Quote: Manar Name Meaning: Fate Nickname:
Obtained: Won in a RP contest
Mother: deceased Father: deceased Siblings: scattered about Mate: none Kids: none
Personality: This smooth-talking cat is a totally cool loser, a smart creature unable to get anything right, and brave while being a complete baby. Yes, he’s a regular Barenaked Ladies song.
This animal was the personification (animalificaion?) of “anyone perfect must be lying” right up until he found the pride and straightened himself out. There, his powers could be used for good.
When he was younger, he loved to tell stories, but never to make others happy or entertained. He just liked to make himself look really important and special- topping the stories of others whenever he could. Within him lurked a deep desire to be the center of attention, liked by everyone. Probably because he had been the last born in a large family and always felt like the one that shouldn’t have popped out at all. Growing up this way, he became quite happy to lie his a** off whenever possible. A compulsive fibber, constantly seeking out the best tale and working it so it molded into something he could say happened in his own life.
When he discovered a pride of story tellers, he had first taken it as an invitation to truly master his ability to lie- thinking he could top anything the animals within the pride had to tell him. Quickly, however, he discovered a vast difference between their tales and his; they didn’t always make it about themselves. In fact, they rarely did. And yet… they seemed happy. Loved. Baffled, Manar decided to stick around the pride and learn their ways, soaking in their stories and, by some stroke of luck, learning from them. There was something about listening that seemed to give him a warm fuzzy feeling- something he had never gotten no matter how many times he spun a story of his own. Eager to push his social experiments further, he became a jumping spider.
His natural desire to speak to others helped him connect with rogues quite easily- he had no trouble getting others to open their hearts and tell him stories from their lives or from generations past.
Searching the lands, he discovered something amazing.
He… he liked listening to them more than telling his own tales. And they seemed to like him for it! In all his years of bragging and trumping others, he had never felt so connected. Truly, the pride he had found was made up of magicians.
Plus, whenever he got home to recite his stories, he got to go back to some old roots. Telling and listening- such harmony! It wasn’t long after his first journey that he came to understand he was meant to be a part of them. Forever. The leopard that couldn’t tell his own life from all the lies he’d told over the years had finally found the one thing all his fibbing had been a search for- a home. Creatures to love him.
And all it took was for him to realize he had been living the wrong way his whole life!
Though he started out a bit rough around the edges, he has since become a sweet, energetic animal that loves to explore and spread the stories of love through the rogue lands. More than telling stories, he now enjoys discovering new tales, the pride teaching him to listen as well as speak. Of course, no one’s perfect. Yes, he’s come a long way, but he still thinks great things of himself that probably aren’t true. Perpetually the smooth-talking, cool loser, really. Just with a plus side these days.

Quote: Chasin Name Meaning: Hebrew- “Strong” Nickname:
Obtained: Won in a RP contest
Mother: Father: Eyal Siblings: Mate: none Kids: none
Personality: How are you supposed to be jealous of someone so completely… awesome?
No, Chasin, free spirited and joyful, most certainly did not have harsh thoughts for his beloved half sister. Quite the opposite, in fact- he adored her very much. He knew his father to be a strict creature who knew when to tell someone off for doing the wrong thing, and sometimes seemed happy to do it. (Though maybe that’s just something someone who’s gotten in trouble likes to think to feel a bit better about the situation.”) The fact that Asenath always SEEMED to be doing the wrong thing, yet rarely got in trouble for it, fascinated the young cub.
Obviously she was doing something that he wasn’t seeing- something that allowed her to get away with her wrong-doings because they weren’t actually wrong at all. A loop hole, if you will. Chasin adamantly believed that studying her was the key to escaping the wrath that came after mistakes were made or trouble was gotten into.
So he decided to watch her like a hawk its prey.
It probably looked weird to a lot of people- a small cub following around her full grown sister like he wanted to pounce on her at any moment- but he didn’t care. He just didn’t want to be punished anymore!
Because, quite frankly, getting into messes seemed to be a very refined skill for the little sod, and at so early an age! Even when he tried to obey his father and sit put something bad found him. He was a mischief magnet. So, instead of working so hard and so fruitlessly on not getting into trouble, he decided it would just be easier if he too learned the art of the consequence dodge.
Anyway, he liked his relative, as he liked every member of his family, father included. They were all fun to play with and the elder ones he held a profound respect for. In his mind, there was no room for jealousy.
A good, sweet, somewhat clumsy and accident-prone cub, many would call him.
Deep in his heart he longed to be the kind of lion his father wanted him to be, but while still so young it was hard for him to find the right method of showing his potential. Something he might eventually grow out of as he gets older and spends more time with other members of the pride.
He was even willing to become a hunter if it was what his father wanted. By the way he paid attention to Asenath, he imagined it was probably the best choice. CLEARLY hunters were awesome if his dad liked to spend time with one of them.

Quote: Vtla Name Meaning: "No" Nickname:
Obtained: Won in a Personality contest
Mother: Father: Siblings: Mate: none Kids: none
Personality: He is an extremely creative creature who vastly enjoys making others happy through his stories and doodles in the dirt. Particularly children, though not in a “I’m going to take you back to my cave and show you a good time” kind of way. Simmer down. He’s just a teddy bear when it comes to the young, always trying to make them entertained. This being the case, he’s usually considered a good teacher, though really he much prefers simply making them laugh than instructing them.
