Keiko didn't have much of a chance to answer, since she knew she had no chance to yell over the bursting laughter of Chaos, which even Warbringer found uncalled for.

"You two know each other?" Keiko asked once Chaos settled down, hoping to be introduced.

Lykas snickered at Keiko's question. "Ya, this is my best friend from Celadon, Kaya Rayvn." Lykas introduced. "I grew up under his tutelage for a while before I left the gym there." He said as he stepped over and gave the older male a hug. It should be obvious from Kaya's light blush that there might have been more at one point and still might be.

"Hehe...I wouldn't say tutelage, exactly....I just taught you how to get outside the gym without Erika finding out." Kaya defended with a small grin.

"Anyway, Kaya, this is Chaos and Keiko." Lykas said as he stepped back, pointing to the two as he introduced them.

"Nice to meet you." Kaya responded as he held out a hand for the duo.

"Sup?" Chaos said, shaking the silverette's hand.

"Nice to meet you," Keiko adds.

Kaya shook both people's hands in greeting. "Nice to meet you both." He said with a smile as he stepped back a bit. "So, should we leave you to your training?" He finally asked of Lykas, as he realized they'd interrupted him.

"Nah, but you can help if you want. I still need practice controlling my chi...." Lykas replied with a smirk. Chaos would likely take the challenge but Kaya and Keiko were possibles.

You would think so, but Chaos shook his head. "I've got my own training to do. Besides, I don't know jack ~/~ about chi, and I'd probably work you too hard anyway."

"If there's any way I can help, I'd be happy to," Keiko offered.

"I was referring more to being a moving target." Lykas laughed at Chaos' response. "You sure you're up for it, Kei?" He asked of the smaller female. "I can't promise I won't overdo it by mistake."

"I'd be glad to help!" Kaya offered, jumping at the chance to bond with his friend again.

Keiko nodded as Chaos left the training room. It was too crowded for his methods, and he was used to training outside anyway. "I'm sure," she said.

Lykas nodded to Keiko and Kaya. "Ok. If you guys want to bring out a Pokemon, I'm gonna have Chinami with me to help teach me while I try and attack you guys' Pokemon." He told them as he released his own moving target, Latifah the male Gothorita.

"Gothoooor." The Psychic type yawned as he stretched out, looking around. "Goth goth rita?" He asked of Lykas, who shrugged.

"I figured it's time you and I bonded properly. I haven't used you to battle since I caught you and we haven't spent any real time together, either." He explained what was going on and asked the Psychic-type to help.

"Goth rita goth gothooo." Latifah replied with a shrug. Couldn't hurt, right?

Kaya nodded and whistled loudly, the sound of small footsteps echoing down the staircase as Primrose, his Leavanny, came hurtling into the training room, saluting her friend and trainer as any soldier would. "We're helping my friend train. Mind being a moving target?" He asked.

"Vanny!" Primrose replied as she stepped forward.

"Oh, my brother has one of those!" Keiko said happily, referring to Primrose. It wasn't often she met a Pokemon she recognized, aside from her own. "Alright, come out, Asper!"

The Ledian looked around as Keiko explained the task at hand. He nodded to his mistress, then began hovering in the air with his bug wings, an act that would grant him more mobility than simply moving on the ground. At least he didn't have to carry his mistress around this time.

With the three Pokemon all in agreement, Lykas nodded. "Ok, then. I'm gonna try and use my Water Spout attack to hit one of you." He told them all again as he stood back and looked over at Chinami.

The Dewott nodded and walked over to him, beginning to give him advice on focusing his chi. After a few moments, Lykas seemed to catch on. "Ok...I get it...I think...."

He looked to Kaya's Leavanny, deciding she'd be the most resistant to it if this worked, so he'd start with her. He began to focus, trying to draw the energy within himself to the surface. It took a few moments before anything happened but eventually, a small orb of swirling water would appear in front of his forehead jewel. A small jet of water would shoot from it towards the Bug-type but if she moved at all, it would easily miss. If she stood her ground, she'd barely feel anything.

As it happened, the nurturing Pokemon crossed her arms and blocked the small surge without batting an eye. "Vanny?" She asked as she resumed her standing position. It looked like he might need a lot more practice before this would work too effectively.

"Well I detect no objection to my plan, Sol, so I assume you'll go along with it just fine." Sub said with a wide grin. "So, better start putting your costume together. I left all the Black Brigade stuff in the closet over there, so you can go through it and find what you need." He said, pointing to the closet in the room, it was then that he spotted Tsuki and cocked an eyebrow in surprise. "Look what the Persian drug in." He said to the elusive trainer.
Sol had taken a considerable amount of time in trying to figure out what to use for the costume. Stuff that could hide his features, give off a mysterious aura, articles of that sort. Also stuff like it in slightly smaller sizes, just to be prepared for that contingency. Luckily, the only thing he didn't need was this mask designed to go over his eyes; not only was it a tad cliché, but his own eyes did the job just as well.

When he finally came out and returned to Sub, he had his usual clothing wrapped around one of his arms, sporting an all-black getup that nearly covered his face in the process. For some profound reason, he even had a top hat. But this all did little for his beak, which still stuck out. "Afraid there wasn't any black paint in there, and I doubt the wristbands would work in allowing me to speak." He said afterward.

"You got it!" Keiko cheered, oblivious to what Primrose was doing and the fact that something else was supposed to happen.

Lykas groaned as Primrose deflected the attack with ease. "No....I still can't get it right...." He informed Keiko with a small frown. "I don't get it....I've always had such an easy time with Water-type Pokemon so why am I having so much trouble with learning to control chi? Shouldn't it come naturally after all the years I've spent in their company?" He asked, more to himself than anything. He might need a bit of encouragement.

Kaya wasn't sure just what was going to happen but when Lykas fell short and seemed bummed out over it, he couldn't help but pitch in his two cents. "Come on, Lykas! I know you! You're too stubborn to not figure this out." He told his friend with a goofy grin.

Keiko pouted and looked away. She wanted to help, but had no idea what was wrong to begin with. She began wondering what I would say in this situation.

"Telling somebody to do something for years at time is different than doing it yourself."

Keiko decided that would work, but wondered why she heard it in her head with Chaos's voice. She had her answer when she sensed someone behind her and turned around, only to find the man in question there.

"It's like birdman used to say. Being a hybrid is serious business. It ain't easy to get used to."

"You're right. It's not supposed to be easy, learning something new...." Lykas admitted to Chaos' comments with a small shrug. "I just never realized how much trouble it really is to adjust to a whole new body." He admitted as he turned to another target, this time focusing on Latifah. He was planning to wait it out and let Aster be the third target for his attempts. If, by some miraculous chance, he managed to get a decent hold on the control, Aster would be capable of dampening the attack with his dual screens. Or if he just got lucky.

As it so happened, as one might expect from a new hybrid, his second attempt appeared to have even less force than the first. Latifah didn't even have to block as the attack never reached her.

"Don't undersell yourself, Lykas." Kaya scolded. "You've got the will to do it. You just need patience." He told the younger boy as Primrose placed a blade against her mouth and began to use her Grasswhistle to play a soothing song. This one had no sleep-inducing effect, however, simply melody.
