Leslie looked around nervous before panicking and attempting to run away with the Pokeballs clutched close to her in order to keep them hidden. Tripping on the rug as she attempted to run, one of the Pokeballs would escape her grip before opening, revealing Kairi's Houndour to her prematurely. "Umm..............Surprise!!" Leslie shouted from the ground, attempting to make it look like it had been on purpose.

Kairi's mouth opened slightly, and she seemed like she was going to say something, but instead, the appearance of the Houndour made the girl squeal and drop to the floor to hug the little pup. The young Houndour sniffed the girl a couple times before licking her face. "You guys got me a Houndour?! Seriously?" Kairi practically shrieked. For once, it was extremely obvious that the redheaded girl was happy. Tsura smiled and decided that since the whole Houndour puppy thing had been revealed, she'd tell Kairi the full details. "We got Reno a Houndour as well. And that pup? She comes from your dad. As does the puppy we got for Reno," Tsura said, smiling down at her friend. Kairi looked up at her friend, the Houndour puppy still licking her face. "You... You went and got puppies from my dad? I... I don't know what to say..." Kairi stopped, looking down at her Houndour, who was now laying down and exposing her belly. The redheaded girl smiled again, rubbing the pup's belly a little bit.
Tsura smiled again, and knelt down beside her friend. "We thought you might appreciate the gift more if the pups came from him. I know how you feel about your dad, and I also know that you love Houndours because of him. It was your sister's idea to get one for Reno as well," the brunette said, looking over to Leslie. "Actually, speaking of Reno... When do you think he and Dante will be getting back from Hearthome?" Tsura asked, tilting her head slightly as she spoke.

Leslie would carefully pick herself off of the ground before shaking her head in an effort to dispel what she thought was pure insanity. Kairi squealing in joy over something and showing extreme happiness without massive amounts of attempting to cause it? "I meant to do that." Leslie shouted, this time her eyes moving and darting about without her knowledge.
A loud crash would announce a new arrival as the red haired warrior arrived in the room, somehow managing to do so by landing on his head. Rolling off of his semi useful head to set himself aright while sitting to face Kairi, her new Pokemon and the fact that Kairi squealing. Finally feeling prepared to speak an answer, he asked. " 'Ow 'ard did I 'it my 'ead? Kairi 'as a 'Oundour and is squealing like a lil schoolgirl. I must be 'allucinating." Looking to Kairi, Leslie would creep over and pass her the other Pokeball, whispering, "Your turn," before darting back to where she was before.

Lykas was in the training room again, still training his new body. Chinami was sparring with him now, in order to improve the speed at which he could move his newly acquired appendages. "This. Is. Still. Awkward." He grunted as he blocked her attacks. She wasn't even using any actual attacks, simple punches, kicks and thrusts. Granted, she was powering her punches with the addition of holding her Scalchops when she threw them.
"Dewott dew wott wott dewo dewott wott dew wott." Chinami replied as she stopped for a moment.
"I'm trying! It's not that easy...." Lykas responded, stopping for a moment to catch his breath. "Can't we just start practicing chi control again?"
"Dewoooooo." Chinami sighed in response. She sat on the floor where she had been standing and assumed a lotus position. "Dew wott dew dew wott." As Lykas watched, a thin band of watery energy appeared around her, swirling and flowing as if it had the life of the ocean tides within it. "Wott."
"Ok.....I'll give it a try...." The boy sat down in front of his Pokemon and followed her lead. Assuming the correct position, with a bit of instruction from Chinami on how to do so, he began to let his chi move within him. He felt the ebb and flow of energy from within and soon, he almost felt it escaping him. Chinami opened closed eyes to see a small band of chi flowing around her master like a current, smiling slightly when she felt the energy growing a bit stronger. He was beginning to learn at last, it would seem.

SubonicXP RCCaughtem [ Ryan pets Asherah on the head and gives her praise for hanging in there and fighting so well. His words would have a profound effect on her as she would begin to glow and change. After a few moments, Asherah would emerge now as a Dewgong. Ryan hugs his pokemon and then recalls her. Ryan rises to his feet and listens to his next challenge. " We shall see, let's go Tank! Mud Shot!" he calls out. Tank, Ryan's Swampert, emerges and then slings some mud at the Jolteon. If he was going to catch this pokemon, he would need to slow it down first. Without much effort, the Jolteon would disappear in a flash, appearing just inches away from where the Mud Shot splashed down, the Detect allowing it to dodge easily, it would take much more than forward attacking to catch it. Ryan just smiles. "Tank, fan it out!" he commands. Tank flips his mighty fan-like tail into the mud and then flicks it forward sending the mud off in a wide spread spray at the Jolteon.

Ryan would have to get a little more creative than that as the Jolteon shot up into the air, flying up off the ground, the monk showed no emotion in response to this feat. "Magnet Rise." He mumbled. Let's assess the situation, Ryan has a flying speed demon to take care of and there is mud on the ground, I guess that stops it from landing, though it doesn't seem to be tiring from flight, yet.

