Ms Edyn "It does if you're serious enough about it and constant with it," Eve nodded, "It's all about centering yourself and controlling your emotions. It takes time for it to start working." "I used to be good at that kind of thing." Darts remarks, rubbing the back of his neck thoughtfully. "Could you.... teach me how to meditate?" He manages to get out, a bit sheepishly.

"It's not really something you teach," Eve admitted, "But I'll do what I can to at least get you started. You just have to find what calms you and go from there."

Eve laughed lightly and shook her head, "Not exactly what I meant. You'd have to search within yourself. Physical, worldly possessions aren't exactly the best things to use. Oftentimes, it's a memory or a place that works best. Occasionally, you can use a person, but you'd have to have a very strong connection with them."

"Hmmm... Give me.... a little while to think about it, and we'll continue this later." He walks off then, his eyes fogged over as he thinks back to his past.

Odd hadn't had a chance to respond before the various hybrids all made their appearances. "Wow...." He commented after all was said and done and the others had all gone off on their own ways. Left alone to continue training, he resumed what he had been doing.

Trigram Attack "Yeah," said Tails, and that was all. This tone was familiar because Tails had just tried to use it on Blizz. It was an invitation to leave the topic alone and for Sub's sake he took it. They'd shared as much of their stories as they felt they needed to. Tails, however, didn't feel like he was done. "I need to remember more," he said. "For them. And I need to know enough for all of them." He leaned forward so that his chin rested on the heels of his hands and the cookie sat just before his nose. "I just don't know where to start though. I thought Hex might be good enough because it's different from everything else I know, but..." Again, he found he didn't know how to put these thoughts into words. "You're still confused, at a crossroads in your life and unsure which way to turn, right? You want to listen and obey to Blizz's words at every corner, and yet, you wish to embrace other aspects of life, am I wrong?" He asked the young hybrid. "I can help you learn Hex, if that is what you wish, among other moves, but only if you want to. And trust me, it will be much different training than you have experienced with your father." He said, being honest with the boy.

"Maybe," said Tails. Even with the offer of this training on the table, it still felt like it might be hollow progress. It would just be another way of using chi -- nice for a really tricky situation, but there was more to being a Pokemon to battling. With a frustrated growl, he took a large bite of his cookie. Sub was right, though. He loved Blizz, but Blizz never even pretended at living like an Articuno. For once, there was no real asking him for advice.
Not to mention he seemed paranoid over his lab memories returning. There was no point in worrying him.

I can tell that you have trouble turning your feelings into words, but might there be anything else you wish to say? Something you can't express to Blizz out of fear that it may cause him worry? If so, now would be the time to say it." Sub said as he finished off his cookie. "That or I might have to go get some more Lava Cookies in order to bribe you into talking." He said with a smirk.

Tails smiled despite himself. That wasn't fair of Sub to slip past his defenses like that. He forced the cookie down, then sighed. "I need to live for those Pokemon," he said. "I need to remember more, and do more. But I don't even know how to start, or where to look. And I don't know anyone here that -can- feel the same way, even."

"You're right, there is no one here who can feel the same way, not even Amaranth, despite being an experiment of Ein's as well. That said, you still have friends here who are more than willing to help you, don't forget that." He attempted to reassure Tails. "Maybe, as you grow, and learn more about your gifts, more will come back to you. You're still young right now, so what you should be worrying about right now is growing into a powerful and proud man, one of which can stand up for Pokemon and people alike who are at the mercy of evil individuals like Ein. Maybe if you could save the life of just one Pokemon, then perhaps it would all have been worth it."

Tails' ears perked. He knew of Amaranth, but her history had escaped him. But this was news he never expected to hear. "Did...you just say Ammy's another of Ein's experiments?" he said. Everything else was lost on him. Amaranth was surely old enough to remember the lab more clearly than he could. "I need to talk to her. I didn't even know, uh...does she ever talk about those days with anyone?"

Amaranth is a clone of Sol, just a female version. She was born and her physical age has hastened to match Sol's, but her mind was not, in essence during her time with Ein, she has little more than an infant, and to be honest, she is still a bit of a child. I do not know how much she remembers during her time with Ein, or how much she even understands. So don't get too excited." He tried to warn Tails.

And just as quickly, Tails' ears drooped. He should have known better than to find hope in that damned lab. "Sorry." In that case, it was perhaps up to him to learn for Amaranth's sake too. He might even have been an older experiment. At the very least, it may not only have been Pokemon he needed to live for.
"Do you have any ideas, then?" he finally said. "There's gotta be more I can do than learn how do Hex or use a Confuse ray."

Sub said, acting like he had thought of something, but then decided Tails wasn't up to the challenge. "Too risky, Blizz would flip his lid if he found out I talked you into such a thing."
