"Master? What do you mean?" Keiko asked, unsure of what was being discussed.

Youko Kenshi Dan nodded to the both of them as it was good to see them as well. "Yeah, so I've been thinking for a while now and finally made a decision. I want to have a master. Problem is, I don't have a clue how to get one. Sooo..." he inderectly hinted toward Sub, hoping he'd share his wisedom on the subject. "What sort of master are you thinking of, Dan?" Sub asked the trainer.

"You know, like one of those chi masters. Lykas and Odd have them and few other members too I think" he tried to explain to Keiko. "Well I've been thinking about that too and I think the dragon route would suite me."

"U-um..." Keiko muttered, recalling what was told to her about Channeling and Hybridization. "W-why do you want to do that? Isn't that supposed to be a big change? I heard it can be d-dangerous, too..."

Odd arrived in the main lobby via his phasing power, dropping in from the floor above. As per usual, Cadenza caught him with Telekinesis and lowered him to the floor. "I heard someone's looking for a Master." He announced, having barely heard mention of it through the floor above. "So who's looking?" He asked as he waved to Dan.

"Dan is, wanting a Dragon master, I don't think spooky boy could help with that." Sub jabbed at Odd, with a grin on his face. "As for a Dragon Master...there is RC, but I don't think he could train anyone, not in the way you need to be. Unfortunately the last great Dragon Master, a man who could change maps with just his roar, no longer lives...physically. That said, his Pokemon, a Salamence, does, a very old Salamence, the eldest Salamence in the world. Word has it, the Salamence guards a link to his master's spirit." Sub explained, taking out his SNAG and sending Dan a memo on what he has to do to find this link.

"Yes, I know. I thought about that too. I guess you could say I'm looking for a change though so I'll risk it." It was such an important decision that he thought it over for so long and wouldn't think twice to go for it recklessly. At Odd's sudden appearance, he took a step back in surprise. He politely waved back at Odd while awaiting Sub's reply which had its ups and downs. On one hand there was a master who could train him but he was technically dead. Then again, there was a way to contact him...but judging by the memo Sub sent, he'd be going through hordes of dragons, including the master's Salamence. "Well...seems very hectic but I didn't expect it to be easy. I guess I'll need to prepare then...Thanks Sub."

When Chaos began to lead him to the training room, Arthur motioned for Lava and the others to follow. Up until then they hadn't even noticed he was leaving and would have ended up being left behind if not for the gesture. When they all arrived, Arthur immediately saw Lux ready for battle. As soon as he spotted his stronger cousin, Lava darted fearfully behind Arthur. Looking back to him, he also noticed newcomer Alex approaching. "You decided to join us," he said gesturing for her to come. "You guys don't mind a third right?" Assuming the answer would be yes, Arthur picked up Lava and put him down in front of him so he'd get full view of Lux. Before he could run again, Arthur had Squirrel and Lightning block the exits. "Don't be scarred Lava," Arthur reassured him. "It's just training. If things go to far I'll jump in there myself to save you." Lava could tell that he wasn't lying about that and nodded. Gulping, he walked forward to stand a few feet in front of Lux. Letting out a small whimper, Lava formed a small flame on its back, being too afraid to make it any bigger. Although they'd improved a bit, Lava complete concentration over fire...especially when he was scared. "Alright Lava try an ember," Arthur called out. Since this was supposed to be training Lava to use its fire, Arthur assumed that the best way to go about doing this was a fire fight. Opening his mouth, he spit out a few weak fireballs at Lux.

Keiko frowned, obviously worried about Dan and concerned about his recklessness in undertaking such a dangerous quest. She didn't push him any further, despite that.
Chaos frowned when he saw what Lux could do. "Either it's sick, or there's something else wrong with it," Chaos said bluntly.

Odd smirked at Sub's jibe."As if the Dark and creepy guy could help? You're only useful here because you know everybody and that means you know everything." He joked back before looking to Dan. "If you're sure about this, then good luck." He told the boy. "And don't die trying."
Lux was barely even fazed by Lava's attack. "Lava! Quil quil lava." He responded to the attack, encouraging his preevolved cousin to put more effort into his attack. More confidence in his abilities would translate into more firepower.

