Uhg, soooooooooo sick. I woke up with a bad headache this morning. It was one of those sleep headaches you get where part of you knows you need to get up to take Tylenol or something, and the other part of you is too a sleep to get up, so you spend all night tossing and turning in agony between being asleep and awake. I finally rolled up about 8:30 and went to take some Tylenol. I gobbled down a few fish crackers with it cause I always eat a bit to help get the pill down. I also drank a glass of water. Just my luck my sensititive stomach was still bothered by the pill. With in a half hour I was keeled over a garbage can. Not pleasant but at least I can always tell and got up out of bed again in time. Today has not been fun ;__;

I don't know if I should've updated my Adobe Flash....the rollover menus aren't coming up for me. Neither is the Cash Shop for some reason....
Edit: I tried shopping at Ian's store in Barton and while Rufus is there, and so is the heading and all that, there's just a blank spot where the items should be, as well as all the shop links being blank squares.
WTF is going on?!

Diana Vulpes Can I get Kriss anything to make her feel better? Some seal slippers would greatly improve my condition since I'm currently trying to save up for them. ^.~ XD So sweet to offer, but no need to get me anything. heart Thankfully I've slowly been feeling better over the day. I was finally able to eat something around 4pm and my headache has slowly been dissipating. Still feel kind of dizzy (especially if I stare at the TV/computer too long) but hopefully that will go away by tomorrow. I only hope I can sleep tonight. I spent most of the day in bed today and I fear I might pay for it a little later on when I try to curl up. ;__; Not positive, but I think the headache might have started do to getting a bit dehydrated. Been walking with my mom outside in the Florida heat lately versus my usual treadmill workout and I haven't been drinking enough. Especially since I don't carry water with me when I have been walking (I normally always drink when on the treadmill). It doesn't help that I don't drink a lot to begin with.

I find it utterly fascinating how Gaia can pay attention to the most menial of problems and ignore the ones that merit the most notice.
They release an announcement about the Valentine's day item contest voting crap but not for the fact that drop down menus and the cash shop are down completely?
I think we should think like Lewis Black, who suggested we electroshock everyone in the capital.

The drop-downs & Cash Shop work fine for me. . . neutral
But yea, the "finalists" for the contest are utter crap. I've seen so many submissions in the forum that are infinitely better (has anyone seen what Colorless111 has come up with? I love 'em!).

Guh, I'll be so happy as soon as my immune system gets used to being bombarded with the germs of 14 kids. I'm tired of being sick. xP Also, I happened upon a photo of a dog on the internet and it looked just like our dog. I was surprised to see that the dog in question was neither a boxer nor a coon hound, which is what our dog is supposedly a mix of. It was a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I did more research on the breed and I'm almost positive that's what our dog is. Except he doesn't have the ridge, which is the defining feature of the breed. So, perhaps he's still mixed with something else. That's the only thing missing though, I swear he looks just like this without the white marks: http://www.dkimages.com/discover/previews/948/15134.JPG

I'm back from the LAN, apart from the set back from me suddenly vomiting, it was fairly alright.
Early this morning, I suddenly had to rush else and vomit. We think it may have been food poisoning (although the majority of lanners though it was because I drank something) but for whatever reason, it happened and I luckily got outside the hall. The lanners/admin were helpful and cleaned up the mess, gave me some advice and one of the lanners got my phone at my request and called my sisters. Sadly noone can drive in my house but since I live so close, I just walked home, had a shower, put on new clothes etc. My sisters made me stay for a couple of hours before I could return to the LAN. I haven't thrown up since, but I mostly feel fine now. I need to clean up my memory sticks though (next lan I may leave them in my bag unless I need them) and also my shoes. I've also found out that my sisters may not want me to go to the next LAN (which is end of next month. This lan is 1 month late) because I this. I'm of the opinion that if it happens again, oh well, it happens. This is the first time it's happened.

I has a new car! Well, new to me anyway. See, my step-dad (finally) repossessed his son's car. See, he wasn't making the payments on it AND he went out and bought a new one with his tax return. So, yeah.
Anyway, it's a blue Chevy something-or-other, it's got 74,000 less miles on it than my van and hopefully won't need as much work over the years. Biggest thing is that my brother can have my van and I won't have to keep bitching about him using up gas and not putting enough back in. I spent a good deal of time cleaning it out today; there was garbage, mud, gunk from cigarettes and all kinds of nasty. All it needs now is a tune-up and an oil change, then it'll be good to go.
My brother is all pissed at me because I got the car, he feels entitled to it since I got the van last time (even though he didn't have a license yet..). Excuse me? I know I'll be able to make the remaining payments on it, pay the insurance, I'm more responsible, I asked first, he would never have done as much cleaning as I did, and I have more places I NEED to drive, like work.

Given that I just put another $300 of work into my car, it'd better last me another five years. That said, you know, I wonder if there are more furry children's books these days than before, or if the titles are just more accessible thanks to the internet. Case in point, this.I actually saw this in a rule 34/35 request, which is kind of disturbing if you consider that the character is supposed to be maybe seven or eight years old. I mean... come back in ten, twelve years. Jesus. sad

How sickeningly simplistic for a children's book.
