The New Breed (OPEN!!!/ACCEPTING)

By now Anya was starting to put the engine back together, this process was slower because she cleaned each piece before she put it back. Once she had finished she wiped her hands with a cloth, she smiled at the scientists she thought she had done a good job, she had increased the efficiency at least 16 percent.

Gabriel snapped his fingers and his Polearm, which he had left at the entrance, flew over. He had made an explosion just large enough to make it move, then he started to do something similar to what Malcolm was doing spinning it hitting for the balls that were aimed at Claudia."You couldn't have told us earlier, oh fearless leader".

"Oh...so what, you have a crush on her now or something?" he glanced back at Shift as he asked, then thought about what he said..going and salvaging whatever games survived was a good idea, but his slightly burnt jacket might bring unwanted attention, the gun would probably get him arrested.... Grinning slightly at the thought Renka shrugged off his jacket and took off the gun holster, wrapping it in his jacket.

It only took a second for the spell to be dissipated and Claudia to open her eyes to see the balls being deflected by the boys... she really didn't like that. "I don't need protection you know, I can take care of myself! Now I suggest you guys get out of there before this spell melts you, bones and all!" she told them. She gave them a second then let the spell get complete then cried "Source of all power, crimson fire burning bright, gather into my hands and become an inferno. BURST FLARE!!" then a spear of fire came from her hands and went for the balls, incinerating them upon contact and blue white flames rose. It was the most powerful Shamanistic spell a human could use, it could melt anything, even a golem.

Now she hoped that the boys took her advice and got out of the friggen way before she used it. If not then she was going to be in deep trouble. She knew it was stupid to do that but Gabriel was telling her that his flames were better. And she showed him how her fire spells were, he was lucking she didn't cast other spells, especially some curses.

"Fireproof" Gabriel said simply but moved anyway, then he had an idea, if he could make the balls brittle maybe he could block the barrels. He lit a rather hot flame in one of the bio-ball launchers trying to block it up "And I said better, not hotter" he said writing his name in small, beautiful acrylic letters, the point was to show his level of control over the flames. All the while still batting the balls away, he was severely tempted to hit one into the back of Malcom's head but then he would get in trouble.

"No, at least i don't think so." Shift said while he was picking up Renka's stuff.

Renka grinned slightly "Well....maybe I'll look for some romantic music while I search for games so you and your angel can bond.." he clenched his wounded fist and let enough blood flow to make his red-glass board, then hopped on and glanced at the people below, waiting for a good time move.

Joshua watched as Renka hopped up to grab some games that weren't burnt. He laughed at Renka's comment. He looked back over at Shift. "Did you guys talk a lot or did you just kind of stalk her around? On second thought, don't answer that. Hey Renka I'll join you."He jumped up and called some wind so he could float and gently floated over to where Renka was.

Kenji stood on the top of one of Tokyo's skyscrapes. The city sprawled out beneath him. Since he escaped the labratory he had been hiding, stealing what food he could and laying low. He had been hearing whispers about a group of people looking to get revenge on the scientist and he was interested. Taking a small step he plunged townward, to the streets of Tokyo. Just before impact he dissapeared, reappearing in a crowd of people walking the streets. Time to do some looking.

Finally Gabriel had a good point and used it. "You didnt need to know, but you got the right idea. Lets try this before the Danger raises." He then shot out his metal marbles into the barrels then with a snap of his fingers in rapid pace. Each snap tighten the barrels and blocked his side of guns.

But Just as the last one the Damn voice kicked on. "Power raise, counter attack measures developed, Danger level increase to 8 Targets now Dem expendable." The Mother program hacked through the security levels and locked all door to the white room as well as to it central core. All the guns removed the whole room seem to power down. But In its place lasers covered one end the room quickly covering the area filling out into a checked pattern. Ensuring no chance of survival. <********! GET Behind me!" He said closing eyes and summoning all the energy of his body. His team was in danger and he will do everything in his power to save them. Regardless of the cost.

The sound prove room from above had the scientists with no idea that the high intensity Lasers was about to cube the 3 most powerful and most costly experiments. This would leave the in small inch by inch chucks of bloody mess all over the white room floor. The Next test for Anya was to see if she could rebuild something after it was destroyed. So we remote explostive device was implanted in the engine and detonated. Even With extra tools and supplies they wondered if she could still make the top of the line engine.

When the voice came one, Claudia knew that it was not good. With them locked in that meant that they'd have to destroy anything that was in there with them. And with her teammates in the room, it would be hard to fire off spells and not hurt them in the process. Dammit, how are we going to get through this without hurting each other? she thought. Suddenly the whole room was locked down and lasers were everywhere. She wasn't sure what it meant, but whatever it was Malcolm knew of the danger and was telling them to get behind him. Now Claudia didn't really want to since she had her pride, but right now if she was going to save herself then she'd have to trust Malcolm on this. So she got behind him, wondering what could be on his mind right now or what the lasers meant.

"So, got any ideas?" she asked him, she hoped he did. She didn't want to be the reckless one who would get her comrades killed because she couldn't' aim her spells. She was still knew to them and was really too busy to practice with them since she was always trying to keep low. She could only hope that after this she'd be able to get some practice and get better at controlling herself.

Kenji wandered through the streets for a while before he came to the apartment complex he wanted. Walking inside he headed up stairs to apartment 9G. Knocking 3 times he let himself in and found the man he was looking for. "Makarov"

Renka raised a brow "Trying to avoid an awkward conversation about Shift's love life, are you?" he joked and spotted a good way to avoid being seen, a few big trucks were coming "You wanna come too Shift?" he asked and glanced back.

"Yeah that sounds good. Anyway i'm hunting for some new anime to watch. You ever seen Zombie Loan?" Shift says as he starts to follow them. Then adds, "My love life is none of your concern. Bring it up again and you'll have a couple of new scars on the back of your neck."

"Expenad...." Gabriel started ".....That's not good" he said nervously running to get behind Malcolm, Malcolm thought it was bad so it probably was. "This thing is trying to kill us" he said blackly to Claudia while trying to make his body as small as possible "So not dyeing would be a start".

Anya covered her face as some of the smaller pieces flew in her direction, she turned and glared at the scientists. That was hard Anya thought as she started to get to work, finding what ever was salvageable and discarding what was destroyed.

Malcolm then forced 3 metal plates from the floor up. then bounded them together using his own internal Metals covering the seams. With them together in a triangle formation he layed them cover the group. Still tense and sweating he barked to Gabriel to. " Heat the metal evenly and prefectly our lives depend on it! It needs to be a smooth polish surface." He said for the first time since they teamed up he had to relay on the others for survival. He wasnt even sure if he could even do it. Gabriel wasnt really one to count on for being able to not just power house it.
