Crenn This is your one and only warning. Stay off the footpaths! >:3 I got my learner's permit. question I'm feeling angry. I had to work the audit shift last night. No big deal, right? I mean, 11p-7a isn't really all that bad once you get used to it. I'm able to keep myself up for that long if I have to. Except by 7am, I'm dead tired and all I wanna do is go home and go to bed. Sleepy time.... burning_eyes So I go home, crawl in to bed and fall into a wonderful dream land..... ....and wake up 15 minutes later (no exaggeration) to BANG BANG BANG DING DONG. I answer the door and there's 2 handy-men out there. "We're doing your windows now, so I'll give you a few minutes to get dressed." And I'm like "It's 7-freaking-30-in-the-morning-what-the-hell-are-you-doing-windows-NOW-for?!" Of course, they were SUPPOSED to do them on the 19th of December like the nice little note they taped to my door said. Did they come on the 19th? NO! They chose to come THEN, when all I wanted to do was SLEEP! Good thing I work at a hotel though. I packed up my cat, stormed out and slept for a couple hours in an unwanted smoking suite. Except it was wanted, because I remember some guy opening up the bedroom door and apologizing profusely before leaving. I fell strait back to sleep though, was too tired to register anything else. I woke up at 12:36, brought the (angry) cat back home, and wouldn't you know it, they STILL weren't done? They still aren't. They have to paint the new sills and put our blinds back up. But I'm at work for the 11p-7a shift again, so if they do it so early in the morning again, I'm raising holy hell.... stare

Sounds like fun Manda..
My sister just got followed through the supermarket by this guy who works there and was trying to jack off behind her and would run and hide whenever she turned around.

You ever sometimes get the feeling your friends don't support you in certian things? Today I had shown a friend a pic that I had done and that I had gotten an headache while working on probably because I was tired and it was late at the time. She gave me this reply about how she's not the one drawing in another style...
The one time I decide to draw something in my style and using a coloring style I hadn't done in awhile and I get crap because of the DP art which I do in the show's style and have done a few non-DP pics in that style.
Apparently, it's crime to draw in more than one style....A little respect and some support for the hard work I put into my art whether it's original or fan-art would be nice from some of my friends..I'm not expecting it..but the comments she made rubbed me the wrong way.

Rape is rape...I don't care, if that happened to me I'd grab him by the balls and take him to hell.

Well if he's mentally challenged and doesn't understand right from wrong, they can't really prosecute him. He should be in an institution if he's suffering that kind of behavior

Seconded on Leyla. Generally, when someone is found unfit to stand trial for a serious crime, he's institutionalized in a forensic ward where he can be treated (and, unfortunately, abused).
That this guy has not been institutionalized suggests, to me, that you don't have the full story.

Well if he's mentally challenged and doesn't understand right from wrong, they can't really prosecute him. He should be in an institution if he's suffering that kind of behavior When they place people into the workforce who are like that, they have to be able to take instruction and follow it. At this store, there are several mentally challenged like himself, but they seem to be a bit more stable. At most places (because I know some are lax about this) there are strict rules of harassement and sexual harassement. It is the manager and corporations responsibility to take action against this. By allowing him to continue to work there, disability or not, is a huge liability. If my sister does not report it, what will happen next? Will he continue to be able to act as he does now? I understand this Shaviv. I also know a lot more than you think about this, though not his personal story. I understand that they are the responsibility of a case worker that follows their actions. I also understand that in any instance of harassement or sexual harassement, measures should be taken. Either by suspension by the company or a full written police report. No matter what kind of person is, he should be responsible for his actions, or his family or his caseworker. A disability should not stand in the way of accountability. Whether it was intentional or not or if he was in the right mind, it doesn't matter, he still did it. Anyway, it doesn't matter. We reported it to the assistant manager, the manager, the district manager and also the corporation. What they do or don't do is in their hands.

What do we mean by responsibility, anyway?
I mean, if you get sent to a forensic ward in a psychiatric hospital, or you go to prison, what's the difference?
Except that in prison, if you get roughed up it'll probably be by the other prisoners, not by the staff.

I feel pretty sick and miserable right now. Feverish, achey, really sore throat. I can't believe I worked today, that was ridiculous.