Arthur was disappointed that Lava seemed to have gotten WEAKER, but he didn't let it show. He had to keep his spirits up if he were to raise Lavas. "Try again Lava," Arthur encouraged. "Feel that inner flame inside you. Don't let him scare you just because he's older." Lava nervously nodded and focused again, this time spitting out slightly larger fireballs that were a bit stronger. However, they still were nowhere near full strength.
Meanwhile, Squirrel and Lightning would be standing in a corner doing some training of their own...or really Lightning trying to hit Squirrel with lightning.

Dan looked at Odd and chuckled a bit nervously. "Uh, yeah. I'll keep that in mind..." Looking to Keiko, he could tell she was a little concerned. "I'll be extra careful, promise. I don't think I'll get very far if I act recklessly and dying is the last thing on my to do list" he grinned, hoping to reassure her.
Alex moved closer to the group at Arthur's gesture. It was a lot easier to see what was going on now that she was closer. She didn't have a fire type so she sent out her Lillipup instead. He could use Fire Fang and out of her three pokemon, needed the most help. The runt ran around a bit before running off toward Arthur's other pokemon. "Yeah, you can do it!" she cheered the Cydaquil on as well.

Fancy Mr A Arthur was disappointed that Lava seemed to have gotten WEAKER, but he didn't let it show. Lykas could tell Lava was trying but the Pokemon's personality was hindering it's power. "Alright, then...." He said as he gave it some thought. He didn't want to scare the Pokemon too much to train but most of Lux's moves would overpower an untrained Pokemon without too much effort. He ruled out Eruption due to power and Dig due to type advantage and that left him with Lava Plume and Focus Punch to work with. Focus Punch would likely be the most reliable for improving the little Cyndaquil's confidence, honestly, so he decided to go with that. "Lux, come here a sec." The Quilava barked in response and trotted over to his master, who knelt down and whispered to him for a moment or two. After he was done talking, he sent Lux back out to the battlefield. "Alright, Lux, use Focus Punch." He told the Fire-type before him. Then to Arthur, "If Lava can't build up his confidence, he'll never be able to break Lux's concentration. That's his goal right now. We're going to keep using this move until Lava can summon his flame at will in order to stop Lux's attack." He informed the other boy. He wasn't aware of it, but the Quilava could easily maintain concentration while avoiding basic moves like Tackle. Odd nodded to Dan. "You're a clever guy. I'm sure you'll do fine out there." He said, attempting to show the other male that he was being supportive, even in his somewhat stoic way.

"We may have to make another pre-preemptive strike against Cipher." Sub said to GRAY as he sat in his office. "You sure that's a good idea? We know they are active again but to what extent is a mystery. Sure, we could blow up that lab once and for all but for all we know the hydra slumbers under the sands, and two more heads take the place of the one we cut off. Then what do we have? A very angry cluster of heads." GRAY retorted from the speaker on Sub's desk, it was a direct line to GRAY's main unit. "Hm, true. We would need to access their strength. Would be horrible if they figured out our location finally and retaliated. That would certainly be shooting ourselves in the foot." Sub mused.

With the still weak below average ember being fired, Arthur realized just like Lykas that fear was making Lava weak, though those weren't exactly the words he used. "Lava!" he called out. This unfortunately distracted him long enough for an ember to hit. Flying backwards, he was caught by Arthur before he went too far. "It's o.k. Lava I'm here," he said as he put him down. "Now Lava if you can't get over your fear you'll just get into fights like these over and over. You don't want to rely on instinct all the time do you?"
Lava hesitantly nodded before facing Quilava. "Squirrel was able to get over his fear," Arthur added, motioning to the Sentret. He was braver now, his past nervousness almost nonexistent. Now he was the strong one and Lava was the wimp, which he of course knew. The fact that Arthur pointed it out would hopefully spark Lava's fighting spirit. It did help a little, since Lava's back flames seemed to grow. Going back into battle, he attempted to get at Quilava with tackles since fire wasn't seeming to work. Unfortunately, Lux ignored these attacks and kept hitting Lava away with Focus Punch. Luckily, though, Lava actually wasn't giving up. Arthur noticed that he was constantly glancing at Squirrel as he avoided Lightnings attacks with ease. Was he actually jealous of him?
"Now you're getting it Lava," Arthur said. "Now let's try that ember again." Opening his mouth, Lava managed to force out the fireballs this time at full strength. Arthur had actually used Lava's new found envy of Squirrel to fuel his training.
Speaking of Squirrel, he saw Alex's Lilipup approaching and made a motion for Lightning to stop attack. Greeting the Pokemon as it came, he offered it a spot training with both of them. Lightning could use the training, he'd told it.