Tsuki the Lunar Wind "He probably wouldn't. He's the type who takes the phrase when I see two sins, I pick the one I haven't tried to heart. We came across one before and I had him and Anubis spar against one." Tsuki said, holding a slightly charred Pokeball. If anyone stood a chance against a wild Tyranitar, it was his Magmortar. "So a cave would be the best bet." Skarsy flew above head, not seeing the fire type in the area. Tsuki returned her once she landed and shook her head. (Totally did not see this post, sorry, Tsuki.) "Indeed, which we are in luck." He said, pointing to a nearby cave, him and Monstressor journey into its damp depths. It wouldn't take long before Sub noticed something out of the ordinary. "Hey, look around us, anything look odd to you?" He asked, not waiting for an answer to point out what he meant. "The cave walls don't look natural, do they? That's because they aren't, this tunnel was made by Larvitar eating away at the mountain, we are dangerously close." He said to Tsuki, traveling forward a little bit more before he saw something in front of them, egg shells. "Uh...that's really not-" His sentence was cut off by a roar in the distance, echoing through out the cave. "That's a Tyranitar if I ever heard one...ladies first?" He asked Tsuki.

"Well, that was unexpected."
Any silence that might or might not have been in the main lobby was broken when a freakishly tall, powerfully built psychopath and his not-so-tall-but-far-more-powerful companion, who shrugged at her master's remark, casually walked through it.
"Eh, whatever. I'm serious about more training, though. It's clearly been too long."
"I'm not arguing that," the Combusken replied.
The two continued on in silence as they made their way to the training room, where a surprise lay in store for Chaos and Warbringer.

Indeed, a surprise did lay in wait. The two would walk in to find an unfamiliar hybrid inside, though the lilac eyes and the blue jewel on his forehead might tell them enough. If not, the Dewott fighting him should.
"Give me a break, Chinami! We've been at this for two hours! Aren't you tired yet?" He asked of his Pokemon, who only attacked once again, this time summoning up a bit of chi as she formed a smaller-than-usual Razor Shell fan and slashed at him.
Four tentacles would erupt from the boy's ponytail to block the attack, one grabbing each of the Dewott's limbs afterwards. "Ha! Finally caught you!" He exclaimed as his Dewott wriggled in his grasp.

Chaos and Warbringer were there when Chinami was caught, mouths agape.
"What the ~/~ did I just witness?" Chaos asked, his voice booming in his shock.
As Chaos doesn't think to check the abomination's eyes or headjewel, and as he isn't familiar with Chinami, he has no idea who he's talking to.

"Hm?" The hybrid looked over as he released Chinami from his grasp. "Chaos! How the ~/~ have you been?" He asked as he walked over, keeping an ear out for his Pokemon just in case she decided to start the sparring session up once more.
It took a moment but he realized after a few seconds that Chaos didn't recognize him. "It's me, Lykas!" He was smiling from ear to ear. His blue skin with the swirling white tribals might have made that difficult to tell.

Once Chaos recognized Lykas's voice, which was about the time Lykas re-introduced himself, Chaos calmed down a bit. That didn't diminish the surprise in his voice any, however. "~/~, boy, what the ~/~ happened to you? You look like you fused with a tentacle ~/~ or some ~/~."
What's with all the water chi?" Warbringer asked, just as surprised by Lykas's new body as her master was.

Lykas sighed as he gave it some thought. Finally, he looked up and regaled Chaos with the story of how he came to be a tentacle monster hybrid. After he was done with the story, he looked over to Warbringer. "My chi was already naturally high due to my heritage at birth but now I'm a Jellicent hybrid, obviously. So I assume it's because my body is now made of almost pure water held together by chi, willpower and my soul." He explained to the Combusken with a small laugh.

Chaos was speechless, unsure how to respond. Fortunately, he didn't have to.
"How long ago was that?"
Keiko entered the training room after overhearing and subsequently eavesdropping on the story. She was clearly just as surprised as Chaos, but was stricken more with worry than with shock.

Lykas rubbed his chin as he gave Keiko's question some thought. "About two weeks ago, roughly...." He decided as he recalled the events once more.
"Really now?" Came s voice as a silver haired man of roughly 24 walked in, brushing pink hued bangs out of his face as he looked at Lykas. "So I barely missed it, huh? Figures I'd miss out on the biggest change you'd go through since puberty...." His mismatched eyes ran over the room, soon finding the massively tall blonde man standing almost right beside him. "Oh, hello!" He greeted, amber-violet eyes locking onto the massive beast of a man.
"Hi Kaya!" Lykas greeted his friend with a small smirk, snapping one of his hair tentacles like a whip and smacking the silverette in the rump. "Be nice to Chaos.....Or....at least don't piss him off."
Kaya yelped and rubbed his butt lightly as he threw a glare at Lykas.
