Where are you, again, Fog? Australia? As an aside: Do What Tastes Right. I think this is hilarious. Maybe that's bad, but I still do.

Shaviv Where are you, again, Fog? Australia? As an aside: Do What Tastes Right. I think this is hilarious. Maybe that's bad, but I still do. No, I'm in Oklahoma. Northeastern State University is my current living residence. I just don't get it. Five days ago it was snowing and now it's in the 80's? It's insanity.

My FA Journal. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/296475/Comic that caused me to write about that: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1055568/I don't care if you're black and you find it funny; making jokes at the expense of other people is ******** RUDE and to make fun of minorities is even worse. It pisses me off that people can just be all "LOL, so ******** funny!" about s**t like this which is basically putting down black people. I don't ******** understand it. When did it become acceptable to be offensive to people?

Random thing to piss me off #92: People who add -san, -chan, -"tan", -sama, -kun, or any other Japanese title that I may have missed to their names! For one: You don't call yourself "Mr/s. Johnson" so you wouldn't call yourself any of those. Two: You don't speak Japanese! If you did you'd have enough dignity to not do something so incredibly retarded!
And that's my mini-rant for the day.

And that's my mini-rant for the day. -kun is used between lovers, and I think -chan is for children, and I think -sama is between siblings. So you're off base by saying all of those are for Mr/s suffixes. Let people do what they want. Half of the people who do it, or the majority, do in fact speak Japanese or ARE Japanese. For the japanese, it's their custom

From the "Honorifics Explained" in the front of one of my graphic novels:
"-chan: This is used to express endearment, mostly toward girls. It is also used for little boys, pets, and even between lovers. It gives a sense of childish cuteness."
"-kun: This suffix is used at the end of boys' names to express familiarity or endearment. It is also sometimes used by men among friends, or when addressing someone younger or of a lower station."
"-san: This is the most common honorific, and is equivalent to "Mr.", "Miss", "Ms.", or "Mrs." It is the all-purpose honorific and can be used in any situation where politeness is required."
"-sama: This is one level higher than "-san" and is used to confer great respect."
I omitted about 1/2 of the examples they gave because you didn't really mention them as being used here on Gaia.

God that was scary. The storms that have been going on came through here. I was talking to Firefury when my sister comes down and goes "We're under a tornado warning!". Then seconds after telling Fury I had to get off the sirens went off. It's dark and it's late at night. Can't see anything but lightning. We don't have a basement. The safest part of the house I assume is our closet under the stairs and the half-bathroom since they're in the middle of the house like the weather men have said to go to if you don't have a basement.
Parts of Lexington are out of power. There have been reports all over the state where the storms have hit about damage. They said a barn has been blown over..mobile homes as well.. now they're saying a post office wall was knocked down..something about a semi truck at a Wal-mart..Apparnetly on Nicholasville Road there's a telephone pole on fire. There's a roof in the middle of a street somewhere blocking traffic. They're saying the winds are hurricane force. 77 mph winds is what they have reported. The weather men are freaking out..They were going on about how the heavy lights and the steel beams in the studio were shaking from the wind..
Man..this has been one crazy and wild night. I'm not sure if I can sleep. I might stay in the living room tonight with the tv on.

It's official; I'm addicted to coffee. I can't live without espresso. Seriously. I'm like a zombie in class without it.
Also, I realized that if given the choice between freezing to death or burning to death, I'd go with being frozen. Heat has a funny effect on me. I much prefer the cold to warmth.
