(temporary) breaking lines rp (cos gaia's being stupid)

Finally the combination of Angel nibbling at his ear, one of the other puppies making a particularly energetic leap onto his stomach and Buster's claws trying to dig his way under the waistline of his trousers woke Drake up with a start. he looked dazed, completely confused as to what was all over him and why he was on the floor.
"Hrugh?" he made an incoherent noise and groped for one of the wriggling creatures on him, picking Buster up by the scruff of the neck and examining him in confusion before realising what it was.
"how did-?" he replaced the puppy and sat up slowly, sending Tyler rolling down his torso and into his lap with a startled yelp.
"Oh sorry kiddo." he said, rubbing his eyes and casting a very puzzled look up at the bed. being careful not to step on the puppies, he stood up and looked accusingly over the bed, to find Koko and Judith sleeping 'peacefully'.

"hey, i know you girls had something to do with this..." he said, though wasn't sure. he figured he'd have remembered if he'd fallen out fo bed.

Koko bite her inside cheek and kept her eyes shut. She simply turned in her 'sleep' in response to his voice.

Judith, who really had fallen asleep, ignored Drake.

Drake huffed and looked around the room with a yawn. he wouldn't need to sleep again, so he crouched down and decided to play with the puppies instead.
"hey guys," he said softly, turning them over to tickle their bellies. they were so small and sweet. An idea struck him and he glanced over his shoudler because the girls would probably not approve. he then started trying to stack the puppies on top of one another into a pyramid shape.

Koko opened her eyes slightly to see what Drake was up to....his back was to her so she couldn't make out what he was doing. So she slowly sat up and she looked to Judith may actually be asleep.

Judith was tired from the flight and had quickly fallen asleep. She dreamed that she was in a generic city with Patrick which was suddenly attacked by a fifty foot tall Ivy-monster. After that it started making less and less sense.

[Gotta go to school now. I was almost late yesterday. lol]

After a few attempts the pups learnt to briefly top wirggling and drake had completed his puppy pyramid.
"yes!" he said quietly and grinned. they then wriggled agian and wobbled of fin their various directions.
"I am victorious."

Koko laid down on her stomache and faced the edge of the bed. "What are you doing?" she asked pulling back a srand of hair.

"nothing." Drake said quickly, sounding incredibly guilty. He then crawled over and bumped noses with her.
"what were YOU doing, missy? I was on the floor covered in puppies."

"You nearly pushed me out of the bed in your sleep," Koko replied back with a smirk. "And you and the puppies looked cute." She smiled with a quick kiss.

he smiled, seeming to have gotten away with it.
"I forgive you, then." he chuckled and returned the kiss again. he then stood upa nd moved over to the curtains, looking through the corner.
"it won't be too long until sunset" he commented, wincing back to safety as it started to burn. "We need to think about hiring a car and setting up a hotel in Whitby before the shops close."

"Calling a cab should be easy enough," Koko replied as she got up and stood behind him. She leaned into his back and hugged him-swaying slightly. "Not sure about the hotel....or how lucky we'll be finding another that allow pets."

"Thank you for before," she mumbled referring to the comfort he gave after her dream.

[i just had an idea - if they get stranded and manage to meet Aridas in a pub or something he could let them kip at his place]

"Well Whitby has a lot of tourism, and plenty of people like to walk dogs on the beach, so we might get lucky. we need your internet thing again."

he then smiled, leaning back a little. he was curious about the dream, but didn't want to upset her.
"Was it really that bad?"

"The ending was," Koko replied snuggling up to him and holding him tight.

"What happened?" Drake asked, curiosity getting the best of him. he then turned into her and hugged her.
"You know, it doesn't matter. It's just a dream."
