Since Coming back from Pyrite Town with the strange Bagon in captivity, Odd and Lykas had pretty much stayed out of everyone's way. Kaya was working with Nigel the Azurill in an attempt to convince the Pokemon that being his friend would be more beneficial to them both. It wasn't looking good at the moment.
"I really need to look into catching at least one more Pokemon...." Kaya told himself when Nigel Slammed him in the face for the fourth time in the last 30 minutes. "Maybe a nice Hoppip or a Cottonee would be more my speed?" He suggested to himself as he climbed up off the floor and recalled Nigel to his Pokeball. He didn't notice the Azurill's glare at his statement. Was the little Polka Dot Pokemon showing signs of jealousy? Perhaps inferiority? Kaya would spend more time discovering a method of earning the Pokemon's aide later. For now, he was growing hungry. TO THE KITCHEN!

Darksol88 SubonicXP "Should be." Sub said as he pressed a button on the makeshift console, the chamber closing with the Bagon inside in response. "Alright, GRAY, it's all you now." The leader said aloud. There was no verbal response from GRAY, just the machine beginning to hum violently and lights flickering. "Fascinating, it seems as if-" Before GRAY could finish the machine would begin to smoke as circuits were fried and sparks flew as well. "Crap, I knew it wouldn't hold up for long, abort, GRAY!" Sub shouted. GRAY would begin to shut down the machine but not before the Bagon began to wake up and attempt to flail around, however Nevermore's Quash held it in place, for now. Though despite this the chamber began to crack from whatever pressure that Bagon was exerting. "Better recall that thing, Sol." "...Well crap." Sol simply said at everything that had happened, hastily recalling Bagon before more damage could be done. "I have to wonder what GRAY's findings were now, however small." "Whatever they were, I dun think we really have anything that can handle it for long... I'm kinda surprised that Ultra Ball hasn't broken.""I honestly think someone could put a Pokeball in a room of a hundred exploding Electrode, and there wouldn't be so much as a singe on its surface." RC had watched everything that went down while he was still recovering. The chi that was coming from that Bagon was terrifying. It was, to his dismay, worse than the meteorite chi. RC finally pulls himself up. "What evil is this and who is causing it? I have not sensed something that dark in a very long time." the dragon comments.

SubonicXP RCCaughtem Ryan just smiles. "Tank, fan it out!" he commands. Tank flips his mighty fan-like tail into the mud and then flicks it forward sending the mud off in a wide spread spray at the Jolteon. Ryan would have to get a little more creative than that as the Jolteon shot up into the air, flying up off the ground, the monk showed no emotion in response to this feat. "Magnet Rise." He mumbled. Let's assess the situation, Ryan has a flying speed demon to take care of and there is mud on the ground, I guess that stops it from landing, though it doesn't seem to be tiring from flight, yet. Ryan just takes a deep breath. this was annoying, but doable. to let his annoyance show would not help his case. "Tank, tackle!" Ryan commands. Tank goes after the Jolteon in an attempt to bring it down from it's floating.

"I've completed my assessment. The Bagon seems to be suffering from some sort of energy which blocks out its own natural chi. While it's own is still in there, it's condensed and heavily shadowed by the much more powerful chi. This shadow chi as you could call it, seems to put the Pokemon in an overclocked state, to put it in layman's terms. The body's natural restrictions are lifted and the Pokemon is able to use every ounce of its own strength and some. This is not unlike the Power Plus drugs which Cipher developed and distributed in Unova. As such while the Pokemon is vastly more powerful, it becomes a danger to its self. One thing that makes it different from a Pokemon suffering from Power Plus is that it seems to lack any form of emotion, turned into nothing more than a machine of destruction without its own thoughts. In theory such a beast could be tamed and used as a weapon, but as stated, it would eventually harm its self, perhaps irreversibly." GRAY explained to the others.
Back with Ryan. Tackle? Was Ryan taking this seriously? The Jolteon was easily able to dodge the Tackle, floating downward at the last minute, barely off the ground, to let the Swampert fly on over it.

"Hm. A Pokemon eclipsed by a chi we've yet to see before today, a shadow of its former self... for the sake of ease, and because I still think we'll be seeing more than the few earlier, let's just call them shadow Pokemon for lack of a better name." Sol spoke up, after listening to GRAY's findings. "And honestly, I'd be more concerned with finding a way to isolate the chi from the Pokemon rather than taming it as is."
This alone made Cera shudder, reminding her of how a whole bunch of her chi got "isolated" and removed on account of a meteorite. "I dun think we'd be finding that out anytime soon... I'm not really able to notice much more than GRAY here."
"In any case, given everything we can see upfront, I think it'll be of benefit that I'll be sticking around here for the time being. The more we can find out, the better off we'll be when it comes to these shadow Pokemon. Plus, with GRAY having difficulties in reaching us on the field, I'd advise you get everything in order."
"That's why you wanted to talk to me..."

Coming into the main building a snagem, a tired and exhausted Arthur would scan the area before slumping down on the couch. He'd just returned from his psycadelic trip with the unknown and now he was feeling a mixture of hunger, exhaustion, and thirst. Was it worth it though? The answer was...no. "This is why it's better not knowing," he thought to himself. Looking down at Lava and Squirrel, he asked them to get food for him since they weren't as tired. They came back from the fridge with two apples, one of which Lava accidentally melted.
Taking the one from Squirrel, he bit into it hungrily before asking for more food.

