Lance ran through the forest trying to be as silent as he could so the hunters wouldn't find him. He climbed up a tree and was watching a group of hunters pass by. This is when he smelt something, it was feint but seemed so familiar. The sent of this rare herb caused his body to go almost numb. He thrashed around for a bit then fell out of the tree landing on his side. About two tree branches broke on his way down leaving a few marks on his back. Lance covered his face with his hands trying to block out the sent. It was too much for him though. Lance suddenly stood up and started walking toward the cave.

"Tell me about life in your village, those u cared for, and what brought its demise" she said as she touched his hand looking deeply into his eyes with her yellow ones. He sighed and said "life in my village was wonderful. always so peaceful. nobody claimed to own much. most things were merely shared with those who needed them. and many of us learned to fight with swords. but it was all for fun. we had competitions and such. they were quite fun. i even won a few, but usually i was beat by friend Garth" to be sure nobody heard he said telepathically "he is one of the few i learned escape. thats what i refused to tell the man from yesterday. he whants us all dead. but so long as he doesnt know about the other survivors he well never succeed" she responded telepathically " are u looking for him? u must be hes the only other survivor and as close as family now that everyone else was wiped out, it must be hard on u shinyu" she squeezed his hand. "was there someone u loved there, a woman perhaps?" "yea its tough. and i would like to learn where he is. but ive got other priorities at the moment" He said smiling warmly at Namine "and no, there was no women i loved aside from those in my family i cared greatly for. especailly my mother" with this he felt like he was going to go into a rage, recalling the sight of his dead mother, lying on the ground. "they had raped her before killing her" His eyes became red, but he remembered how he had frightened tomoyo the other day and checked himself back under control Namine blushed with embarrasment as he answered her question about the women in his life maybe she shouldnt have asked. Namine felt his emotions and the thoughts about his mother and she watched him change for a bit the anger becoming great. "im so sorry that happened to her, i would have loved to visit ur village and meet those people" Shinyu saw her blush "well i have had other women in my life so it wasnt an odd question. nut your... different then any other relationshipa i have had" He thought about his village before being burned again "i would have loved to take you there"

She remembered Zian her true familiar and the betrayal of demonus as he took its place making her believe in a lie. She had no one left most of her people were wiped out and she ran away from what remained of her village when they tried to force her to marry another elven prince. She thought she would never care for anyone again and then she met shinyu.

*Feeling adventurous Amber thought she would explore the school grounds. She really wanted to explore the forrest, but after her close call she decided the school was a good start.*
There is something in that forrest, I could feel it inside my head. That was no normal forrest. Oh well, I guess I'll just wonder the halls...maybe I'll run into someone useful around her.
