Des Voh And does anyone know any novels that involve Qui-Gonn-Jin as the main character? The Approaching Storm, and any of the Jedi Apprentice novels.

The sum of all dealings with bad people and aliens:
Oh no! Martians have appeared and after annihilating the world's military, enslave the world.
Look out! People build super robots to combat the aliens, but the robots turn against humanity afterwards and enslave the world.
Oh my! A powerful man develops uber weapons to destroy the robots, but then is corrupted by power and enslaves the world.
Oh dear! The Borg arrive and assimilate the supervillain, and using his knowledge and power, enslave the world.
Holy crap! An underground cult surfaces and awaken Cthulhu, who eradicates the Borg and then enslaves the world.
You ever get the feeling of Deja Vu when dealing with super powered aliens and tech?
