Sub said before stepping away so Blizz can move in.

For once, these were words from Sub that made sense at a really deep level. It wasn't a sentiment that could have come from someone that hadn't been in the same sort of place. Once Blizz stopped, Tails looked up at Blizz but couldn't quite meet his eye. "I'm okay," he said. "Really, Blizz. I still don't remember much, but I remember enough. I don't know how to tell you how it feels, but it's like I -need- to be the one that lives for them. At least, the ones I remember. And I just know there are more that I don't."

"Why didn't you come to me about this sooner?" I asked him. "I told you that I was here for you. It was obvious that it was bothering you." I said, rubbing him behind the ears once again. I wasn't mad...just deeply concerned, still, as it may have been apparent in the tone of voice. "Look Tails, no one is trying to pressure you into anything, and don't let those memories and unfortunate experiences haunt you. Remember them, and honor them, sure, but worry about the here and now; how you want to advance yourself in life and don't let the memories hamper you. Remember, that whole incident is over...and if anyone else even dares tries to pull the stunt that Ein pulled, you and I for sure will stop them in a heartbeat. But for now, move on. Be you. Okay?" I said.

"The name's Darts." He makes a bow with a sweep of his jacket. "Professional gambler, man-of-fortune, and general multipurpose hand-for-hire at your service." If he had a mouth to grin with he would. "Eh... Giratina hybrid as well. Who do I have the pleasure of addressing?"

"What makes you rate yourself as average?" Darts asks, genuinely curious.

"Kinda new to the whole Leafeon thing. Evolved a short while ago when I decided to pass out on a moss-covered rock," Eve stated simply while scratching behind the happily eating Zorua's ears.

Darts shrugs his shoulders sympathetically. "I'm right there with you." he commiserates with a sigh. "I got cursed and turned into this against my will."

"You weren't a person first?" Darts asks in return, his eyes widening slightly beneath his gilded brow. Fascinating. "No, I wasn't always a hybrid. I was a man from Sootopolis City. Exploring some caves, I ran afoul of Giratina.... and he saw fit to punish me."
