equation is C6H12O6+6O2->6CO2+6H20+36 ATP.

I can't see why the energy is absolutely important. I've never used that expression in Bio and I've almost completed the HSC course. D:

The ATP is the overall energy produced from the process 3nodding . Well, the final stage produces thirty-eight, but two ATP molecules are used earlier on, so the net energy produced is thirty eight 3nodding .

Just a note, the reaction is only a net reaction as well... there is more than one stage... sweatdrop
