How did you become a .hacker?

as a semi-related side note, when I bought //infection, the dude at the game store said "Take it easy" as opposed to "Thank you for your purchase." I thought about what he meant for a long time afterward.

Maybe he played the game and thought it was extremely hard. D: It was hard for me at first.

I like to think that he meant that I shouldn't go comatose.

Sign was airing about the time I was 7.
So, I got hooked & bought infection. Then bought Outbreak cause I couldn't find the other 2.
But a friend let me borrow Mutation & Quarantine.
And then I bought all the GU's the day they came out.

I rember first dot it was summer I watched my friends play final fantasy alot so I wanted to play a game myself I was 8 years old ( I know that it sounds like I'm lying but it's true) I watch the anime and I notice that it was diffrent and I got intrested I don't how exactly it was complex

I've probably already stated this, but .hack//SIGN
was my first .hack//. However, I have yet to com-
pletely finish the anime series simply because I
remember it so vividly that the episodes I have
seen meld together with those I haven't and I get
confused and frustrated at trying to pick up where
I left off.

My next was .hack//INFECTION, which frustrated me
to no end when I got to the end and relaized how
underleveled I was compared to Skeith.

I must admit, I almost gave up on the series once
.hack//LotTB began to air on Cartoon Network. The
choppy voice acting and lack of a central plot really
deterred me from the series, plus the fact that Yuki
Kajiura was not doing the soundtrack.
