As Tails was on his way to the kitchen to help Tristen find some food for his Pokemon, he heard the commotion in the main room and stopped to poke his head in. He found Sub with two men about to straighten him out, and the boy's mouth quirked.
Was it Friday already?

Apparently I drew a little too much attention with that. Even Tails is watching this. I stopped my Ice Beam charge. "No, you didn't miss much..." I said to Eve, backing off.

As Blizz backed down, Sub's grin grew wider, he was going to jump all over this situation. "So the noble Blizz can take a shot at a defenseless human in privacy, but while others, mainly Tails, are around, he backs away and reclaims his moral high ground, as it were." He laughed promptly afterwards, head thrown back. "Been wondering where you were, spicy." Sub said as he faced Sol, then glanced at Eve. "Same could be said to you."

SubonicXP As Blizz backed down, Sub's grin grew wider, he was going to jump all over this situation. "So the noble Blizz can take a shot at a defenseless human in privacy, but while others, mainly Tails, are around, he backs away and reclaims his moral high ground, as it were." He laughed promptly afterwards, head thrown back. "Been wondering where you were, spicy." Sub said as he faced Sol, then glanced at Eve. "Same could be said to you." Oh the timing...Blast it. Just one Ancientpower attack. A Extrasensory at least. OOoooooooo...So badly. Well apparently Sub accomplished the objective of annoying the ever loving HELL out of me. I just walked off, rubbing my eyes in a bit of frustration.

Well apparently Sub accomplished the objective of annoying the ever loving HELL out of me. I just walked off, rubbing my eyes in a bit of frustration. Sub would quickly run up to Blizz before the bird could venture off too far, putting a hand on the hybrid's shoulder. "Now hold up, Cold One! While I love to ruffle your feathers, I did wish to speak to you in a more serious manner, if you don't mind. I also promise to withhold all jokes and wise cracks...as hard as that is at times." He grunted.

"No, it's called being careful about what to subject a surrogate child to." Sol quipped. "I doubt Tails would want to see a human popsicle. And spicy? Hm, you seem to be lacking in ammo of late. But if there's more pressing matters, the shots can wait."

"I've been around," Eve said with a light shrug, "Though, lately I've been trying to get a handle on this little butterball. Night dumped her with me when she left for wherever it was she was going. She is proving to be a little more difficult than I would have imagined."

Love those little things, if you need any help with it I would be glad to take it off your hands...Night might not be so happy to know I swiped it but oh well." He shrugged as he spoke to Eve. "Any who, Blizz, as you know, the Vulpix species is capable of harnessing not only the telepathic or otherworldly aspects of Celestial Chi, but also the dark side of it. And as you know, this team has no better master of the dark arts than I. So, I figured, with your permission of course, I could train Tails to utilize this proverbial darkness within him. Perhaps even help him develop a tolerance to mental assaults, you know?"

"Sol would've sufficed, but I'll settle with the other names." Hearing the conversation taking place, he opted to back off. Though it did give him an idea, recalling how Cera wanted to get back to full speed with her chi and expand on it.

Still remember a few of the things she did to you," Eve said, attempting to hide the grin that threatened to spread across her face at the memory of a pink-haired Sub, "However, a few tips on handling dark types would be greatly helpful."

Tails' ears twitched and he felt an unpleasantness in his stomach that he hadn't felt since encountering those twits at the Under stadium. Though Blizz had his utter respect, he liked Sub pretty well. After all, Sub saved his bacon often enough on the field. Not to mention, he somehow managed the rigging of the best, hottest baths he'd lost entire days to.
Choosing between the wishes of the two did not seem at all like a fun time.

"Probably, during our last outing he witnessed my Spiritomb use Hex on a thug, twice, once on its own, and once after Tails had singed him with a Will-o-Wisp, perhaps it ignited some curiosity in the boy, seeing what he could be capable of. As you know, he holds promise, much to be desired, I can feel it." Sub was being completely serious at this point. "Don't worry, Bouffalant wings, I still have plenty more names to use." He said to Sol. "As for tips on Dark types...you have to show them who is boss, assert your dominance over them. Dark type Pokemon do not really respond to things like kindness and baby coddling, you have to show them you are the alpha, once you do they become big babies, trust me on this one." He said to Eve. "That and lots of Colbur Berries help, bribery you know."
