Interesting. I know this is going to sound extremely "pop" of me but I do love their song The Bucket. In fact, I'll listen to it now.

I know. I said "pop" because they released it as a single and it features on Triple J's hottest 100.
They are classic Aussie Rock-a-billy

That's odd, because they are actually American.

s**t, shows me how much I know about them. I now will hang my head in shame and change it off of the Streets. Back to Queens Of The Stone Age.
Have you heard any of their earlier stuff- pre Songs For The Deaf.

Yeah. I've been a JJJ listener since an early age, so I've watched them grow and evolve. Also just yesterday I got given one of their early albums... may even be their first. I think it's self titled. Haven't listened to it yet though.

Does it have a pic of a female's lower half? Or is it Blue? Either way, they are great albums and I have to get my hands on another copy of both. I would have to say that Rated R+ (To Everyone, Everywhere, All The Time) is their best. I do not like the latest- it is lacking the driving bass or the funky bass that Nick Oliveri brought to the band.

Yeah. The new one was kind of... hmmn... Lazier sounding? It didn't really get me going like their previous ones.

If it was for Burn The Witch, Little Sister, In My Head and Everybody Knows Your Insane- I would have written them a nasty letter. They are basically the only songs from the album I listen to. Something I listen to Somebodies In The Wolf and Long Slow Goodbye.
My best friend, whom I got into them, feels the same way after listening to the earlier albums.

Got the newish Franz Ferdinand CD today. Was only $22 so it's all good.
Hooray for fun and ridiculous music.
OOOH and I just found out the other day that The Mars Volta are releasing a live album! I'm a bit dubious about it, because the live set I've heard by them was kinda bad. Well, only when Cedric sang. The instrumental bits were awesome. So I hope there's not much terrible singing and lots of well wicked solos on the part of Omar.

From the above list, the only thing I have to say is this- The Veronicas are hot.
I am not much of an Aussie music fan.

ManagerKyoto From the above list, the only thing I have to say is this- The Veronicas are hot. I am not much of an Aussie music fan. Correction: They're not hot. They're short. And from that list I only really like Kisschasy... and I probably wouldn't like them so much if I didn't meet them before they got really popular. End of Fashion are okay, but I only like one of their songs. The other ones I've heard bored me. Little Birdy are okay too, but they're not on my favourites list.

On the rare chance that I am listening to Aussie rock, it is The Living End.
Oh, Meiko Kaji is one of the only Jpop singers that I listen to on a regualr basis.