"For more reasons than you know, zombie." GRAY said to Sol. "I just attempted to deposit that Bagon to your box but for whatever reason I am unable to. Seems I'll have to make some adjustments to the SNAG Network in order to allow the transfer. Until then, you need to keep that Bagon on you, and as such, a close eye on it. Furthermore, if you go out with the others having it with you will cause much interference, as stated. Until I can figure out a work around...as unfortunate as it is to have you not exist in my presence." GRAY explained further. "I suppose that would be for the best anyways." Sub said with a shrug. "Either way we'll have to run some more tests and see if we can't figure out a way to rid the Bagon of that shadow energy, a way to purify it. For now we need to worry about where these things are coming from and how the Snatch Gang got them." With that, the leader took out his SNAG and began to type a message into it. Said message being sent to all SNAGs. Sub To: All Available MembersI request at least one available member to report to the lab for a special assignment of dire importance, thank you. "Is Amaranth busy at the moment, Sol?" He asked the hybrid.

Lykas and Kaya appeared in the lab a little while after Sub's message went out. Lykas figured another mission might help him take his mind off his training and Kaya was still dying to try and prove himself more useful than in the last mission he went on.
"What's so important?" Lykas asked as the duo appeared.

"Is Amaranth busy at the moment, Sol?" He asked the hybrid. "May be just as well, as I planned to box Trapinch for the time being." Sol commented. "But GRAY sees the point I brought up, especially if Bagon can't be left in storage. Also, while I won't guarantee uninterrupted survival, I'll be sure to avoid that lest GRAY develops a blue tint. As for Amaranth, she shouldn't be too busy. At last check, she was trying to get to know this Lickitung she got a little while ago. If anything, she likely just got that message and would be on her way." "So daddy's staying here, GRAY's kinda limited... now what?""You'll have to serve as a secondary to GRAY's usual support. Out of us, you're the best equipped for communicating with the others, and your synchronization should allow one to communicate with another. It does mean you'll need to keep out of danger when possible, as well as hone yourself more in your chi detection, something I've noticed you're slipping on." "Yeah, about that...""This is where I'll have to put my foot down, but I was only saying to work on it. Your chi's stable, so there shouldn't be any concerns of this chi affecting you like the meteorite's virulent chi did." Right after Sol finished saying that, though, Amaranth had walked into the lab. "You were wanting us?" She spoke up, looking to Sub.

SubonicXP To: All Available MembersI request at least one available member to report to the lab for a special assignment of dire importance, thank you. Arthur was finishing off the rest of the food in the fridge- food that was vegetarian mind you- when he heard the call go out. Gulping down a whole jug of water, he nodded to Lava to take the lead while Squirrel made sure he didn't end up falling. As they went, he quickly realized he'd forgotten where the lab was. He only got there by following some of the others. Coming in after Aramath, Arthur looked around as he chugged down a water bottle. "What's going on?" Arthur asked after he finished.

"Arthur, Amaranth, and Lykas. The three of you will take on a special task. I have a gut feeling that Cipher is active again. I know lately we've been focused on this Snatch Gang business and seeing activity from them, but nothing from Cipher, however I just get the vibe that they are behind all of this. I want the three of you to head into the Orre desert and find the defunct Cipher lab which Ein once ran. It is clearly labeled on the map in your SNAGs, however you'll probably have to teleport to Phenac City and walk the right of the way northwest. As for what I want you to do there, I wish for you to look for signs of any recent activity. The lab should be mostly in shambles and no longer operating. As such it is probably unsafe so use caution. Cera will join you and act as a link between your group and HQ should GRAY be unable to maintain contact. Any questions?" He asked the group assembled.
Back with Ryan, the Jolteon would be taken by surprise for once and get hit by the Hammer Arm, causing it to hit the ground, but more importantly, the mud. The Jolteon would tumble around in said mud, becoming covered in it, including its scarf which now seemed to have become slightly dis-knotted from the event. Thanks to the mud, Jolteon was unable to utilize its electricity to such a precise point in order to use Magnet Rise and was grounded now. "Double Team." The monk ordered. Since the Jolteon couldn't float and was slightly slowed down it had to rely on other tactics, the fox splitting into five other selves and beginning to run around in random directions to confuse Ryan. He was so close, he just needed to find the right one.

"None on my part." Lykas responded, as he give his team a bit of consideration. He didnt' want to take an unbalanced team with him for this, just in case. "Ein's gone for good after what we did to him so there's no worries about him, specifically, but the rest of those Cipher goons could be up to a lot worse if left unchecked....." Once he was certain he wasn't carrying a badly built team, he released Mykel from his ball and gave him the run down on what he would be needed for.

"Somehow, it wouldn't surprise me. They've been too quiet." Sol commented. "That said, before it's asked, I'll be keeping Xatu on standby should the need arise. Or if getting Claydol there proves to be inefficient." As he saw it, there was probably a manual way to get to Claydol easily, but the more options open, the better.
"Um, no. No questions." Cera tried her best not to gulp at this. It wasn't a time to argue, and so she moved closer to Amaranth.
"I don't have any..." Amaranth answered, though she couldn't hide the unease she felt at the idea of being in that area. Most of what she remembered was hazy at best, but it was hard not to forget that name. Or that things were a lot less painful now than they were then.

Tank takes a deep breath and watches the five fox forms dart around him. He soon spots something and fires off his Mud Shot at one of the Jolteon. Hopefully his guess was right. (doing a random number, 1-5. Number is the Jolteon Tank fired at.)
