I guess I can do it now..." He said. He thought for a moment. Blitzle, still being young, probably won't really care any which way. Castform was a bit carefree to really give too much of a care anyhow. Natu tends to be neutral, regardless...He was worried though about Mawile. Mawile was pretty aggressive, regardless of the situation.

"......Take it slow..." He mused. How was it that one takes this sort of thing slow, anyways?

"Ok, I think I can do that. I guess then..." he then took out the Premier Ball. "Here, Eevee, I'll bring you back out in a few minutes, okay?"

"Vuiii." It replied, getting recalled back into the ball.

He then slid off the couch and then started his way off for his and Tails's room to go get his other Pokemon.

Tristen would find that apparently his Blitzle and Natu was sleeping at the moment. In fact, it would be a bit of a sight to see that Natu was perched on top of Blitzle's head. Castform would be wide awake though; if albeit bored as it drifted about the room. Mawile, who was sitting on the bed, looking like the steel type cared not to be bothered, was apparently no fun right at the moment for the floating cloud-like Pokemon.

Tristen looked at the Pokemon, sweatdropping at the moment, wondering if he should spring it on them right at the moment. "......uh..."

The nudge moved Tristen a couple of steps forward. He looked back at Tails, listening to what he said. He was right...he was told that as well. He took a deep breath then spoke up. "Uh, guys? Blitzle? Natu? Castform? Mawile?"

Two of the pokemon, Castform and Mawile, diverted their attention to Tristen right from the get go. Blitzle and Natu had to wake up before they could comprehend what the Electrike kid was saying. "Uh...yea...um..." He looked back at Tails for a second then held out the Pokeball. "Blizz got us another friend tonight." He said. "He's going to be with us and I'd like you for you all to meet him, okay?"

Castform was instantly excited, quickly darting close to get a look at what Tristen had. Blitzle stood up and made its way around the bed, curious as to what Tristen had meant. Natu stayed on the Blitzle's head, ever gazing. It already saw what was to come, but spoke nothing for the moment. Mawile seemed a bit disinterested, but still was watching for the time being. "Ok, here..."

Tristen opened up the Pokeball once more upon the bed, and out came Eevee. Eevee looked on to the four Pokemon before him. Blitzle already gave a welcoming squeal, being young and naive as it is for now. "This is Eevee."

"Vuiii!" The Pokemon spoke to the lot. It immediately brought its own attention to Castform. It stood up on hind legs, trying to reach the Pokemon, only to go back on all fours. Castform flew around the Eevee, playfully. This Pokemon seemed pretty fun, unlike Mawile.

Speaking of whom. Mawile wasn't really saying much of anything. Tristen looked over towards the steel type. "Aren't you going to say anything?"

"Raaah..."

"Mawile, why don't you say hi."

"Rah." It was a rather flat 'hi'.

"Vuiii?"

This was showing signs of falling apart already...

As did Tristen's Eevee. Food sounded pretty good. Blitzle looked over towards Tristen. "You're hungry?" A squeal in reply. Even the talk of food got Mawile's attention towards Tails. "I think everyone here wants something to eat."
